[Q]How to root

Hi, I recently update my galaxy tab2 GT P3100 to 4.1.2 ,
Baseband version P3100DDCLK1,
BUILD NO. J2054K.P3100DDCMC1 .
Kindly help me to get out from slave .
I am confused as so many different rooting procedure available for different firmware version in Google . I am in stock Indian ROM . Is there any need to change stock recovery before or after root ?If yes , then how? I want to stay in stock room .Pl. Help me.

i know it is not for ur device but it works i tried on my p3113 4.1.1 and it worked and it also works on all devices and in 4.1.2 am sure of it guve it a try

Kit Kat for Samsung I9100

This phone doesn't have the official update to 4.4.2 Kitkat.It's reall old so that's why Samsung won't make and Android 4.4.2 for S2.But you can look for custom 4.4.2)

[Completed] downgrade or change firmware from chinese to indian gt i9500 5.0.1

i have gt i9500. 2 days back i found out the leaked official firmware for gt i9500 but i was for china " trueandroid.com/install-i9500zcujoa3-android-5-0-1-lollipop-firmware-galaxy-s4-gt-i9500/ " . I updated it via odin. it works fine but only issue is it has lot of chinese apps and telecom even maps. The more important part is that it eats a lot of battery and RAM, got battery life of 3hr27min only. It's laggy and quite slow now as before it looked smooth. i would like to downgrade to 4.3 or 4.4.2 or even if 5.0.1( indian) firmware is available i would like to how to do it.
as i am beginner i would like to have step by step guidance .
model : gt - i9500 (india)
android : 5.0.1

Install latest android OS on Samsung Galaxy note 10.1

I would like to upgrade my tablet to a higher android OS.
Downloaded odin software. Now I need to know what else to download to upgrade is OS to a higher version.
I read that I need to download firmware, but don't know where to go to get the latest.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I searched on sammobile and it shows version as 4.1.2, which is exactly what I have. I need to upgrade to a newer version.

Thats all the updates Samsung released no others you cannot source later firmware .

Same here buddy, all the roms online are for P60x model or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 LTE. Am pretty much stuck with 4.4.2 at the moment.
