This is built natively for the K20/9T, right? Not like that other one which is a rip-off of the K20 Pro's that was somewhat patched to boot for the K20/9T?

Yup:good:
Running well for a first build. Installed over 9.8.15 MIUI EU build. Only real issue I've encountered is the fingerprint scanner. For me it's only working around 10-20% of the time even after adding the same finger 5 times.
Tons of useful customizations in Evo X means it's my favourite modern Android ROM so I was excited to try this out.
DT2W on ambient display/AOD works even when FOD is disabled which is nice. Auto brightness is working well. AOD is working perfectly. Camera (front/rear) working as intended however no light from the front pop up camera when switching to it (not an issue for me at all.) 75hz screen mod from the 66-75hz thread working. QuickSwitch magisk module doesn't break Bluetooth like most ROMs which is great.
I'll post more findings as I spend more time with it.
Thanks for the great ROM, OP.
Edit: face unlock is working really well. Of course its only the built in stock Android "trusted face" unlock but it works unlike a lot of ROMs.
Hello,
Is the rom completely translated into French?

I think this ROM should be installed after wipe everything including vendor. I did that and FP is working normally.

Thanks for information.
i came from xiaomi.eu and the booted perfectly! I don't know anout the fingerprint issue but in my case works AWESOME!!! No errors at all and in my opinion the speed of figerprint is better than miui GLOBAL stable! I just installed this awesome ROM and first issue is that in my case dtw is not working. I dont know, maybe is something i did wrong but i enabled this option and disabled it a couple of times and still nothing. Dev,can you help me? Thank You
I haven't unlocked my bootloader yet just because i haven't found any reason (good rom)..now i might change my decision...need some reviews too
Unfortunately kernel/ROM is affected with 88c000.qcom,qup_uart wakelock while Bluetooth is turned on
It's sad - while I am using Amazfip BIP as daily smartwatch phone is discharging really fast in idle mode.

That's bad maybe it's hardware issue then like some of fingerprint scanners are from different manufacturer.

Fingerprint scanner worked well for me on the latest Lineage build (24th August) and most other ROMs I've tried.

Not quite sure if there's any difference in fingerprint hardware in other variants.
In that case, I'd like screenshot from the Device Info application showing information about the fingerprint sensor.
Best Regards
- Akito
I have successfully installed this rom wiping cache, data, system and vendor.
The rom after 5h use I think is stable, the only problems for me are:
DT2W not found
Fingerprint is fast but you must exactly press the big area
Fingerprint access only by pressing power button, on display off doesn't function
Display is too saturate, no color profiles and the color regulation doesn't function as well
Display ambient when is off looks on
The update setting tells me that I have to update the same rom
The Camera is not the Miui stock, so is very poor in functions
that's all for now, the graphic of the rom is very accurate and there are many settings, thanks to the developer
Thank you for the build !

At last a tweakable Pixel Experience ROM
A new rom? This shows once again how great this phone was in the Samsung series. Let's not forget that it's 5 years since the launch. Greate phone, great developers!
jprimero thx so much for your efforts for our note 3 you bring it back to life ! gonna download it right now then flash and report my feedback
does this rom have the systemwide dark mode from latest android Q? I'm waiting for this feature for a while now. If it's available then I'll give it a try, otherwise I'm pretty much satisfied with Havoc OS?

Hello. Yes. I am following this ROM on my mi a1 from the dev of the ROM, JoeyHuab. He really does update ROM 3-4 times a week, no matter how mundane the changelog is. Q animations were already in previous builds and the rest of the q animations released in beta version of android q will be added in following revisions.
You should also understand jprimero15. He releases nearly all the pie ROMs (even LOS sometimes) for hlte by himself. And he has a quota on google console that is getting used each time he compiles a new ROM. So he may not have the same luxury as JoeyHuab to release ROM 3-4 times a week. But he may release when there is a major changelog or fix for an important bug.
You should try this ROM. I advise it too. It is one of the very few that has most users users generally want. PE, customizations, fluidity. It may not have as much customizations as havoc os, but it has the main parts (ones that would not be able to have even with 3rd party apps). But you can request more from JoeyHuab, though he doesn't like to clutter ROM with many customizations.
I've been using it for two days. No problems at all currently. Fluent, stable, fast and beautiful. Thank you for this nice work.

@jprimero15 congrats on the new rom. I am sure users will love it as your builds are always really good :good:
I just flashed this rom. I commented this with this rom. But I think I gonna switch back to havoc. I know it's rude to compare rom, but it came from same publisher, and I didn't say havoc is better. It's because it doesn't have 'some' havoc's customization. Also some function like gaming mode which is it doesn't have, that I really love because I always like play moba games.
The UI and everything it's almost look same btw.

No. HavocOS is by SKULSHADY and ZeNiXxX but Evolution X is by JoeyHuab. You check the developer AND maintainer. Not only maintainer.
And yes. You have free will to chose which ROM you want. It is normal to write "I chose this ROM because I like customizations" on thread of which ROM you use, but it is rude to write on every other thread "customizations are not enough I dont like the ROM".
Every ROM is built for a reason and it is of course not normal to have all of them with same customizations. Each ROM has its own user preference and users have options to chose whichever they like.

So far this is a great rom. Is there any way to add the charge speed? Like in havoc where we can see how fast it is charging on the lock screen
This rom comes from pixel experience rom and do not expect to have a lot of customization..just a part of them.

You should ask it from JoeyHuab. But the thing is, you need to provide github repo from the ROM that uses that tweak. And be patient.

