[Q] Motorola Xoom 3g is not responding while Trying to root Motorola xoom 3G

I tried to root my Motorolo Xoom 3G however after appliying fastboot reboot commend the device stays at the screen where Motorola logo and Dual core technology are.
The device is not responding any commend that I applied via PC.
I am able to enter fastboot protocol.
Here are the commends that I applied.
1 - adb reboot bootloader
2 - fastboot oem unlock
3 - fastboot flash boot boot.img
4 - fastboot reboot
After I applied all these commends , in MsDOS screen there were fihished text.
What should I do to start the device system again?

You can manually reboot by pressing volume up a power and holding until it reboots, then when you see the red dual core screen tap volume down and then volume up. You should be back in 'starting fastboot protocol' again. Make sure you have actually unlocked. Try fastboot oem unlock again and if it gives you instructions on the Xoom screen, follow them all. It should reboot into the os...skip all set-up steps except go into settings /applications/development and make sure debugging is checked. Then reboot back into fastboot and continue with what you are doing.
I unlocked it again however still it stucks at the Dual core screen. Is there any other operation to start the system.
By the way, I am using a Turkish version of Motorola Xoom 3g. I guess it is an important detail.
I have resolved the problem.
I downloaded MZ601_H.6.1-38-11_Retail_Turkey file from motorolo developer web site.
Fastboot flash boot bot.img
Fastboot flash system system.img
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
Fastboot erase cache
applied the above commends.

[Q] Fastboot mode absent in my phone?

Hey guys,
recently joined this place and its awesome. So many things you can learn...
Ok onto the issue - I was gifted a Micromax A092 a few days back. Qualcomm quad core processor, 1GB Ram, Jelly Bean 4.3.
Well after rooting it somehow (total nightmare - there are a couple of guys in another thread I have been posting in out here, who are still unsuccessfully trying to root theirs) and installing SuperSU and enabling USB debugging, I have hit a brick wall with fastboot mode. The Vol down + Power button combo gets me to the logo screen where it stays till I am forced to pull the battery out to reboot.
Phone does get detected under Device Manager while its stuck on the logo screen and I can install drivers to get it to show up as Android ADB Interface/Android ADB Composite Interface but fast boot refuses to detect it even though adb does when connected normally and executes all commands properly.
Well here's a list of things I have tried:
15 seconds ADB Installer - check
Minimal ADB and fastboot - check
Android SDK with google drivers and unnecessary packages - check
Universal naked drivers - check
Modding the inf files with my devices hardware id's - check
Pdanet+ driver installation method - check
Mobrobo/Mobogenie - check
Manual driver installation - check
Different USB cables - check
Few other random hacks - check
Later gave adb sideloading a shot hoping I could flash a custom recovery onto it via command prompt. No dice there either. Being unable to flash anything means I am still rocking "android system recovery 3e" as my recovery mode which in turn means the dreaded signature verification failed message trying to install 3rd party apps in recovery and sideload mode. I have also tried installing a couple of these custom recovery modes via .bat files but I guess its failing due to the same damn signature verification reason.
Now I know all phones don't ship with fastboot mode but given that this phone was released just a couple of months back and 2 year old inferior phones from Micromax have said feature gives me hope that maybe there indeed exists a way to flash it.
Also got this .dat file from somewhere for apparently flashing my phone with a stock ROM :
@ECHO off
adb reboot bootloader
echo for not erase modemst1 and modest2
rem fastboot flash partition gpt_both0.bin
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash sdi sdi.mbn
rem fastboot flash fsg fs_image.tar.gz.mbn.img
rem fastboot flash modemst1 dummy.bin
rem fastboot flash modemst2 dummy.bin
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
echo for not erase bt and wifi information
rem fastboot flash persist persist.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash usbmsc usbdisk.img
fastboot erase splash
fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot -S 256M flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot -S 256M flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
Seeing a lot of fastboot commands in there make me slightly optimistic if might have a fastboot mode after all?
So anyways what am I missing here? Or does the phone not have fastboot mode at all? Coupled with the fact that the asinine default recovery mode won't allow me to load custom apps via side load, what other options do I have? Is fastboot a prerequisite for flashing?
Really frustrated...a little help please guys...thanks.
PS: What is the difference between bootloader and fastboot mode? I can get my phone into bootloader mode via the necessary adb command but it's still stuck at the logo screen so don't know what to make of it.

