If you're talking about Google search bar, use another launcher instead of Google's.

The Google search bar cannot be removed from the stock launcher. As was said previously, use a different launcher such as Nova or Apex, and it is easily removed by holding and dragging upward.

It is part of vanilla Android experience. Cannot remove.
Nova Prime launcher is awesome. You can decide if you want the search bar, and what style even. You can also hide the notification bar, Dock.
