Any 8.0 ROMS for Galaxy S3 I535? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Quick question,
Is there any Oreo ROMs available for the i535, or is Oreo flat out incompatible with this phone.
Many Thanks!

What's The Latest KitKat (4.4) ROM Available?

I'm looking for a KitKat ROM to downgrade from Lollipop. Preferably, I would like something as close to AOSP/CAF as possible.
Anyone know of anything?
Thanks.

They're all in the dev section. Just look at the remaining KitKat ROMs and see which are still being updated.
Hi, bought a used Oneplus One today with CM12.1 nighty today. Changed the governor to conservative and have to say: This is the smoothest Android experience I've ever had (much better than a S6). 60fps almost everywhere.
Couldn't complain
About caf: Isn't this the special cm kernel tree which is somewhat incompatible to aosp?

Not likely that this will ever happen.

KitKat for S6

Is it possible to get KitKat on the S6? Is there any way to get kitkat for the S6? Ive seen a few "ports" of roms for different devices and was wondering if there was nything like that for the s6 in regards to previous android OS'.
Could I say.. install s4, s5 roms like the back-to-note port of the Note 3 for the s6?
The first Galaxy S6 is a 64-bit device is closed source, that means that the development is thwarted by Samsung.
With much trouble getting a Rom is based on AOSP and Marshmallow.
And the main thing, this phone has come with lollipop factory, building kitkat be a headache.

That's the way it is. In addition, does not go with the bootloader.

Samsung Galaxy s7/s7 edge. Which custom ROM (One UI) better?

Now I have this firmware on Galaxy s7: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/rom-sac23-s9-ported-rom-t3759458. Actually it's for edge version of s7, but I am using on flat version, and all is ok.
I'm looking for people who tested sac23 and Hyper ROM unique(https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/rom-hyper-rom-unique-t3808211).
Help which one is better or are there better firmwares based on Android Pie?
thnks for any recomendation

I have not tried Hyper Rom since their PIE update, but am using LightROM which is stable, has active dev support and has ton of Mods as well. You can check out HyperROM or LightROM both for Pie ports. The SAC23 Rom is not available anymore I think and also never tried it. :good:

Steps for porting (TAB S2 Nougat Rom) for Note 4 N910K Exynos 5433. NOOB

I would like to port TAB S2 Nougat Rom for my Note 4 N910K Exynos 5433 phone. I always flashed custom roms but all of them have too many features and I all want is stock Nougat for Note 4. I don't need the S-pen functionality just Nougat and network to work nicely.
I never did any rom development or any compiling but I'm willing to learn.
It would be really appreciated if someone could list all the software and steps for porting.
As I said I have no idea how its done but I know that I need stock base firmware and kernel so it actually boots up.

Question Will the Samsung Tab S7 FE ever receive any custom ROMs?

The Samsung tab s6 lite is an older model with lineage and other roms available, will the S7 FE get any open source ROMs in future?

Probably not until there is a stable recovery...
And I noticed ads about Tab S8 so yeah I'm very doubtful as developers like to get on newer devices.
However I still hope one day we will see recovery and roms

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see where the state of 3rd party development goes with samsung's latest devices in the coming years

Interested to buy this tablet too since S8 series just released and so the prices decreased for 7 series but i'm on hold because there are no custom roms available atm.
Do not want use the stock samsung rom, want a vanilla aosp rom and install packages i like to make it as light and fast and possible.
Hope lineageOS devs will consider to port LOS on this device too like they did with S6 series.
