Moto G 2013 flash rom or recovery doesn't work - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So i have a Moto G XT1033, to give some context, it was just fine, then my USB power cable started malfunctioning (i tested another, was just fine), the next day it was powering and i noticed the battery level wouldn't move, so i removed the cable and the symbol of powering was still there, i tried rebooting and nothing. So i had the brilliant idea to leave it run out of battery, and when i power it again, got stuck at system logo (lineage 14 i had), same thing with recovery, stuck at TWRP logo, and i have bootloader unlocked.
Then i tried wipe/factory reset with adb fastboot, reflash TWRP, seems good, no errrors, but nothing, even when i tried a different TWRP version, it seems okay, but got stuck at the old version logo, like the flash doesn't work at all.
Tried flash another roms with fastboot/mfastboot, stock 4.4, 5.0, 5.1, again seems ok, no errors, and still stuck at lineage logo.
I followed both these https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219 and https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/how-to-unbrick-moto-g-falcon-t3394788 the first one doesn't work, the second i can't see my moto g as qhsusb_bulk or Qualcomm HS-USB QLoader 9008.
Something curious is that when i use fastboot boot recovery.img, it kind works because i see the version changed, but still got stuck at logo.
Resuming, can't boot system or recovery, flash rom or recovery doesn't seem to work, and booting another recovery kind of work, any ideas?
Another thing, it had some battery problem already, when it was about 45% battery, he just power off, but something like 2-3 hours before that happens

[Q] Bootloop after applying GPS antenna fix

I was having terrible GPS reception and I tried the antenna fix- sliding a tiny peace of thick paper under the antenna connectors:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1-uCIb-t8I
After powering up the phone booted once, then rebooted after couple of seconds and has been bootlooping on Google logo since.
- Takes much more time than normally to power on, then falls into Google logo bootloop,
- Cannot go into bootloader, power + vol buttond doesn't do a thing,
- If I hold vol up + vol down while bootlooping it powers off,
- Plugging in doesn't change anything, no charging indicator when powered off.
Is there anything I can do ?
Did I kill my phone ? If so, how ? What could I have damaged by simply prying the cover open ?
Are all the connections secure?
I checked all the connectors, they're ok.
After a day or so the phone got back to the living- I was able to boot and play around for a while.
Then I tried to update (I got the Lolipop OTA), which failed...
Downloaded the factory image and the flash attempt always gets stuck at " sending 'system'"...
Bootloader, radio, recovery, boot, everything gets flashed, then it gets stuck at flashing "system".
Any ideas ?
EDIT:
Flashed 4.4.4 in NRT without any problems, boots normally, still cannot flash Lolipop ...

Stuck in "Warning Bootlaoder is Unlocked" Loop and Need Help

I have looked at multiple guides on this and other sites, googled and tried stuff and I cannot resolve this problem. Hopefully I am posting in the right place.
I took the jump and unlocked the bootloader on my Moto G first generation, XT1034 successfully. I flashed TWRP 2.8.60.xt1034.zip with adb and this was successful. Then I flashed Super SU 4.6 Update and that was successful. I got into trouble I guess when I tried to flash Cyanogenmod 12.1 nightly. I used TWRP to flash via install. The flash had an error, which unfortunately I didn't write down. I believe it was something to do with a partition. However, it looked like the flash failed. At this point and for hours I have been trying to fix the "Warning Bootloader Unlocked Loop I am stuck in.
I have been able to get into the phone and flash via adb commands. I've tried several commands suggest to fix this that I have found in forums. I have tried flashing several recoveries including an older TWRP per the method in this thread, a clockworkmod - and the original 2.8.6.0.xt1034. When I get into the phone bootloader which is available, I have not been able to access any options in recovery. Pushing the power button on recovery leads to a blank screen sometimes followed by a recovery starting or a Motorola Logo starting up and a couple times a recovery. TWRP has started a couple times, but never gets past the intro screen, where it locks up. clockworkmod (clockworkmod-6.0.4.7-falcon.img started once after flashing through adb and gave me flash options. I tried to sideload, didn't understand, went back and the recovery locked up. These recoveries no longer load at all.
Through all of this the "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" logo screen comes up after plugging into the computer (Windows 8.1).
Example, I open the phone bootloader by waiting for the phone screen to go from the "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" screen to blank - it cycles from logo to blank. If I'm quick the phone and hard boot the phone will boot into bootloader. I connect to the laptop through USB. When I toggle to recovery and hit the power button the screen goes blank, the Motorola Logo pops up, goes blank and then the "Warning Bootloader Unlocked" appears. The Laptop then seems to connect and disconnect as the Warning screen comes on and turns off.
The factory selection just goes to a blank screen.
I would really appreciate some advice on how to get the phone back to a state in which I can work with it and try again. It is very difficult wading through all of the information out there. I've learned a lot through this issue, but can't take it any further.
Thanks, Jeff
Solved - Stuck in "Warning Bootloader Is Unlocked" Loop
This resolution took many hours to figure out, but I finally got there with this guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219, this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=54855457#post54855457 and this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/gen...e-firmware-t3042687/post59139823#post59139823.
I tried RSD Lite on different computers and USB cables I could not get the device recognized. So I ended up with the MfastbootV2 method to reload stock firmware, which I found on the firmware thread above - this was big, as my phone is with Wind Mobile in Canada and the link is the right one. The only thing I picked up from a different website was to use a computer with USB 2 ports. This is what I did, but I don't know one way or the other if USB 2 was needed. .
Can't thank you hard working guys enough for the time you take to put these threads together. I'm back up and running. As a bonus, after a big clean up in the process, my phone is running fast again.
Thanks everyone.

