Red Colour on Default Clock - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi friends
Can anyone tell me why i don't get the red colour on the number of the Default Clock in OP7 Pro please??
Really strange!
Thanks

You only get it on the 1 hours

depends on rom you are using you can make it any color k-manager comes with smurf kernel substratum is best way

Stock doesn't have the option to change colors on the Digital clock. Hopefully some future update.

What a pity!
I hope it comes around with the September update.
Thanks for the answers.

It has been answered but not solved.
And since the end of August new members will have come in and maybe know the answer.
I will not ask again.

Of course it's solved. It's very very clear. The 1 hour digits is all that change red. Simple as that. It's not a fault that needs resolving. It is as developed

With all due respect to you - you are not understanding my problem with the default clock, or else i am not explaining properly:
My 1 hour digit does not change to red and whatever i do it remains colourless like the other numbers, so if the time now is 20.49 then all the numbers are colourless .
I hope i have explained properly now.

Right, well now that's clearer to that of what you initially asked.
If that's the issue then i don't know the answer. Has it ever worked? Are you rooted and installed something that could be conflicting with it? Are you using an always on display apk? Have you tried a factory reset?

What color is your accent in settings? Try choosing a color then default ?

....and Still the numbers are all without any colour.
I tried restarting the phone but nothing - really strange!

My OP7 Pro is a virgin - i left it like i got it and updated with latest update 9.5.11.
I'm afraid of playing around with rooting and magisk etc etc.

What "Default clock" do you mean? As far as I know the red digits are only seen on the lock screen clock. The one displayed when you e.g. pick up your phone. Not on the "regular" lock screen displayed when you wake the phone using the power button.
And in your example above, 20.49, no digits will be red. It's only when one of the hour digits have the value 1 that they are red. While writing this the time here is 12.48, and thus only the 1 in 12 is red.

If you go in Display/Ambient Display/Clock Style and choose Default and click on the top right and Save, then the Clock should have the Red first number on the Lockscreen.
Well, my first number doesn't turn Red.
Did i explain well?

The first number does not turn red! Only a 1 turns red as in "OnePlus" as in 1+.

Yes, that's the clock I meant. The only digits that may become red on that clock are the hour digits. And they only become red when their value is 1. For example, if the time is 21.11 then only the 1 in 21 will be red. The minutes will NOT be red. If the time is 11.11 then both hour digits will be red. But not the minutes.
I hope it's clear what I mean.

No program, I just tried it to make sure. It is pretty much default (just got it) except for Weather Panel and my own ring tones have not had a chance to install more than that.
Also have a 750v. No flashing lights by default here either. I used the scripts from the site Treo_newb linked and it worked flawlessly. Another alternative would be using the PhoneAlarm today screen plugin.

Simple. We need a member in xda with tallent and time for us 700 series owners build The app that taps into are led selection--Grean/Red/Orange.From there a simple script can be writen using mortscript taking control of of function.like the link I posted #3 of thread..LEDUP/Mortscrip/nled script.
The only problem, as I see it, however, would be the lack of a blue LED. It would have to blink either red, yellow, or green.

We have the green blink with TB_TB_TB_ LED ledup program
What we need,
small program for red blink
small program for orange blink.
And Were good to go .I can write a script/mortscript tieing into notifacations
can you please post your notification script? thx in advance.

[Q] Change color of LED notifications

Hi,
I'm trying to set up my phone to be able to change the color of my led notifications depending on the event (or at least, get a solid light instead of the flashing green).
I've tried to google it, and search this forum as well, but every thread i've found seemed to be before we were able to S-OFF (and thus, if i understand right, permanently root our devices), so I thought that maybe the situation has changed...
My phone is quite new, and not rooted yet, since i don't seem to be needing anything requiring root, but would rooting it let me use other colors for my notifications ?
I really don't understand why HTC doesn't make more use of its led system, I've had both HTC Magic and Desire, and it's the first time I have this much trouble for my led notifications color (though i had to root my desire right away, to get rid of the bloated Orange rom, so it might have been the same thing)
Thanks to everyone who will be able to bring me a little... light on the subject
Two things that you can do.
1. Root... Cause its Awsome and you always have more options with it.
2. Install an a called Yala stands for yet another led ap
You could also try android assistant the allows you to mess with led lights. However requires root access for most of its functions (not sure if this is one of them)
I am rooted and even that does not give you more led colors. I simply use noled now. Uses the screen to notify you in what notification you have. Good app for what it is and has sleep mode so that the wife won't kill me lol....
https://market.android.com/details?...lt#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5sZWQubm90aWZ5Il0.
Bear in mind the only colours you'll get on the Sensation are green and orange.

