Hi all, just got the Android Pie update on my Three UK phone.
Screen shot showing build number etc.

Simply put, tapping the Android 8.0 inside settings (About phone--Software information--Android version 8.0.0) few times is revealing Nougat icon but not Oreo. Anyone had or is having similar issues? Doing the same on my other handset, the S7 Edge, is showing the Oreo cookie (as it should). Every version has always corresponded to the correct image (sandwich, lollipop, etc), but my S7 is acting weird. What could be the reason? I am eager to learn and know.
Any thoughts? Any one here with unlocked (or any other version), can you see what I am seeing, or is it just my firmware and handset?
My handset shows
Android version 8.0.0
Experience version 9.0
Baseband G930UUES4CRG3
Knox 3.1 API level 25
Kernel July 24th
I'm using V50 from SKT, running on V500N11q firmware. I'm experiencing slow charging after the update and also, weather animation is not working on my device.
AR stickers in camera also not working...
Also call pop up slider... When in call also cannot go out.
It seems LG has pushed also Android 10 files and framework with this October patch.
Hope 10 will be available soon.
Hey guys,
I'm living and working with my Z5 Dual since years and I have the latest Lineage OS with the updates it brings (old Android 7.1.2, latest and last update as of 5 February). But I am getting more and more annoyed by two things which drives me into severe considerations what to do next: changing the phone? changing the custom rom?
The issues I face with the latest Lineage Os are the following:
I cannot connect--although trying everything--my electronic scooter via bluetooth with the app of the provider (it's name is SoFlow). The app on all other Android devices I have, stock Samsung and custom roms all see and connect to the scooter.
My Wifi connection drops always after a couple of minutes when the Z5 screen is not used and the display turns off. That is super annoying and it only re-connects as soon as Ihit the power button to turn on the screen.
So my questions are now: Can anyone provide me with useful help regarding issues 1 or 2 on the latest Lineage OS? And if not: what can I do, should I switch to a different custom rom (which one, maybe Carbon Rom, maybe another One?) or should I go back to a rooted stock rom? Any help is appreciated. i know the devices is old and Android 8 or 9 is as unlikely as nothing else at the moment, but at least the issues mentioned should not be there in Android 7...
Hey One plus Community,
I recently bought one plus 7 pro from china. It was on hydrogen Os. I converted to oxygen Os soon after. Also upgraded the device to android Q with all new security patches aswell.
I live in Pakistan and am using Telenor network. I noticed network signals get dropped and come back in about 20 secs whenever any application accesses my location (say google maps, ali express, food panda or any other app that access the location when launched)
my phone is not rooted or anything.
Please help to resolve the issue.
I have a galaxy note 10 plus 5g on t-mobile and have android version 11 one UI 3.1.
Baseband is N976USQU5EUC2 / Build # RP1A.200720.012.N976USQU5EUC2 /Service provider software version SAOMC_OYN_TMB_RR_0015TMB/TMB/TMB /ANDROID SECURITY PATCH LEVEL MARCH 1 2021.
Now here's the problem, I was on android 10 and even after the first android 11 update I had no problems with calls. After the last android 11 update all calls are so distorted I cannot understand what the other party is saying. 98% of the time, it's like this. On the other chance of getting a good connection to the network, the good quality won't last. I have tried everything on the internet I have seen and have also reinstalled the rom. But of course it being on oneUi 3.1, I cannot downgrade to an earlier rom to see if problem stays. Even talked to Samsung with no help. Any ideas on this?? I believe the latest android 11 caused this to happen. Have also tried other sim cards no luck.. Anything else someone needs to help me fix this problem. I also believe the Baseband IC is not the problem. Thanks
Also their is no warranty on the phone............
