Hello all,
So here we go, I'll make it quick. I have wipe everything in the TWRP (vendor included) and now I'm stuck in the fastboot, I don't have access to the recovery and I can't access the TWRP because when I try to boot on it it tells me "Failed to authentificater/load image". I've been trying everything for 6 hours now and I've been looking for internet solutions. I don't even have internal storage anymore when I plug in the phone. I think it's dead but you never know so I'm trying my last card.
Thanks to all of you guys who're going to help me.
PS : Sorry If I got a bad english, like I said i did this very quickly
Flash factory firmware from fastboot odin. Make sure you have installed the required drivers. Let me know if that works.

Thanks, it worked! https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-6-t3796665
I used this thread and the "flash-system-boot-vendor" one, and the phone did reboot to OS.
Glad to be helpful ?

Hi,
I've posted a thread or two on here but I cant get any proper help or instructions to help me out
Basically, my phone has its boot loader unlocked (lock symbol shows up) and I have tried all methods to lock it but nothing works.
I cant boot the phone into recovery, and drivers arent very coperative either
I need help! ... I'm planning on selling my phone ,so need to restore it asap.
The problem started when I first bought the phone, it wouldnt update or reboot, so I tried a one click root, it unlocked the bootloader and everything looked fine. UNTIL, an OTA update came along, I applied it, but when my phone came to restart it was stuck on the google logo. I cant even update anymore
Pleease could someone help this n00b out? Really appreciated
Thanks!
Read. No seriously, these forums are chockful of help threads and guides on how to root your phone, install a custom recovery, fix your phone when it's stuck.
Since you want to go back to stock, I'll give you a hint...
1) Unlock bootloader using fastboot (DONE!)
2) Flash custom recovery using fastboot
3) Wipe data/factory reset in custom recovery
4) Install Gingerbread 2.3.6 in custom recovery
5) Lock bootloader using fastboot
Edit: If you're having trouble getting your phone to be recognized in fastboot mode, use the PDANet drivers for Windows. Usually that does it.
Thanks for the reply.
Trust me, I've read around this forum a lot! I've tried the drivers with PDA net but still nothing works. The drivers (adb I think) aren't recognised so can't get anywhere.
I get easily lost with the guides. I don't think they're newbie friendly. I .e. where am I supposed to type 'fastboot oem lock'?
Btw I have no custom rom installed ( I don't think) and when I downloaded the root checker from the market, my phone is recognised as not being rooted (even though I can't apply updates :/ )
I think main thing is that my phone isn't recognised in fastboot mode....

Learn about fastboot here

For the drivers, you can watch the video here

The guides are as noob friendly as they can be.
Thanks a lot for your help! I owe u polobunny , I can now lock the bootloader BUT, Ive rooted my device with 'twrp' and want to flash a ICS ROM. Which ROM would you reccomend and to install it do I add the rom to SD card and install from twrp interface? Or is it more complicated than that ?
Thankss

Installing the Rom should be the same regardless of recovery. Yes put the rom on the SD card and flash away.
Thanks but do I need to wipe data/restore or can I just flash?

Oh boy, you do need to read my friend.
In recovery (twerp, twink, Clockwork, whatever) back up your current set up. Then... I suggest you wipe data/factory reset, then wipe dalvik and cache yes. I do it 3 times on Clockwork just to be sure. The cleaner you get it the less problems you will incur. I always wipe fresh unless instructed specifically to do otherwise.
Flash your Rom, gapps, kernel and enjoy.
Dear XDA community,
I installed Clockwork recovery and the USB drivers. The device is unlocked and when in fastboot mode it is correctly identified by my PC as falcon XT1302 with an USB connection. When in recovery mode, the device appears as "Android" in the devices menu in Windows 7 and there is a yellow "!" next to it. Unfortunately after formatting system and deleting the cache as per instructions the device won't boot up. I'm stuck at the bootloader unlock warning screen. I can access fastboot mode and recovery mode but that's it.
I want to place the cyanogenmod zip inside the internal SD card of the Moto G but adb doesn't work. I get the device not found error when inputting a command. adb devices returns a blank. I don't know which drivers to install or what to do. I've tried various fixes on forums but none work. Maybe USB debugging is the problem although I distinctly remember switching it on. In any case, I can't boot so I can't change the settings.
All I want is a way to place the cyano .zip in the phone /sdcard so that I can install it. I'm all out of ideas. USB mounting doesn't seem to work. Neither does sideloader (or maybe I messed it up?) I am at wit's end.
I didn't have anything important on my phone so I did not make a backup. In hindsight, this was a stupid mistake. I've certainly learned a lot during the install attempt.
If possible please give step by step instructions. I am not a very technical person. Any help would be greatly appreciated. pls halp
kind regards

