Today I got my third 750v swap unit back
This time, again, is the problem of sound quality
My frds said that they could only hear my background noise, but can't hear anything from me. Even the Palm CS also said that. (I had confirmed that it is not the problem of network)
I bought the unit at Dec, 2006.
Get the 2nd unit with same problem at May, 2007
Get the 3rd unit today
So I just wanna ask, is there anyone faced the same problem with me?

I haven't had this problem with my Treo 750. In fact the reason I still own the Treo is because of the great sound quality and phone funcionality!

Yes, I get the same problem, albeit intermittantly. Callers sound razor sharp to me, but occasionally those I call say it's a very bad line.
this is Palm's standard problem
i think this is one of couple of non-HTC parts in new Palm device.
Same thing with old Treo 600 and 650 devices.....
there is some echo, sound quality varies, there are also some volume issues,
i think palm should recover that in further devices.
Anyone have complaints with the Bell version, unlocked? Any muffling / lack of clairity when on a call?

I'll have to test another unit. Perhaps everyone has a different impression of "bad quality". Sounds like typical HTC tinnyness to me.
Agreed. Sound quality is subjective and all in the eye (or ear in this case) of the beholder. I consider it decent for a phone.
I've noticed that the sound through the earpiece when on calls can be very poor a good majority of the time. It sounds almost distorted with a bit of a high pitch crackle to it...hard to explain sorry.
Not always there but more often than I am comfortable with and not the result of being in poor coverage area.
I'm on three in the UK if that makes any difference.

I recently purchased a SENA SMH10 and would like to record my voice for motovlogs via BT. unfortunately the quality is horrible and I can't accept that sh**. Does anyone know of an override for the stupid 12kb quality limitation that Google has been so kind to bother me with?
Since phoning works fine with superb voice quality, I thought that perhaps there's a method to trick the phone into thinking it's in a call and extracting the audio from there. but then again, I ain't a programmer...
I'd be grateful for your advice and can't wait for your answers!
PS: My phone is the Xperia Z3 with all available updates installed.
