APP that keeps unfocused apps focused - General Questions and Answers

Hello guys, I've accessed this forum for many years now, and always found answers for all my Android related questions. Now the time has come that I have a question that I cannot seem to find a solution to and have decided to create a account and ask the best forum for help.
So what I want to know is if there is an app that can keep my game running on the background just as if it were on the foreground. I know a lot of you have played a game where there is an auto attack option and if you leave it on 24/7 you will get more levels, items and stuff. I've searched a lot and didn't find a good solution what I did find was this floating app that claims to kind of do what I want but I need to connect to a computer with adb everytime I want it to work. The name of the app is floating apps I can't post the link yet because my account is noobish but will update.
So guys is there an app or perhaps some way to edit the .apk so that it works like that?

Anyone? Maybe if I rooted my device?

I want to make a make a simple app

Hi ,
I Have a very good idea for an app that is rather simple but very useful. It involves simply a Specific picture which you can zoom and pan around then there are a few text boxes I want included in the app to search.
For example , A route finder that is already on the internet. You enter the details on the box on the computer then the results come up. But i want the boxes off the website and instead linked to my app , then the results appear on my app. So a search function is possible via the application.
The problem is I am a total newbie to codes etc and haven't got a clue where to start in the least. The app is very simple and an experienced person could create it in know time but I am a newbie and willing to learn to create some useful apps to put on the market free for all to share.
Thanks

Have a look at the Android Developers website
Hi ,
Thanks for that , I've had a look but it is so so confusing :S
Oh yes , and if it counts I'm going to be using windows vista to create the app?? Is there possibly a beginners guide to creating these apps or what??
Oh yes and I have now got one part sorted (sort of) , I will use the image viewer already on the phone to allow the scrolling and zoom of the image.
Anyone got an idea how long it would approximately take to create such an app??

[Q] Is there a place to request for app/widget development?

Im wondering if there is a place to submit ideas on widgets/apps. There's not many people with the talent/skills to create programs but its sometimes the ones that know less that can think out the box.
Does anyone know of such a place?
I have this idea for an Instant Messenger widget. Since im very fond of widgets (because to me its a huge difference between our apps and iOS apps) I would love to be able to go through my AIM/Yahoo Buddy list on screen and send a message to someone that way without having to open up the specific app.
If something like this already exists id love to know about it. Even if its just a widget showing you who's online and when tapping sends you to an IM box (Kinda like the FB widget that shows you recent status updates/news posts.) If not id love to spread the idea and see if anyone can create such a thing.
Post this in the general android forums under the proper section rather than a device-specific forum under Development (where it should not be). Someone there might have some ideas.

I was thinking that but I've seen many other IM apps that weren't made by AOL or Yahoo so I figured a 3rd party would be more interested then the main source. Especially after seeing AOL ruin their AIM app with their recent upgrade.
Is there a way a Mod can redirect this thread to the proper place or should I just create a new one?

I promise you that none of the developers in this forum would be willing to spend time on an AOL widget I didn't know anyone still used that.

Yeah Im sure its a dying program but I figured it would bring it back a bit if it was always on =P like BBM ... when I had a bb i hated bbm but i used it cuz it was just ALWAYS on. If I had a widget I would always be on lol if i had the time I would love to learn how these things work and just make one.

[FREE][NEW] NeverForget - New Reminder App

Hey guys,
We are a small team of android developers that had a cool idea of an app which we released to the market few days ago. First of all, thank you for reading this, as you all probably know, promoting new apps is hard job these days and you are all we got.
The app called 'NeverForget' and the idea is simple: A solution to stop forgetting stuff when you leave your current location. There are tons of situations when this app may be useful. A classic example: When you leave your home at the morning to your job, you surely need to take with you some stuff such as your bag, wallet, keys, etc.. We have created NeverForget app to make sure you won't forget any of it again(Usually all of us forget something time to time). One of our main goals was to make the app as simple as possible, and that's what we did. One button click to start the app and when leaving your current place, the app will start a loud alarm. There are additional options available like setting the alarm name or taking a photo of the stuff you need to take.
After thinking of this idea, we have searched a lot and could not find any solutions to that common problem. After deeper search we understood why is that. There is NO way to determine device's location inside a building, for these days. GPS does not working inside closed places, and that was our biggest issue that we successfully overcame with NeverForget.
Basically the solution to it is that we rely on WiFi networks around you, if possible. If not, GPS service is required.
The app is FREE to use and available at Google Play.
We would appreciate your feedback and hoping you will try out our app - NeverForget.
For any questions you can send us an email to: [email protected]

Thanks again.

Keep app on memory...

So, i've been looking everywhere for this and found a lot of negative answers as also tried some fixes that did not work for me. What i wanted was a way of keeping an app into the memory without being auto killed by the Android System. I know there will be people saying that it's not possible. But there should be a way somehow right? Even if you had to transform it into a foreground app then it wouldn't be closed. The question is, how? Can someone be so kind as to help me into this? Thanks

Screen Capture with Web Address

Hi, I used to be able to capture (Screen Shot) a page I was on, and it also grabbed the Web Site address I got it from and attached it into a Text or Forum Post I would be posting or using. I didn't download any particular app to do this, it was something that was Stock. I can't seem to find this feature anymore for some reason. This feature might not be suitable to most, but for me, at certain times, it was very beneficial. Does anyone know of the setting or app that did this?
I was not rooted when I did this, nor am I now.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ for AT&T
EDIT: I searched for days for my answer, only After I posted this post, I was able to find my answer. It's the Android Operating System Screenshot tool But for anyone else that wants this feature, you need to open up Google Search & go to your Google Settings, Then go to General, then down to Edit & Share Screenshots.
