[APP] Arc Lighting Advanced Custom Navigationbar musiclighting/Iconpack (Promocodes) - Android Apps and Games

Download (xda members get free access, will provide unlock codes to any xda member who asks)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.symetium.arclightingnavigationbar
Arc Lighting Navigation Bar is the most advanced custom navigationbar on the market, you can do everything from setting a custom icon from an icon pack of preset provided icons per button coloring it after your current wallpaper or app you use or move the buttons up and down both inside and outside of layers, you can apply a colored layer behind each button individually and you can curve each corner of that layer individually you can also set an outline around each layer invidually and you can curve each corner individually aswell this outline can ofcourse change color after your wallpaper or app you're using and you can ofcourse adjust transparency and color lightness as with all other layers, you can force a custom tapspace for each button individually if you feel it's too small for your finger just increase the space and it will be much easier to tap the button, you can set the each individual layer such as the navigationbar or preset icon to change color after the app you're using or after the wallpaper you have both on the homescreen and inside an app, if you prefer to have the wallpaper color even inside the app you're using you can do that too you can also adjust transparency and color lightness if you prefer a darker or lighter color, you can apply an outline to each colored layer individually you can also curve each corner of this outline individually as well as the layer itself, arc lighting custom navigationbar also features modes that you can create and delete as you wish, you can set a custom configuration for how the bar should look and behave inside an app you can set a custom configuration for how the bar should look and behave inside an app in landscape and in portrait, you can do the same on the homescreen both in landscape and in portrait, arc lighting navigationbar comes with various presets such as pc mode which is designed for mouse and keyboard use and a higher dpi setting simply edit only landscape with this mode and have a pc ui, only enable when in landscape, arc lighting navigationbar also features a lighting system that let's you make each button glow individually you can also adjust the glow or turn it off all together, you can have the home button and or back button and or recent apps button pulse when charging, you can use each button individually as a battery indicator and make them change color depending on your charge, you get all this and much more in the most advanced navigationbar app on the market, arc lighting navbarigationbar also comes with various system modes, if you want the best experience choose advanced mode or rootmode, download the simple to use enabler software to give your device the neccessary permissions for advanced mode so you don't have to mess with adb, if you don't want to do this simply choose simple mode this is slightly more limited than advanced more as it will run ontop of your current navigationbar and it doesn't support transparency.
Features:
- Advanced color system with multiple layers of colors that can be enabled or disabled with adjustable transparency or color lightness and or change depending on wallpaper or app.
- Tap Space customization to adjust how big or small you want the Tap Space to be (smaller is better for a mouse and bigger is better for a finger)
- Movement system for each icon to move icons up and down or side to side both inside a layer or with the layer
- Full support for icon packs per icon and preset white or wallpaper/app colored icons with support for glow and lighting indicators
- Lighting system for each individual icon for notifications and various indicators
- PC mode preset for mouse and keyboard use (try to create Windows XP)
- Modes system that lets you set how the bar behaves in landscape and or portrait in-app and or the home screen by default you edit all so uncheck edit all variants to edit individually
(note to galaxy users set samsung navigatiomode to gesturemode then go into arc lighting and move the buttons up vertically as they are outside of view using gesture mode will make the bar much thinner than normal, force navbar color to black then change the buttons to a line and push them to the edge, this will hide the chin by causing an illusion of the button being closer to the edge than it actually is, the upside to this is that you both get gesturebased navigation and tapbased, by forcing button size it's also relatively easy to hit the buttons)(note to galaxy note 10 users set samsung navigatiomode to gesturemode then go into arc lighting and move the buttons up vertically as they are outside of view using gesture mode will make the bar much thinner than normal, force navbar color to black then change the buttons to a line and push them to the edge, this will hide the chin by causing an illusion of the button being closer to the edge than it actually is, the upside to this is that you both get gesturebased navigation and tapbased, by forcing button size it's also relatively easy to hit the buttons)

Lockscreen camera icon

I just recently OTA'd 4.4.2 and found a cool little mod to get a stock Android look by editing my build.prop to get softkeys. Adding qemu.hw.hardkeys=0 to the end line of build.prop will give u that stock Android feel, as well as some good hardware excluding functionality to your device. Upon doing so, I noticed that my lockscreen now has a semi-transparent camera icon right below the camera icon on the bottom right of the screen. As well as a "cyanogenmod style battery" looking icon, that is the same color as the camera icon, that is in the middle at the bottom of the screen. They have no functionality to them at all and I'm wondering what they are and why they show up in relation to the qemu.hw mod. Not really worried about them but I'm curious as to why the quick emulator would render those icons there, being that they serve a seemingly redundant purpose. But the mod is awesome and it automatically adjusts the rest of your screen instead of "drawing" over what should be there (which is what Ultimate Dynamic Navbar does.) Any insight would be appreciated. Thanx.

