Hey guys, I ask here for help because i'm unable to find a solution to this problem.
Here some information to my device:
OnePlus One
ROM lineage-14.1-20170807-UNOFFICIAL-Sultan-bacon
Root with Magisk v13.3
Magisk Hide is enabled
SafetyNet passed
Playstore shows Certified
No other modules.
Already tried
clearing PlayStore app data and reboot
DRM info from PlayStore, It's says supported.
Super Mario Run and other Apps that blocked for rootet devices appeared after i enabled Magisk Hide and passed SafetyNet, but i still cannot download Netflix.
I hope some of you have the same Problem or a solution for this.
I also dont see netflix on playstore. I live in VIetnam
I'm also experiencing this, tried with a couple of roms and it's the same on all of them. I think that maybe it's related to our opo that isn't completely eligible for nougat (no stock rom for it also) and google is blocking every opo+nougat regardless of actual safetynet status. It's only my thought though and waiting for a response from someone who knows for sure.
Have you tried PA yet? When I was on that ROM, I can install many apps which not available on Los and other ROM
I was on stock cos13 with magisk and it also didn't show up but it didn't really matter as I just downloaded the apk file
I thinks is on the kernel side that it detect the root , but try to download from apkmirror.com it should work fine
Updated everything to current versions. Still the same problem.
Is there any way to view the exact reasons why my device is not compatible?
This would be very bad.
On my girlfriends phone (Moto G3) everything is working fine. Same gapps and rom setup.
I finally got it working.
My current setup is:
- OnePlus One
- lineage-15.1-20180827-nightly-bacon
- Magisk-v17.0
| - Magisk Hide Enabled
| - Systemless Host Enabled
| - Hide Magisk Manager
- Magisk Module "Google Play Service Fix for Lenovo Vibe K5"
- open_gapps-arm-8.1-micro-20180901
It seems that it is necessary to falsify the device information, as Lisko has already mentioned, the OnePlus One is blocked by the Playstore for Netflix if the Android API is higher than the last official ota.
This is done by the Magisk module mentioned above.
Hey all. I have a Mate 9, stock ROM, just unlocked the bootloader so that I can root. After rooting, I found that most everyone is recommending Magisk, so that I can hide root some certain apps, and pass SafetyNet so that I can use apps like Pokemon Go and Android Pay. And... it's not going well.
I've done this 3 times, trying to install Magisk as the site recommends. I have yet to pass SafetyNet. All I really need is to be root, to pass SafetyNet, and be able to play Pokemon Go.
Any experiences in here that I can learn from? Thanks! :good:
Just a thought but have you installed Magisk Manager and used the hide function for both those apps?
Flash this in magisk manager - modules

Its needed for safetynet to pass on Huawei devices.
If that doesn't fix it, check that you have USB debugging on in Settings - Developer options.
And that your firmware isn't too new. After Huawei releases a new firmware it takes about 2 weeks for it to get certified by Google.
And make sure hide is working, it should be turned on by default but you need to hide apps in the manager. And check hide logs, if it's empty hide is not working.
If there is text make sure Hide is starting.
Hi!
This morning I ran into some trouble while running the Android Q Open Beta rom that I've been using since release. I have downloaded and flashed the zip of the open beta with TWRP recovery and flashed Magisk afterwards. After the install was complete I booted in to Android Q and checked Magisk Manager to see if it installed correctly, which it did. I have some apps like Pokémon Go that require Magisk hide and they also worked fine for days. Until today, out of the blue Magisk Hide didn't seem to work anymore and those apps knew the devices was rooted.
I have then tried to:
1. reflash Magisk (although it was still installed)
2. reinstalled Magisk Manager
3. Reapplied Magisk Hide for those apps and rebooted
Between every step I also removed cache and data from the applications (even reinstalled), however I couldn't get the hide the root for the apps.
Anyone else encountered this? It's strange that it only failed after a few days of working on Android Q. Anyway I'm back on Android P at the moment.
Did you try updating magisk in magisk manager? I wasn't passing safety net until I did so

What version of magisk did you install? Try the magisk canary (debug) build. Works like a charm.
Hey guys
I've been using Microsoft Teams on my on my rooted phone using Magisk Hide for a while and it suddenly stopped working (saying my phone was rooted).
I then updated Magisk Manager & Magisk (22.0) but then Safetynet didn't pass anymore. I fixed it using safetynet-fix module as suggested here.
However since then I can't manage to use Teams, it still detects my phone is rooted. Magisk Hide is activated on the Teams app and companyportal app
Any help ?
Thanks

Maybe try an older version of Magisk(Miui 12.02 android 10).
Uninstall your actually version.