Thanks to the users who replied. I've managed to solve the problem.
Would have been faster though to get your device recognized while in recovery. You can install the driver manually and it should work. Just search for seperate driver files and ignore the Windows message that it is probably 'not compatible etc.'.
Then your device is connected properly and you can get ADB sideload to work from your recovery.
Hi Well I had this big problem and I was close to solving it until i messed things up, I tried to not ask for help here but it's been a week and I can't find anything ): My g925p is just useless right now. I hope you can help me
Short version
Using Twrp I picked the efs.img to flash it and I didn't see it had two options ( Boot, recovery ) It's on boot by default so I guess the file flashed as boot and now everytime i turn the phone on it goes directly to download screen ( for odin ) ... I think if someone can make a backup of their boot.img file and upload it somewhere i could flash it and then everything would be back to normal ? At least boot into the rom .-. Thanks for your time !
By the way, When I try to transfer files via sideload twrp tells me i need a higher version for that device, And I have the latest version .-. Thank you guys
Long version
It all started when I tried to flash twrp with flashify, I guess i flashed a wrong version and my phone got stuck on a bootloop, I fixed it by installing the latest version of twrp and factory reset, But then it got into a bootloop in the initial setup, So I decided to Flash a light rom and it worked ! but it wouldn't connect to data, Before I had this problem I backed up esf.img and I thought it would restore connection, But then ... ( Continue in short version B) )
Thanks you so much for reading guys !

That was the first thing I tried but Odin would give me the nand write error, And googling People would just say " Try different cable, different usb port, your nand is burned and you need to replace it " I did the two first things but the second, Well I succeded flashing a rom through twrp so i dont thing there's something wrong with it.
Thanks for the answer tho.
Hello all, this is my first post so I apologize if anything isn't right.
I recently flashed my Mate 9 to stock Nougat B19x through a method I found on this site and then decided I wanted root. Bootloader was already unlocked so I flashed TWRP and then tried to flash a couple different root methods that all failed... So I factory reset through TWRP and tried again but they still failed so on the initial boot everything worked except the screen was blank except for the soft keys. I rebooted and the same again so I put it in fastboot and tried to re-install Nougat through the same method that worked before. It went through the whole process seemingly fine and finished with 'Update should start automatically' but then the phone boot into error mode. I've looked through everything I can find here and done everything I can think of myself but nothing has worked. I can boot into to fasboot but nothing else, not even after flashing any recoveries or stock images extracted from UPDATE.app.
Func no is 14 and error no is 1.
It's a MHA-L09 and I really need to fix it as I can't really afford anything else right now. Any help would be really appreciated and I'm happy to add more info if I've missed anything.
Thanks guys!!!
BUMP
Sorry if it's not very concise, just really need help!
What commands are you using to flash the stock files?

Standard fastboot flash recovery/system/boot
Not sure if I'm flashing all the right files or if huawei needs different commands.
Follow this guide.

Thanks for your help. That's the one that I used in the first place but everytime I try again, TWRP either doesn't flash even though it says success or I can't get into recovery.
Everytime I try to access recovery using the hardware keys it boots to error mode so is there another way??
I've been looking into this some more and have found it could be a motherboard issue. Is this correct? And if so how much would that kind of repair cost and would it even be possible considering I've unlocked the bootloader?
Thanks again.

Some "bunch" of errors can tell you something about the issue, instead you should mention some of them or upload some screenshot to get a better clue.

I have error 7 on flashing any ROM, failed to mount system_root, vendor, E:unable to open /system_root/system/apex, e: unable to load apex images from /system_root/system/apex, failed to mount system root
Now i have logs can anyone help take a look?
I attached 2 log files
I have bricked my device two times already and almost bricked it the third time. I was saved by a ram disk stockboot.img file created by magisk. I cannot seem to install TWRP properly. All I can achieve is to flash TWRP into recovery and then boot into recovery it manages to boot up into TWRP, but the problem here is it is only once. When I reboot the system it then goes back to stock recovery. This is when I got the idea that since I could boot TWRP once why not go into it and then flash magisk. This is how after I flash magisk my device bricked. I bricked my device twice like this. I had to go to a realme service centre to get my device reflashed they were very helpful. I wouldn't want to brick my device a 3rd time, hence why I'm asking for help. Please try and help this Noobie, I am using UI 2.0 version c.09 I don't know what I'm doing wrong here because I am following all the instructions are available on the internet. It only seems to bring me to brick my device. Please anyone give some help. EDMUND SONG from Malaysia. [email protected]

Sorry, I didn't receive any mention from your post.
The worst you can try to do is attempting to mod it, root it, in this unstable stage; you have to first recover your device to a functional state before to try anything else.
The error seems to be linked to the super partition, TWRP not getting access to, and it won't boot this way.
Extract the super image from your stock ROM and flash it through TWRP, then format data, and try to boot.