Thanks a lot for this, i've been using this app for a day or two now, and it is just perfect. I was afraid it would be battery consuming, but the use of the proximity sensor to turn off notifications is an awesome feature. It was really the only thing my sensation lacked, and it really feels perfect now.

Thanks for the info, it's a weird policy though, you would think that a 450€ phone would include a quality led for notifications... Especially since older models like the magic or the desire did.

I do intend to root, if only to mess a little bit with roms using rom manager, which is always fun (and from my experiences with the desire, the community here have the most awesome roms available), but as I said i am content with my device right now, and since it is still quite new, I'd like to keep that "working out of the box" feeling as long as possible.

I believe it is the same LED as the previous HTC phones the colors are just a Hex decimal for the colors combos just like the missed call apk provided.

No probs. Also a fyi, you can download a few themes for those icons. I currently use big spender. There are different sizes due to your preference. I currently use the 64x64 one attached, but you can use whichever you want.
To use the theme, download and extract the theme. If your SD card has the NoLed folder, just drag/paste the folder and its contents into the theme folder IIRC. Go to the NoLED app and pic the theme, go to the colors and edit all the notification icons you use to white and hit apply. These icons are already in color so no need to add any.

[Q] Notification colors?

Hey everyone, so I had my screen replaced and everything works fine except for my notifcation colors. I'm on LiquidSmooth and I've noticed that the only color my phone is showing is blue (when receiving incoming notfications). When charging, it's not showing any color either. Think they might've messed something up during the repairs? Because other than that, they did a really good job. Thanks in advance.
well, "stock' doesnt show colored notifications, they are white. go to the settings for color notifications in your rom and change them.

Weird huh? The rom has some preset colors for when the battery is low, medium charged and fully charged (red - yellow - green in that order) but it's not showing any colors. Not even the default white color. I've tried adding my own custom colors to no avail. When I press 'test', sometimes there's a blue pulse but that's about it.

If you're thinking it might be a hardware issue try flashing back to stock and giving something like LightFlow a try. That should tell you if it is a ROM or hardware problem.

I always thought this but FB Messenger flashes green, at twice the rate of the normal notifications. I am bone stock, nothing but Xposed, with no modules affecting the LED.

Some Screenshots of the new Lollipop release

I am loving the looks, I mean the Whitish themes everywhere, that's what I wanted for so long. Just some screenshots in case one want to look how some sections look, for fun, that's all. I am stating some of my views on it too, please share yours too.
However not everything is great, I don't like how they have ruled out the scaling on the options, you might encounter one or two mi****s every now and then. I mean when you tap on option of some app, the OK, Discard etc. options have no box outlining those options, so you don't know where the scaling finishes. They shouldn't have done that. Tapping with fingers (which is and will be mostly done) can't always be precise. I have already miss tapped in some places!
I also don't like how they changed the notification clock font size, the AM/PM font is bigger than the clock itself, weird. The lockscreen clock has also been redone, it now has a slimmer font that KitKat, which I am not a fan of.
And I don't know whether this is a placebo effect or not, but am I the only one who is feeling that the in call loudness (volume) is a little softer than KitKat? Don't know, can't be sure.
The Dialler app now goes full screen, I mean edge to edge, simple change yet looks much much better
The Multi-Window mode doesn't have any small U shaped notification any more when enabled at the side of the screen, you just long press the back button to enable or disable it.
The lock screen notifications are directly tap-able and expandable, instead of dragging down and then tapping it to expand it from KitKat.
I guess you guys can use this topic to report bugs, whichever you have found. If this topic seems like a duplicate then remove it immediately.
Have fun.
PS: One more thing, I flashed the Polish version of the ROM on my Arab N9005, 32 GB. I tried to flash the German ROM first, because it had multi CSC but it failed to flash, so keep that in mind, I mean I think the German ROM is meant for 16 GB variants only.

