Well, after not being on XDA for around 3-4 months, and a totally failed attempt to make my own app due to SQLite, i decided to use already existing open-source software to make something, wallpapers.
Now these are just the first couple of wallpapers i made, during one of the worst allergy attacks i have ever had.
These wallpapers i made specifically so they would fit in well with the Android Holo Theme, i am running cyanogenmod 10.1 and lots of wallpapers make certain things like the Holo clock, disappear, or seem invisible.
I will keep this thread posted, and add more and more wallpapers i make here.
Now, i am open to any, and all suggestions, so if you have a special request, please PM me, do not post it in this thread!

Hello...
I am trying to customize my (new) sony xpereia z2, (got it for waterproof), to as close as possible to a Galaxy note or tab, as far as it can go feature wise.
I already have a few floating apps:
-floating stickies-becomes complicated with too many stickies, swiping them to the side, it becomes (almost) impossible to find the one you want, needs a single view interface, for organized viewing/editing , as well along with the float feature.
-floating browser, and cobra - crashes with only 2 tabs, doesn't remember my websites.
-G-player - my floating window will not resize, pretty sure have gone through all the options in settings, it is stuck,
I am aware of xhalofloatingwindow and xmultiwindow.
- is the only difference between the two that halo floats and multi divides the screen in fixed way? or are there other differences in the two that I am missing...
- (also when people refer to 'halo', this is the same thing as 'xhalofloatingwindow', right? or is it different...)
- are these considered 'custom roms', or not bc only partial change..
- also TouchWiz... I have read that TouchWiz mimicking apps exist, and to look here, but I haven't found any names, thus far.
the features I want are: quick screenshot, and editing, and note taking next to the screenshot, in a logged/organized manner. I would buy a stylus too, if found if could find apps or roms that mimick the galaxy note.
I do like xperia's interface, lockscreen, homescreen editor set up, and buttons. It is not so much the interface that I am trying to change, but to get a few more features. but I would change the interface if that's the only way to do it.
another subject - copying images from web browser, (not saving them), this is impossible on android but have read with a custom rom (not sure which ones, all or only some?) it is possible.
also closing tabs in chrome. you have to close each one manually, obviously annoying, plus the fact that they all reopen if you just wait the program. which Roms (all or only some) can help this...?
please advise if you can ...
Thank you for any advice ....
Hi,
The best place to ask about these things would be this dedicated help thread in your device section,
> Sony Xperia Z2 > Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [INFO] ALL You Need To Know About Owning A Xperia Z2
Good luck!

This application allows you basically to create your own notifications.
The application itself
+ consumes no memory in the background - background-services, no background-processes
+ has no impact on your battery - it uses only native functions of Android
+ is compatible down to Android Jelly Bean
Design & UI
Micro Pin follows the official [Material Design]
Customization
You can customize the notifications title and content text as well as its system wide priority (choose between *normal*, *minimal*, *low* and *high*) and visibility (choose between *public*, *private* and *secret*) if you're running Android Lollipop and up.
Created pins are restored on reboot. Delete them by simply swiping it away.

Where's the app?
Warning, this is a CopyCat application of a open-source app called MicroPinner which already exists for over a year!
User @G-TEAM even stole the description with screenshots. Please report the app.

I see you (OP) backtracked on the "me-too" app (which, has a lot of the same detail compared to the original in the Play store), and are showcasing something else.
We (XDA) do not do placeholder threads though.

Since I don't have the time too support this project. At the moment I will not longer support or update this project.
Hi,
I want to share my fork of SlimLauncher, the popular launcher from SlimRoms. It is based on the latest 7.1 branch but works on Lollipop+. Since in the actual SlimLauncher many settings from previous versions are missing, I implemented the things, which I mostly missed. All features (also app shortcuts) from original SlimLauncher are working also.
Screenshots: second post
Downloads: third post
Added features:
dark/light theme
enable fullscreen mode
hide dock background
increase padding of folders in the dock
hide apps
Resizing icons
lock screen (gesture)
open notifications (gesture)
By users requested features:
Icon pack support (I think this is possible in near future)
Changing colours in app card (I think this is possible in near future)
Swipe right for Google Now (will not be implemented by me)
Google Search Bar (will not be implemented by me)
date on the desktop (Pixel like) (will not be implemented by me)
Notes:
This app can be installed beneath the regular SlimLauncher. The package name is "com.android.launcher3.unofficial", the app name "Launcher3". My source can be found here. I also started apull request on Github. Perhaps it gets merged...
Important:
I made this for my personal use. So if you want more features to be implemented or have some other suggestions, you can tell me but be patient. I have also other things to do. Don't ask for ETAs. If you want to help me, just contact me or fork my Githubrepo and send a pull request.
Thanks

Looks nice , clean, simple, and smooth. Don't have to much features. :good::fingers-crossed:
Thanks for taking the time to re-compile this amazing launcher.
I've attached screenshots from the classic v1.2, which had TONS of features that were for some odd reason removed from newer builds.
I'm currently running v1.2 on HTC M9 SENSE 8 Nougat, and it's working 99% well.

Yes I tested it also, but a few things I'm missing:
- fullscreen (who needs a clock in status bar on homescreen, when having a widget?)
- missing appshortcuts
- increase padding between folders in the dock (n needed of I use more than four items in dock)
Icon pack support would be great as I'm stuck with squares lol.
Filling that space after disabling search bar would be nice (in apps card).
Also. Resizing icons and layout in card apps.
I'm talking about place from screen.
is it possible to add icon support....that would be best.....simplest launcher with icon support ???
I suggest adding a date on the desktop (like in Pixel Launcher) only this thing I'm missing. Good job.
thanks for the dark mod ?
So interesting man, nice modern 'n compact design. I'm gonna try it later!
very nice launcher and indeed slim
Candy7 ROM comes default with SlimLauncher. This is a perfect candidate for replacement without going to another launcher.
Big thanks for this. ???

I will look at it, when I have the time next days... Even didn't recognize it, since I never disabled searchbar...
Sure. Changing colours in app card would also gladly welcomed.
Disabling Searchbar seems to be fixed. I'll test or a bit and upload an update tomorrow (of out works).

If you don't mind me asking, how do you have custom icons working? And what icon pack is that? They're beautiful.
Awsome Launcher :good:
Thanks for keeping it so simple........i would choose this launcher over Pixel Launcher.
I request you add some features
1) Swipe right on home screen for Google Now........like what Google Now Launcher offers
2)Google Search Bar and Date........Like what Pixel Luncher have
Thanks
