Pixel 3a CA Combinations for NA Model (G020C/G020G) - Google Pixel 3a Questions & Answers

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out the LTE carrier aggregation combinations supported by the Pixel 3a. I know it should support most of the common CA combos in North America but what about those in Europe/Asia? From what I learnt it seems that CA is a software feature and that Google can actually control the CA settings on a per operator basis. Does anyone have any idea/experience using a NA Pixel 3a in Europe/Asia and getting CA to work there?

There is only one model of Pixel 3 XL. CA combos is controlled by Carrier Policy. I have listed some tested combos here: https://cacombos.com/device?model=Pixel 3 XL . This device support more combos but i need more data.

HTC U11 LTE band combinations for carrier aggregation/4G+?

Does anyone know which LTE band combinations are supported for 4G+/carrier aggregation in HTC U11, HK 6GB/128GB Dual-SIM version (or any version)?
_mfm_, did you resolved this case>? I'm not sure why my U11 is not connecting with carrier aggregation, while HTC10 does.
There is no way to know CA Combinations of HTC U11 without root. Do you have rooted device?
I only found HTC U12 Plus CA Combinations here: https://smartphonecombo.it/?device=U12 Plus .
Here is instruction to get 4G & 5G CA Combinations from phones: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g-supported-ca-combinations-from-your-android-phone/ - but there is no non-rooted method to get from your device.

Mix 2s Carrier Aggregation capability

Someone has already tested the CA capability with 4g+ in Europe ? Intracarrier & intercarrier band aggregation? I read a lot about the lack of full compatibility for previously smartphone models so before buying the 2s I'd love to hear from you if Xiaomi resolved the issues or not!
Thanks!
A saw only ca 7+7. And no ca with 3+7 or 3+38. Maybee working 20+7.
No CA on latest miui 12
Hi,
I read about a thread on enabling it on Mi A1, but the very first step there fails on Mi Mix 2S. I know it's currently not working (nor was it working in the past, either), because download speeds are lower than 20 Mbps, while on my HTC U11 it surpassed 70 Mbps on same SIM and location. I also checked, there is just B3 band and no secondary carrier enabled. I haven't found any guide to do this on MiMix 2S (SD 845), but was shown possible on SD 625 (Mi A1), which to me seems absurd. Maybe some devs can join in with an advice? Thanks!
I cant say anything about Europe but in the USA it works fine. Running xiaomi.eu 12.5.14 miui12.
I have here listed supported CA Combinations: https://cacombos.com/device?model=M1803D5XA .

Share QCN file for different revisions?

Quick background on this issue.
I have acquired a GM1910 Chinese version of the OP7 Pro and I am seeing less than ideal carrier aggregation setup with info from NSG (network signal guru) and *#*#4636#*#*
This is the current setup I have: OOS global version of 9.5.7 with root and magisk. There are 4 carriers in Hong Kong and I have access to 3 to test:
1. Smartone - 4x4 MIMO most of the time, band 1 and 3 2CA
2. 3 - 2x2 MIMO most of the time, band 1,3,7,40x2 5CA
3. CMHK - mix of 2x2 and 4x4 MIMO, band 7 with no CA, band 40x2 2 CA
I am seeing way less CA activity going on compared to my previous Galaxy S9+ (HK edition) and changing profile in PDC does not make any difference in the CA setup.
I am thinking to compare qcn on GM1913 (EU edition which the official OP website sells for HK) to the GM1910 and see how it is different. Can anyone share your qcn with your IMEI cleared out?
My assumption was the modem and configuration are the same on these and that's the reason I buy the Chinese version, of course besides Chinese version is quite a lot cheaper than HK version.
A little push on this topic and hoping someone can share their qcn!

Redmi 5 Pro - EU - NO 4g+

Hello, I'm based in Italy and I noticed that with every app I've tried there is no sign of 4g+ on this phone. In my place there are three bands bts with 3-7-20 band so I was used to my old oneplus 3t always using 2CA. I find it absurd that a 2019 phone with a quite recent chipset doesn't support it.
I'm not rooted so I can't check with network guru...
Is there anyone that noticed something different? Do we have any confirmation? Is it a software issue or did they really disable ca?
Thanks in advance to anyone
Edit 22/11: It was confirmed today by realme email support that there is NO 4G+ support for the realme 5 pro so as I thought they didn't pay Qualcomm and disabled aggregation.... Just so anyone know before buying the phone. AFAIK all other phones even on 99 euros tier now support at least 2CA
Sounds unlikely it doesn't support 4G with 300 mb/s upper download/upload limit... Not to mention I've looked into specific network responsible files and modules including vendor/modem partition and img. But if you don't believe me...
Btw I've got China Realme Q version which doesn't support B7/B20 only B3 which means I only get 1/3 available LTE/4G bands in my country. Nevertheless I manage. Even if they confirmed they don't support 4G, LTE can get pretty fast. I'm getting high speeds here in Hungary. I don't know whether or not because I use RMQ, not RM5P though.

Hello and thanks for your reply. Of course I believe you, but I guess you didn't really get the main problem in lacking of CA.
Phone supporting bands means nothing, there are many low cost xiaomi phones that, for example, got problems with CA of B7+B20 (like my old Mi A1 for example) which you can find several references in the mi.com forum (for example here, but italian topic: https://c.mi.com/thread-1751078-1-0.html)
This was due to xiaomi disabling some CA combinations due to the phone being sold in different markets and xiaomi wasn't present in the EU officially back at the time, so even tough the phone did support all EU 4g bands it was just not aggregating them.
This leaded as said to GIANT network fluctuation problems which I can make you an example for: under a BTS with b3+b20 inside a building phone was catching 1 bar or B3 instead of getting 5 bars of B20 (which works better inside buildings) so, next to each other my wife OP3t could use internet and receive calls, my Mi A1 was stuck on a single bar not receiving anything.
So i am not talking about SPEED (which is even limited on non-main carriers here in Italy) but about a more serious "stability" of the network, while you move and keep switching between bands, which is crucial for a phone, just that
Xiaomi lately fixed the problem in newer phones, but for years it was like that (mi mix, mi 8 and such are all affected by lacks of EU CA combinations). This realme looks to be the same, and even worse because as said there is not a single 4g+ or CA combination according to them.
Since you are rooted can you check please with something like Network Guru if you, near to a multi-band BTS can "receive" some sort of carrier aggregation there, if you have any near?
Thanks

I see your problem. Totally makes sense. Though I don't have network signal issues with my device that can easily be because I'm in a different country with different carrier. That is the easiest explanation. I've taken some screenshots for you in network guru. Hopefully this'll help a bit analyse the situation.
I have here listed Realme 5 Pro supported 4G Combinations: https://cacombos.com/device?model=RMX1971EX - This support 4G+ but only intra-band contiguous combinations so this is reason why in most of networks no CA working.

Question Enable All Wireless Bands on OnePlus 9

Is it possible to enable all wireless bands on the OnePlus 9?
I have seen threads showing that Samsung devices with Qualcomm processors had been modified to open all LTE bands.
Is this possible on the LE2110?
It has more RAM/Storage than the US variant but fewer of the NA LTE and 5G bands.
Using the search feature, I didn't see anything specific to OnePlus.
Cell phone communication isn't just a software thing. You need a modem that does the bands and the right antenna inside. The Samsung hack may have been possible because Samsung may have had all the hardware for the extra unlocked bands. If so, then that is rare. Most companies won't spend the time to put the hardware for the bands in they do not intend to release the phone with. Why waste money on research and parts to have the bands possible that they do not intend to support?