[Guide] Customizable UI Themes, Including Transparency

With the most recent update, it's possible to customize the UI, including manually make a transparent/shadow UI effect!
To access the UI settings:
From the video list: Settings > Player -> Style
From while playing a video: Menu > Display > Settings
You will see two presets, Default and Inverse.
However, if you are reading this, you likely want to customize!
Customizable settings
Now, to explain what each of the settings mean:
Frame = the UI itself. This is how you will adjust the control panels on the playback screen.
Control, box #1 = text/buttons. This allows you to customize the text/buttons, and how they are shown on the UI panel.
Control, box #2 = button press. When you press and hold a button, it will have a highlighted colour. This 2nd box lets you change that highlight.
Progress bar = the seek/navigation bar. The colour box allows you to adjust colour. The flat/material dropbox allows you to change the style of the progress bar.
Place progress bar below buttons = fairly self explanatory.
On-screen button background = show/hide backgrounds for buttons. This will show/hide a colour disc (with the same colour as the frame/panel), for any on-screen buttons you may have. On screen buttons include "flip/rotate", "lock/unlock", etc.
Adjusting colours
You will see a few colour squares. If you open any of the colour squares:
You'll see a circle that allows you to select the hue.
Slider #1 adjusts saturation.
Slider #2 adjusts lightness.
Slider #3 adjusts transparency.
More information on colouring can be found on this Wikipedia article: HSL and HSV

Hi everyone,
I need some help for changing the color/trasparency of icons on the top right corner when you play a video (I mean HW acceleration, subtitles, audio, options). I'd like to set the color shadow when these icons are highlighted, so they would be more visible when I use remote control of tv box.
Thanks in advance.

[guide] [app] [quick setting toggles] Bottom drawer

I am also a fan of the bottom style of quick settings.
Phones of size > 5" should provide this, It would be very comfortable and stylish..
It is very unfortunate that H2OS is merged with O2OS and they didn't retain this panel!!!
But, We have a better alternative!!!!:fingers-crossed::good::good::good:
There is an app, whick gives all of the customizations to your hand and let you tweak..
Unlike other apps like iPanel or some ****, this app is completely user friendly.
You can select the quick settings, shortcuts, default music app, size, colours, what not!!!
It has many possible configurations.
See screen shots
I loved this app.
I am sure you too..
*Note: The app isn't what you see in the play store screenshots.
The app details:
name: Quick Control Panel
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodblockwithoutco.quickcontroldock
setup:step1: Install the app
Step2: Remove all the quick settings from the pull down (native quick setting) panel. You can retain some unique toggles which are unavailable
in the app.
Step 3: Open the app, give permissions.
Step4: Customize almost everything.
step5: Thank me if you think, I've given you a treat....
Last but not least: If you have a better alternative with you, please let us (others who love this panel type) know..
@qwen3579 asked:Q: after hiding all the Quick Settings toggles on the notification panel, there is a pretty big ugly gap left behind. I wish there was a way to just disable the QS panel.
I noticed this when I used the RR for OP3. There is not way to hide this gap or disable it..
For this there are 2 ways to act..
1) Select '5' QS tiles in the android system which are not available in The panel but you use rarely. The usually used QS will be available handy in the panel.
2). Disable the QS toggles completely from the QCPanel, use all other features like music and Shorcuts. This also looks good and saves lots of space on the view.
The ScreenShots are uploaded
Thank me if I helped you,
If you want me to make a tutorial on this, please let me know.
Here is a h2os like preset I quickly wrapped up.
Extract it in /sdcard/QuickControlPanel/backups
Will post more versions if I will make it more similar in the future or optimized.
Sent from my OnePlus 3 using XDA Labs
V2
Changed colors for more h2os-like look and added upper icons. Would add the flashlight too but I can't find it in the lists. That would remove it from the bottom row and have the controls non-scrollable (less accidental swipes)
Icons used are from the Flight lite icon pack.

