How repair internal Partitions? :( - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone, thanks for the help in advance
When trying to do a factory reset on my phone, the computer restarted and it seems that my recovery was deleted
I installed the TWRP by fastboot, until there everything ok
when deleting the data, it gave an error "Failed to Mount" / preload "(Invalid argument)
and since there everything went wrong,
I tried reinstalling the rom, and it doesn't work
I tried to reinstall the backup I had and neither
always the same error when doing wipe "Failed to Mount" / preload "(Invalid argument)
I tried to change the partition format according to what I read and I can't solve it
Any suggestions? Thanks for your time

E:failed to mount /preload (no such file or directory)

I just bought this Note 4 and I am doing a factory reset but I get this error when I choose wipe data/factory reset.
My phone shows as follows
-- preload checkin...
E:failed to mount /preload (No such file or directory)
Data wipe complete.
The phone is wiped and it seems to operate normally, but this error bugs me, anyone have any ideas? My assumption from looking around the web is that this phone has been rooted before, if so how do I reset things back to factory? How can I tell if it's still rooted?
FYI, I have updated to Lollipop and I am familiar with using ODIN. Once again this is a Note 4.
Thanks in advance...

Unique problem with flashing namely lollipop!

Hello, I faced unique problem. Device Nexus 5 D820. I've read a lot of topics on how to flash stock dactory image, clean, and did everything the same as described there.
Problem is that I am not able to flash lollipop (Android 5+) factory images. I mean everything goes fine, but when it comes to final start of the system it stucks on flying dots (dots are moving) over 12-24 hours and won't open. However the KitKat (Android 4+) factory images flashes properly, the system loads in 10 minutes. I also tried to update from Android 4.4.4 by google update (Android 5+) notification, but it also gets stuck on the same flying dots. The problem began when my device running Android 5.1 several months suddenly rebooted and system asked me to enter password (I do not use any passwords on phone), I entered my google account password, then it stated that the data was corrupted and needed factory reset. In order to avoid this I just turned it off and on and it stucked in flying dots. When I tried to wipe cache first the following errors appeared:
E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E:can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
Then, after several flash things these errors do not appear already, but problem still remains. I already delete all data, so no need to bother keeping data. Any Ideas what causes this problem?
When I boot from TWRP and do operations the following string appears during operations (wipe cache, etc.):
Updating partition details...
E: Unable to mount '/persist'
I had a similar problem.
Make sure you wipe dalvik and cache in recovery before rebooting.
Finally, nothing worked until I did a factory reset after flashing.
Be sure to first backup photos, documents, etc. in addition to nandroid and titanium backup.
Update: problem SOLVED

MOTO G XT-1045- Cannot Restore With CWM

[Q] cwm not restoring? MOTO G XT-1045
So I'm kinda new to this so forgive me if I cannot provide adequate information.
Background/Necessary info
Just recently, my phone died and wouldn't turn back on. I fixed this by keeping my phone on the charger forever and holding the power button forever. When the phone finally powered back on, every app began to crash, including process com.google.process.gapps. It was so bad to the point where I couldn't use the phone normally. I tried to fix it by booting into recovery and restoring the phone to the factory version. This brings me to:
The problem
I wiped data/factory reset, wiped the cache and cleared the dalvik cache. For the first time I saw this:
E: can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_install
E: can't open /cache/recovery/last_install
I thought those messages didn't mean anything significant, so I went ahead and tried to restore, and I got the error:
Error while restoring /system!
A lot of research on google led me to some:
Attempted fixes
I tried unmounting and mounting system/data/cache/external sd, formatting the cache/system, to reinstall my existing mod from my sd card (that gave me error 7), and I tried wiping the cache partition. Nothing worked.
How do I get rid of those error messages? What am I doing wrongly? It might be staring me right in the face but I cannot see it lol
Also ill post more info if needed. Thanks in advance!

HELP failed to unmount cache (device or resource busy)

at first im just failing at wiping cache.
now i cant even restore my TWRP backup.
it is saying "Failed to unmount '/cache' (Device or resource busy)
now my phone got no OS :crying::crying::crying:
I was facing the same problem.recovery twrp>wipe>advance wipe and then select system>repare or change size>change file system>select FAT
after doing it try to restore your backup and if you get error the only way flash your phone to the last build number(avalaible for your phone) and then install twrp recovery(last version).
restoring backup should be work with this method.
you can try this method
Mount>select partitions to mount : cache
select cache and after doing it go for restoring.

No need to restore /cache partition, exclude it The partition is used by TWRP that's why you can't unmount it.
I still have the same problem persisted. Can't wipe cache with this TWRP recovery. It says can't mount/unmont cache device or resource busy. Restore of the backup was impossible as well. Even when cache was excluded. Changing file types and repairing it also didn' work. In Mount cache is ticked permanently and it can't be unticked.

Encryption failed - device will not work

Hi,
Im noob at this so please bear with me.
Ive got this Tab2 which will not work. Im interested in fixing it(if at all possible)
I have no idea what had happen to it prior to this error.
Problem:
When starting and went trhough the boot logo the device shows "Encryption failed" page.
with further text:
Code:
Unable to complete encryption due to interruption. Perform factory data reset(erasing all your data) before use. After resetting, try encrypting device again.
Tried:
booting into recovery and resetting data/factory, no result.
when entering recovery it says:
Code:
"installing system update, no command" and enters the recovery.
then it lists:
Code:
Android system recovery <3e>
under menu there are some errors:
Code:
"Manual mode"
e:failed to mount /data (invalid argument)
can't mount '/data' (invalid argument)
E:failed to mount /data (invalid argument)
E:can't mount /data/log/recovery_log.txt
and a lying robot...
--------------
when trying to delete/factory reset the unit
it show all ok:
Code:
-- Wiping data...
Formatting /data...
Formatting /cache...
Data wipe complete.
Rebooting gets device into previous "Encryption failed" page.
I tried to flash custom recovery with odin but even when saying pass it does not work, I cannot boot into either twrp or cwm.
tried the trick without rebooting and going straight to the recovery from Odin.
did try with sdcard and flashing the recovery but it fails to flash that way.
also tried to apply the stock rom with odin but it fails evry time.
is there hope for this tab?
please assist.
regards, DMB.