Stuck on boot loop

This is me story, flashed a OTA to my cel and all the sudden my phone reboots loads up to the Oneplus logo and then nothing... Boot loop, so trying not to worry that much, noticed I could still boot to fastboot, I tried flashing CM11 praying that would get my phone back... Boot loop, Flashed CM12 and I got a low battery message boot loop, then going back to fastboot just got me a qualcomm brick, used the Color Os fix... Yay no more qualcomm brick but phone stuck on red icon, does someone have a clue what happened to my phone or if I would ever get it back to normal? :crying:
How long did you let the phone sit for (wait) and you assume it's stuck? As I know if you use the Qualcomm downloader will flash back to ColorOS and it will wipe everything automatically and your phone should be able to boot normally.(Last time when I revive my OPO if I remember correctly it will show the red 1+ logo for at least 30-45 sec.
It just sits there waited for a couple minutes, all the flashing goes ok, even with CM12S the flasing seems to be good, but it just boot loops, and the other thing when I flash a recovery it does flash it, but I cant make it boot to recovery what so ever... I just hope and pray there is a way to recover my phone since it would be a shame if someone told me, you have to buy a new motherboard... hopefully someone would just say replace the battery XD, because when I flash CM12s it does say the battery is too low to power and it keeps power cycling

[Q] Google logo bootloop after flashing TWRP

Last night I tried to flash TWRP just because I wanted to go to a custom ROM- alas, the phone now will not go past the google logo. It usually hangs there for 10-ish seconds and then reboots. Occasionally hangs there indefinitely. It's not a power button issue- the button worked just fine before flashing and I've confirmed it still works normally with a multimeter.
I tried to reflash stock using the Google images and "flashall.bat", which says it succeeded- but the phone still loops. I can get into fastboot, but I get the bootloop even in recovery. Running the similar script through Nexus Root Toolkit always fails on flashing the system partition- usually a buffer error due to a sparse header. Can't even seem to get it to do the "fastboot boot TWRP.img" or whatnot. I've flashed KitKat, Lollipop, and MM stock roms to no avail- they all say they succeed, then continue to bootloop.
I've tried just about everything I've seen on here- but not being able to get into recovery hampers efforts like repairing the persist partition.
Help?
When you boot into recovery, the phone reboots itself? If it does, it could be a sign of a failing power button.
When flashing a stock ROM, are you flashing userdata.img and then performing a factory reset/wipe before booting the phone with a stock ROM for the first time?
When I can get into recovery (without a restart), the phone is totally fine.
I think part of the issue is that the battery ran down while I was trying to do the repair- hence it trying to restart and failing. Power button still seems fine (again, confirmed with a multimeter). I left it plugged in to my iPad charger (since that's a 2A charger) overnight and it was still blinking red in the morning. I moved it upstairs and now I can't even make it that far.
Perhaps the battery was just shot by the time I got the "repair" done, hence the boot loops. Is there any way to revive it shy of cutting open the battery + charging manually (with a bench supply) or just replacing the battery altogether? I may try doing a motherboard swap with my working Nexus 5 just to see if it is in fact the battery.
When the phone is powered off and connected to a power source, do you ever see a flashing red LED? You flashed the correct twrp for the hammerhead?
I would try a new battery because it seems like everything is working.

Bricked LG G6 H870, tried it all

Hello everyone,
I have a European H870 and unlocked the bootloader, used ADB/FASTBOOT to install TWRP but could never get to start in recovery because of a warning screen that shows up because it is unlocked.
Couldn't get into recovery from both ADB or by utilizing the keypress method. Vol-down+power --> logo --> release power for 1 sec then back on it. I even tried with other variants of that but could never get into recovery or DL mode. What's the point of unlocking the bootloader if you can't do anything afterwards because of a stoopid warning screen?
I never had that issue with my Samsung Mini S3. But with the LG's that I have, since the bootloaders were locked, the phones display this warning screen upon powering up. I can't be the only one with this issue unless I was doing it wrong. But I wasn't. So...anyway.
So with my G5 H850 I got around this problem by using FASTBOOT FLASH RECOVERY TWRP*.IMG and then FASTBOOT REBOOT before using ADB REBOOT RECOVERY during the boot process to get into recovery before the phone had fully booted.
So I tried the same with the G6 H870, of which I also cannot get into DL mode or recovery because of this screen. The only difference was that there is something different about how the H870 loads the system so that I could not run ADB commands until the phone was already 100% booted and thus rendering my recovery flash useless.
I ended up doing something that caused my phone to always boot into fastboot so I downloaded what I thought at the time was the correct boot.img and flashed it. And now I'm at the current situation where the phone boots past the warning screen and into the logo screen but then stops for a few minutes before rebooting. This process endlessly repeating. It is obvious to me that the boot.img was incorrect.
So what I have done so far is loading all Qualcomm drivers, LG drivers, QFIL and QPST (drivers being installed or uninstalled for each instance that requires them). The problem now is that the phone shows up on a COM port but is is unrecognized to all the different software and thus can I not communicate or flash anything to it.
A couple of unbricking procedures that I tried are:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/how-to/lg-g6-unbrick-method-t3935924
https://androidmtk.com/use-qpst-flash-tool
There were more but I cleared my browser's memory.
So, do I need to invest in an Octoplus device to get past this or is there another way?
Thank you.