There is no 16GB Note 3 variant outside Asia... I recall there being an issue with the German rom when flashing over to another back when 4.4 came out. You needed the PIT file to sucessfully flash from the German rom to another. This could be related.

From Developer menu you can invert colors, but that's ... all colors. At least you get rid of white.
I noticed a bug: turning the screen on isn't smooth, it looks like a two step process light up.
A missing "feature": hovering your finger over the lockscreen no longer produces an effect.

And this is why I don't plan on upgrading before at least xposed works perfectly and there is a way to force a black theme onto everything.
Okay after playing with the release for couple of hours I am really not liking it any more (except the colour part). I mean as usual with Samsung, they hurried up and released an unfinished ROM IMHO.
First and the most annoying thing I am noticing that the WiFi password (WPA) is reset every time when I toggle Flight mode back and forth. This is extremely annoying and I am sure there's a way around it, or am I wrong?
- Never mind, it's solved now.
Secondly, where is the Mute/Silent option? I mean it's either Ringer mode or Vibrate mode, but there's no Silent/Mute mode!
Thirdly, the upcoming alarm time doesn't show up on Lock Screen! What the heck?
If someone can tell me how to get rid of the above please tell me, I am mainly annoyed by the first problem though, the WiFi password reset problem.
I've not heard the password issue before. Are you sure it's not just a bug?
The silent mode is split.
You have one toggle that decides how you are notified. (the old sound toggle) Sets to either sound or vibrate.
And another toggle that decides what you're notified about. (Looks like an entry forbidden sign). All, Priority or None. This is where you set Silent mode.
If you set this to priority, you can decide which apps notify you. (settings > sound and notification) Call, text, etc.
If you set it to None, you're not notified with sound or vibration. The notification still shows up on the screen.
Be careful, as this will also silence alarms!
I would suggest priority mode and simply disabling everything in its settings except alarms.
The alarm on the lockscreen, nope. They removed it. Fortunately we can always use GO locker.

I believe the WiFi passwords not saving issue can be solved by editing build.prop (that is how I fixed it on the leaked version, haven't updated myself yet)
Look for ro.securestorage.support and change it from true to false. I tripped the KNOX flag long time ago (doesn't change my warranty) and I haven't noticed any misbehaviours.

Yes, it was a bug, I mean it was a problem because my bootloader wasn't updated. Reflashed the ROM, all is okay now.

Yes, was playing with that Interruptions option and figured that, but still that's a weird way. Don't know why Google decided to ditch the Silent mode, well at least Samsung could have kept that.
Go Locker? Well I tried a lot of third party lockers last week, didn't like any of them. I guess I will have to find a different alarm clock app which could give me an option to show the upcoming alarm time on lock screen, it's such a nifty feature to have. There's a module in Xposed which shows the actual alarm time in status bar (instead of that damn alarm icon) but well Xposed is not yet ready for TouchWiz ROMs, but when it becomes okay I will simply install that module. In the meantime I will have to look for a alarm app, that's all.
^xposed alpha 1 already released have not yet used it though. Still playing around with stock unrooted rom.

Yep mate, just saw that. Is it working okay with TW Lollipop now, I mean no more boot loop? Don't really want to try, in case bootloop happens I will have to redo all those formats and all, which I simply hate.
The only Xposed module I badly need is MinMin Gurad, can't stand ads, and AdAway is, well, complicated.

I've accidentally sent numerous SOS msgs to my sister when pressing three times the top button instead of two (to launch Gpay). She hates me for that
Looks like when you invoke the SOS function, that icon will be displayed on the watch for 24hrs, and remove itself automatically after that!
I guess problem resolved by itself... :/