I love this, BUT....after hiding all the Quick Settings toggles on the notification panel, there is a pretty big ugly gap left behind. I wish there was a way to just disable the QS panel. I'm on RR ROM and although there are some customization settings for the QS panel, there are no options to hide/remove it completely.
Move it to the bottom in the panels order and change the panel height in General settings.
I'm talking about the Android Quick Settings panel, not the app.
@qwen3579
I know This issue, should have explained you this earlier..

I'll upload the ScreenShots in the OP
This is nearly H2OSish. Ca we find any XDA friend to create the perfect drawer?
Cause this one has some bugs..
Google Play listing has been removed. Anyone got a link for e for the application
@kalinskym
Search in google for the apk. It is always available in any apk providers out there

[Question] Is it possible to modify the status/notification bar to be double height

I find the notch notification area unsatisfactory and kinda wanna restore a classic android feeling, I couldn't find any android theme or framework settings that gives me 2 rows of notifications. See my mockup for the idea, but basically I'd like to have a way to enable a second row of notifications that show icons you'd normally see in the horizontal view.
Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

[Theme] Vivid Themes Thread (previously Vivid Green)

Hi all,
I have a few themes in this thread with a few features shared. These include:
- Google Feed added to Home- Translucent volume bar (except for Full Black variants)- Circle and Square icons available in Icon Shapes- WiFi Icon changed (except for Vivid Google Feed)- Matching Icon Badges in Home Screen (except for Vivid Google Feed).
To summarize the themes available:
- Vivid Green: Applies the Velvet Green accent (both night and dark)- Vivid Teal: Applies a dark teal accent- Vivid Google Feed: Doesn't change the accent (so stays Blue for most users) but adds the features from the other themes.- Full Black varients: For both Vivid Green and Vivid Teal, there is a Full Black variant which sets OLED Black in a number of UI elements as well as YouTube.
Vivid Teal is my personal favorite (although Vivid Green looks great with Dark mode). In addition, for those NOT using the official Velvet UI update (but have installed the Accent Color change apk's), using the Vivid Green theme allows the perfect use of the Accent Colors menu since Green becomes the default accent.
NOTE: Since these themes are not uploaded to the Play Store, you will need to install using a File Manager (or app other than the default Downloads app). Thank Google for that . Also, if switching between a theme and it's Full Black variant, make sure to uninstall first or it may not work as intended.
Let me know if anyone has any issues and enjoy!
audietron25
Edit: Added "Vivid Green (Full Black)". Pay attention to install instructions as it won't work if "Vivid Green" themes are "updated" between variations.Edit 2: Changed Youtube background to full black (when using the Full Black variant)Edit 3: Inadvertently activated Velvet switcher on some devices (which is buggy). FixedEdit 4: Changed Wi-Fi iconsEdit 5: Changed Vivid Google Feed to not change volume bar (use Vivid Volume Bar if desired) and also changed notification dots to match the regular blue accentEdit 6: Removed pop-up modification (applied to old volume bar) from Vivid Google Feed. If desired, install the regular version of Vivid Volume BarEdit 7: Added V2 variants. Provides the option for both Google Feed and Smart Bulletin in Home Settings. Have also included a V2 variant to disable Suggested Apps (bottom row of apps in the recents screen) for devices which don't have the option.
Thank you
After a suggestion on a new color, I've created another theme to add a darkish-teal accent. Features are the same as above (where applicable). Don't install both of the "Vivid Teal" themes at the same time but can be installed alongside the "Vivid Green" themes.
Edit: Mixed up some files, fixed the black notifications (on "Vivid Teal" only).Edit 2: Added the accent to the same apps as Vivid Green (Gallery, Music, QMemo and File Manager)Edit 3: Added a fully black background on Youtube (when using Full Black varient)Edit 4: Inadvertently activated Velvet switcher on some devices (which is buggy). FixedEdit 5: Changed Wi-Fi icons to a more ASOP style.

