I can't seem to be able to root this device nor install TWRP(Because there is none supported for this device). I tried manually using ADB. But it seems ADB shell has no permissions for changing system files. Also fastboot can't help much. When I tried running

HI, Im trying to finally flash Android M on my Xperia M2, but when i write the command to flash, it stays forever with `waiting for device´. I have searched and created a file to determine the access to my device when its in fastboot mode. Concretly, the file is called androidrules (not exactly, but it is his main name). I created the file with vi editor because it is the only tool that can be used to create it, and i have added the `rules´ for an xperia device with each id vendor and my user name, but it stays the same.
However, i have fastboot drivers installed and it detects my phone when i type sudo fastboot devices. I don know what happens....
Im using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64-bit on VmWare Workstation.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE? :crying:

Great device with powerful CPU and ram but stuck on Android 8.0 OS no update from Alldocube. This tablet is software locked impossible to root and not supported by TWRP and Lineage OS so I recommend you avoid it and get a tablet from a more popular company like Samsung etc.

three things I can't do:
1 insert the car logo when starting the device
2 insert the logos of the radio stations and change the backgrounds and colors of the radio
3 modify the home page (insert new widgets and change the size of existing ones)

We need more information. Are you certain that you can't identify the model number? Will the device boot into system to access system settings? Can you connect the device via adb? If you can connect to adb you can use adb commands to identify the model number.