I respectfully disagree. Joey added many options on 1.0 of this ROM. But due to clutter, he had to start with clean slate for 2.0 and re-adds customizations one by one. You can see changelog of last 3-4 days in attachments.
About "when it will be implemented", see this post.

Yes, you have right..in comparation with version 1.0 of rom, version 2.0 come with many improvements and new and updated customizations and is a very good rom and smooth!

Bug Reporting
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Thanks tour excellent rom this rom give me best battery life
Perfection
Hi,
My opinion regarding "DerpFest-10-Official-raphael-20200821.zip" paired with vendor "V12.0.2.0 for India":
Battery life with this ROM is good, overnight drain is 1 or 2 percent
The battery life is consistent, I mean mostly around 11 + hr
Screen doesn't flicker when I unlock with fingerprint
No weird bugs, rock solid stable ROM
I like the Derp Clear primary color very much
Jio Volte and Wifi calling etc. working fine for me
I use the Ticker option instead of Heads Up because lack of proper Gaming mode here.
Notification count in status bar is also one of my favorite features I wish other roms also has this.
Double tap to wake works perfectly (I was having issues in other ROMs)
MIUI Cam and Gcam works flawlessly
Gaming is good, phone stays cool (I play smooth+ultra)
Thanks :good:
Excellent, solid stable ROM with a lot customizations and great battery life. Good job sir. Thank you.

yes at longest its not below .36
I have to say, so far so good! Runs smoothly and everything seems to work great! No issues in the past few days! Keep up the good work!
Everything working so far? 5g, etc.? Does anyone notice any type of performance improvement over stock besides faster app loading? Just curious if this would be worth rooting and loading a custom ROM vs. stock.
Loving the ROM so far
I've been using it for a few days now and it seems good so far, it runs smooth for the most part and customization options are good. It seems stable so far without any system crashes I've seen. I've tried Carbon ROM, AOSiP, and this on my phone, and Evolution X is my favorite to use so far. With that said, I've noticed a few things since I started using it though.
One thing I found annoying was the fingerprint recognition needs tweaking to get right. After registering the print, it refuses to read. I have to register it in one color, green seemed best, and then scan with the white and cyan ones seeming to work best for me. I have also used Carbon ROM on the same phone recently and didn't have a similar issue, and noticed when it was registering, the whole screen dimmed a bit and the sensor didn't look as bright as normal when registering but then was full brightness when scanning. I'm not sure if that is the fix, but worth looking at.
My other main issue so far is the task manager chugs often for me, with like 5-10 fps moments occurring often. It seems mostly due to my live wallpaper being resource hungry, BUT it does not chug on stock or in Carbon either, so hesitant to say it's an issue with the ROM but could be better.
Other little issues I've noticed is that the Pulse equalizer is in the settings but doesn't seem to work, clock auto-hide doesn't seem to work, and occasionally fingerprint animation remains on the screen until next scan. I haven't run into anything else problematic that I can think of.

Pretty sure you have to look at the regular 7t pro threads for their roms.. this is specifically for the 7t pro MCLAREN edition which is pretty much the tmobile 5g version
how does development of this work actually? The source you linked is the official Evolution-X github org, but if this is an unofficial rom, I'm a bit confused. Did Team Hydra only create a kernel that allows EvolutionX builds to interface with the device? I'm not too sharp on how it all works these days it's been years since I've had a device that even let me root.
this could be something else, but I noticed that when i restore from a backup on google, it syncs my call logs but it doesn't sync my SMS logs.
could have something to do with not having a default sms app installed? though, that being said the call logs did show up and i had to install a dialer. So, not sure really ?
I did try to wipe and try again, without a screen lock set because I know that can cause issues sometimes, no good
---------- Post added at 07:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:43 PM ----------
I tried flashing this twice, but both times my SMS didn't sync.. maybe due to the fact there is no SMS app installed by default?
I flashed aosip and I didn't have that problem, but I do love the features on your OS. Can't compare the two at the moment though I haven't tried aosip enough.
10.0.39 version ? Can still be flashed?

Thank you for your work. The ROM looks really great at first sight!
Unfortunately, however, I have already found the first bug. Every time I connect the device to the PC via USB to transfer files, it either ends up in Qualcomm CrashDump Mode or restarts. By the way, it doesn't matter if USB debugging is enabled!

I will fix it with next update. A few others also reported the same. Though I don't face the issue with or without adb.
Any luck on verizon?
can anyone please explain to me why AOSP roms have lower brightness and volume than OOS?
I confirm that this rom works with Verizon. My experience is good so far.

Well, it's very simple why so:
For the Brightness: i'll be honest, i didn't see that much difference from Oxygen OS because, well, my Brightness Is 25% or less for the entire day, but i do think that might be a Rom particular implementation...
For The Volume: this Is a simple answer, this Is because custom roms don't have Dolby Atmos and this causes the volume of the device to be lower and muffled in custom roms (to fix this you can flash the Dolby Atmos R magisk module (It has an official GitHub Page "Ryuki") and you Will have a volume Like the Oxygen OS One (maybe a Little higher, aaaand more than that you Will even have the Razer EQ!). The only problem of that mod Is that It disguises your Phone as a Razer Phone 2 but (apart maybe the Google Assistant 2.0, if you have It...) doesn't break any Google / Pixel features!

Hi, I am yet to try your rom, but look forward to. - By pure curosity, which build enviroment do you use? - Docker, or directly on ubuntu?