Wow, thanks again. I really liked the first one. Will try this out too. Thanks again.
I've updated the non-black versions of my themes (Vivid Google Feed, Vivid Green and Vivid Teal) to add a transparency effect to the volume bar. See the screenshots below.
Edit: Converted this to a standalone version (apply from Icon section of theme settings). I've also included a version which disables the "Adjust by App" option and makes the volume bar much shorter.
Edit 2: For Velvet UI users, I've also created a similar theme called "Vivid Volume Bar (Velvet UI Only)". This makes the volume bar background transparent, removes the gradient color and to change color depending on night mode. For non-Velvet UI users, this will have no effect and you should use the other theme.
Edit 3: "Vivid Volume Bar (Velvet UI Only)" updated to v2, uninstall old version first. Day mode colors adjusted to be more consistent depending on the background. Also added the night mode popup windows feature initially provided on "Vivid Monet Green" (available on the Play Store). In addition, there is now a navbar hide version if desired. Non-Velvet UI version is not being updated because I cannot test it anymore (my phone has the Velvet UI update and cannot be reverted) but let me know if anyone wants to try it.
Edit 4: "Vivid Volume Bar v3 (Velvet UI Only)" updated to v3. Changed the night mode icons to be white instead of dark grey which improves visibility. Was used in Vivid Monet Green for a while so finally adding into this add-on.
That's nice. I'll be able to keep an eye on game on-screen while adjusting volume now. Thanks for the improvement
Hi there..thanks for the update..How to get thev transparency effect in volume bar? Do i have to re install?

Remove the old one and install corresponding new one. Once you press the volume key after applying new ones you can see the transparency in effect.
Vivid teal its great. Thanks.
Will you bring new colors? Dark + Orange could be great!
Bit of a small update on both Vivid Green and Vivid Teal themes:
- Changed Wi-Fi logos on both status bar and QS tile. Took a bit of work so not sure how many others I'll be changing. Let me know if there's any ideas on styles.
- Added colored app notification badges.
- Fixed the backgrounds of the icon selection in settings.
Since I've had a few recommendations on Orange themes, I'll make that my next one. In the meantime, there is the Orange accent from the updated Velvet settings apk which I think was posted on Reddit.

It's nice of you to further improve the ones you already posted. Using your green theme from the day you posted. Thank you for your time and effort.
Just applied the new ones. To me these look lot better than the old ones. Cheers
"Vivid Black Notifs" adds some of the features from my full black theme variants and is designed to be used alongside any theme. Apply from the "Icon" tab in the theming menu. There are two zip files and an app included:
- Vivid Black Notifs (No Navbar): Adds full black (or black with notification dividers) notifications and hides the light white pill on AOD.
- Vivid Black Notifs (Navbar): Same as above but also hides the navigation bar.
- Vivid Black Notifs (Navbar Only): The "Nav Hider Only" version will just hide the navbar (useful for full gesture navigation) while "Nav Shrink Only" will revert the navigation bar handle to the pre-Velvet UI update size. Won't do anything otherwise.
These are variations of the same app so make sure to uninstall it before installing another or it may not apply properly.
On a sidenote, I've also been working on an Android Studio template for UX9 themes. It's still pretty daunting for beginners but should help heaps in getting started. I'm still finetuning it but would that be something you'd be interested in? Let me know
Edit 1: I've updated the themes to also adjust YouTube's background to be OLED black (same as the Full Black varients of Vivid Green and Teal). Also added in a preview picture. These are the V3 versions.
Edit 2: The updated V4 versions now have the popup window color follow night mode. This feature was first added into my theme "Vivid Monet Green".

Been a while but here's some other theme stuff I've been working on. I've already shared this on other platforms but posting here as well.
Firstly, for anyone not on the Velvet UI update, I've ported the accents to standalone "Icon" packs. They act the same as themes but can be used alongside them so that you can use with any theme you like (like the Green accent). Apply using the "Icon" tab in the theming options, revert by re-applying any regular theme. In this zip is the colors in the accent menu available in the updated Settings (Green, Violet, Orange and Pink). You can install the Velvet Settings app to gain access to this accent menu but this is an alternative.
Similar to above, I've also ported my Full Black themes to standalone "Icon" packs (like the accents). There are two zip files and an app included:
- Vivid Black Notifs (With AOD): Adds full black (or black with notification dividers) notifications and hides the light white pill on AOD.
- Vivid Black Notifs (With AOD & Nav) V2: Same as above but also hides the navigation bar.
- Vivid Black Notifs (Hide Navbar Only): Only hides the Navbar (no change in notification color).
These are variations of the same app so make sure to uninstall it before installing another or it may not apply properly.

I really like the 'Hide navbar only' option. Very cool, thanks
I'm on LG G8 Android 10 update with the new volume bar, is it just me or the Vivid Black Notifs (with the hide navbar option) if I use full gesture, there will be invisible navbar that blocks some of the button at the bottom of the screen

Do you encounter that issue in certain apps? On my G7, I can't seem to replicate any touch issues in the navbar area when hiding it.