[Nexus, Bricked] After fastboot flash bootloader ~ , The phone doesn't work at all

I wanted to install custom recovery system on my phone.
So I tried fastboot with recovery image
what I did is this
1. Download recovery image
2. fastboot oem unlock
3. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
then again it seems I got an error
the error was
Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and may not work properly
so I tried to reinstall OS
the step was this
1. fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase cache
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash bootloader ~(img file download it from google)
but suddenly it doesn't work anymore
doesn't work any button....
what should I do now..

Question Help! ADB sideload LOS rom doesn't work with TWRP

I got Motorola Edge S from China, and plan to:
1. Unlock (Succeeded !)
2a. fastboot flash boot twrp-3.5.2_11.0-2-nio.img
fastboot flash boot_b twrp-3.5.2_11.0-2-nio.img
SD card cannot work properly, as well as Adb sideload, so Official LOS.zip cannot be flashed,
OR
2b. fastboot flash boot lineage-19.1-20220604-recovery-nio.img
fastboot flash boot_b lineage-19.1-20220604-recovery-nio.img
Stucked on the Boot-up screen with Logo before Recovery mode.
3. flash Stock EU rom
(to achieve more international firmware, since I don't find independent firmware.zip)
4. flash LOS rom
N.B. [data] partition had been cleared, and I should haven't cleared [system] partition, but I cannot boot back to stock rom after Step 2, and I believe the stock rom has been removed for any accident.
Please help
Might be a long shot here, but I bricked G100 when trying to flash to both slots. Use the Motorola device recovery tool to bring it back to stock and flash only ONE slot (the active one) with your rom. There's installation scripts on this forum that do exactly this for you.

Initially I just flash one slot. Then I read that inconsistency between 2 slots can cause problem, so I have flash 2nd slot also, by copy-partitions-20210323_1922.zip or by "fastboot flash boot_b ...".
Now, I can also recovery and boot back to stock rom, by flash boot.img extracted from stock rom.zip with the same version as mine.
So the KEY problem is:
Under TWRP recovery loader, with ADB sideload turned on, the PC seems cannot connect & send below crucial command to Android:
$ fastboot flash boot lineage-19.1-20220604-recovery-nio.img
N.B. I have already used USB driver from Motorola, so ADB commands can run without problem, except ADB Sideload mode. Also, I have tried using USB 2.0 hub port with 2.0 cable (4-pins) as well.
TWRP for nio is not stable (yet). Use the instructions for lineageos official.

Late here but on 2a step, you can actually copy the ROM zip to internal storage since windows can detect your phone as storage device when it is in TWRP recovery.
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/nio/install is telling everything you need to know.
Though:
NEW:
Code:
fastboot devices
fastboot --set-active=a
// Update firmware
// Files taken from https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/motorola/nio/official/RETEU/
fastboot flash modem_a NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash modem_b NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase mdmddr
fastboot flash fsg_a fsg.mbn
fastboot flash fsg_b fsg.mbn
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefs1
fastboot erase mdm1m9kefs2
fastboot flash bluetooth_a BTFM.bin
fastboot flash bluetooth_b BTFM.bin
fastboot erase carrier
fastboot erase ddr
fastboot reboot bootloader

// First setup
// Files taken from https://mirror.math.princeton.edu/pub/lineageos/full/nio/
fastboot flash dtbo_a dtbo.img
fastboot flash dtbo_b dtbo.img

fastboot reboot bootloader
fastboot devices

// Install recovery
// Files taken from https://download.lineageos.org/nio
fastboot flash boot <recovery_filename>.img
for example:
fastboot flash boot_a <recovery.img>
fastboot flash boot_b <recovery.img>
fastboot reboot recovery
// Be sure all firmware is consistant
// Files taken from https://mirrorbits.lineageos.org/tools/copy-partitions-20220613-signed.zip
adb sideload copy-partitions-20220613-signed.zip
fastboot reboot recovery
FRESH INSTALL OF LINEAGE
Code:
Reboot into recovery
CHECK WHICH IS THE ACTIVE PARTITION, FIRST TIME A
Goto “Factory reset”
Goto “Format data/factory reset”
Goto “Format data”
Goto “Apply Update”
Goto “Apply from adb”
adb sideload <lineageos.zip>
Goto “Advanced”
Goto “Reboot to recovery” (now active partition is changed to the updated one)
CHECK WHICH IS THE ACTIVE PARTITION, FIRST TIME SHOULD BE B!!
Reboot to system and setup...
(This is how I do it...)
(On updates, active partition is switching on reboot after you have done a flash of lineageos.zip file)
(Forget TWRP for this device as it is not finished and several bugs are there. Just use Lineage OS)
TWRP only works on Android 11, above that nothing will work and it will be very buggy