hey man, had the same problem and solved it yesterday after a lot of tries
I'm using the Magisk v21.2.zip and the Magisk 22 (manager). I uninstalled the Teams and the Company Portal app, made Magisk appear with another name (you can do it in the settings, I just put "Manager"), installed those apps again, used Magisk Hide and then it finally worked

That worked for me thanks a lot !
If anyone needs :
Uninstall Magisk using the Manager
Uninstall Teams & Company Portal
Download Magisk 21.2 on the official Github
Flash it using TWRP
Install the Magisk manager
Rename it in the app settings
Install Teams & Company Portal and use Magisk Hide
Good afternoon,
Excellent tip! I was using version 22.0 and it didn't work.
I tested with Magisk 20.4, it also works.
Thanks

Well after like a day or two it just moans about root access and you still have to do uninstall both and reinstall - So it's either that or remove root - It seemed to work but it's not for long 2 days of usage tops
For me, I managed to fix it somehow by uninstalling some root apps (TitaniumBackup, Swift Backup, Tasker, etc) and deleting my twrp folder in my root storage and removing CP/Teams and then restarting and then re-installing CP/Teams and then unchecking MagiskHide on these apps (it was already-reselected) and then re-enabling MagiskHide. I think ultimately it was this last step (re-toggling MagiskHide on/off) that fixed it. Previously, after re-installing CP/Teams, MagiskHide (and all sliders) was already enabled and I just figured it was working, but it might not have been.
EDIT - nevermind, it still gave me the error after some time.
Still not working for me on my OnePlus 9 Pro. Removed all files/folder with root/kernel/boot naming from root storage. Deleted MS Teams and Portal app and reinstalled them. Reenabled in Magisk Hide but the Portal tool still detects root. Any other solutions?
Edit:
It worked now. In Magisk Hide I had to select all services from the Portal app and not just the main one.
I did some testing and the latest Microsoft Teams (V1416/1.0.0.2021114201) works with company portal app with up to this version:
Intune Company Portal - 2021-05-12 - v5.0.5147.0
Anything newer eventually leads to 'non-compliant device' error, even with the latest magisk hide fixes.
You can get it on apkpure.
same problems here, even though some months have passed after this thread,
teams requested that I go over and install this intune company portal app,
the problem occurred in 2 (of my 3) devices, all rooted, the 2 that had the problem are rooted with magisk,
no problems on the 3rd one rooted with super su,
anyway, I've spent many hours trying to make it work,
I changed package name of magisk, I updated it,
I uninstalled edxposed and switched to lsposed, etc,
nothing worked,
only thing that worked for me was to roll back to an old teams version,
back to august of 2020,
I downloaded from apkmirror
Would it not be possible to just keep everything the way it is and only unroot the phone?
Or does unrooting mean you have to go back to stock rom...?
of course it would be possible,
I'm not using a custom rom (miui actually) but you wouldn't have to go back to stock anyway,
anyway, I wouldn't want to lose root only for some app that I use on a laptop or work desktop
most of the time, it's useful for the notifications though..

It does work, and you do not need to reinstall or delete anything - just select the Portal app in Magisk Hide, select it again to display its services, and check all the services.
I'm using Teams on different Magisk rooted Androids, also MIUI 12.5.12.0. Why should that be an issue?

Did you root with magisk?
If old version
https://xiaomiui.net/how-to-use-magisk-hide-5610/
In Magisk settings, enable Zygisk and Enforce denylist, restart device, go to magisk settings again > configure denylist and check apps you want to hide from root.

ok.. but do ihave to flash magisk ?
i have installed app but in magisk app setting i cant see the option mentioned.
Comdirect photoTAN app detecting root
Since version 8.3.0 additional measures to detect root have been added, do not update as MagiskHide won't be able to prevent detection. Until a solution is found I would recommend staying on the previous version for as long as possible. Finding...

here is a lengthy thread with another bank, where you can find many many suggestions on how to fix the problem.
i am having x3pro myself using the app mentioned there, but not using LOS18 A11 but Miui A12
with the newer magisk versions
- denylist active
- maybe try shamiko module (denylist enforce off)
- maybe try without shamiko (denylist enforce on)
- maybe magiskhide props config module
- universal safetynet fix
- magisk package renamed
- make sure to enable all options on your denylist application selection to hide all processes
- the application might get root info from google play services (GMS) or play store, where you should also delete cache after making changes and rebooting to see if your change does take effect.

Why don't you try ih8sn since you are on LineageOS.
Was this resolved? I am facing this issue myself at the moment with HDFC App.
ROM - Pixel experience 13 Plus
Device - OP7
Magisk v- 26.1
Universal Safety Net - 2.4.0
Deny List - enabled with many more apps
Example - Gpay, PhonePe, Paytm (All working fine)
YASNAC - Both checks passed
