He still hasn't published anything, so we can't really talk about stealing anyone's work. Also, since he is the maintainer of K20 for MoKee he certainly knows how to manage rom development without stealing work.

Steal others' work?
Ridiculous.
I don't need to sleal cuz my source is 100% different from https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/development/rom-lineage-16-0-t3952890.
And I build full vendor partition instead of using MIUI's prebuilt vendor like the one you mentioned.
Sources are right over here https://github.com/davinci-dev if you want to claim that I'm "stealing".
Also check the screenshots I shared and I hope you are just joking.

It has been updated constantly. I hope you are joking because the main thread speaks for itself. Anyway... You do you. If you want to work on LineageOS so much you are welcome. I will close my thread. So, more time for me to do other more important stuff. I will gladly enjoy a shiny perfectly working official LineageOS for the K20 when it will come out.
Got a good news: camera is working fine.

When you say "official" you mean an official build, right?

I think that it's the developer's end goal, but is the LineageOS team who has the final word on who does and who doesn't get official label for a LineageOS port (sometimes, even good ports don't get it for various reasons), not the developer itself. I hope this rom will get official, but right now mentioning official has zero sense and is just marketing by the developer.
please stat the recommended recovery that u use for flash this rom since there are some recovery mybe not work for the newer vendor

Mine comes with built-in vendor :_; anyway I use the one from https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/development/unoffocial-3-1-1-2-fixed-4pda-t3952672.
Maybe we will build a TWRP of our own once other stuffs are finished.

What do you think about this idea? https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80077075&postcount=128
If we collaborate maybe we can get faster to official. I know how to fix the brightness slider, for example. Let me know if you are up to that.

What are you talking about? Are you insinuating I don't open source? Because I clearly complied with xda policies about open source by linking the kernel source I'm using (ask the mods; now I've removed everything because of your thread). With that attitude I don't think you are really willing to work with others. Good luck then. Also good luck getting official support considering your history of unsupported devices. I'm done here. I'm sorry for this community.

This is real quick work! Very well done. I have couple of questions though if you don't mind,
Is selinux permissive or enforcing?
Have you managed to get your hands on kernel source somehow? Or is there some other hack in place? Please let us know.

hehe chill... lets say hack is not an appropriate word :cyclops:
so basically we have to use prebuilt kernel from MIUI ROM which is still nougat. Hence, we made los14.1

rear cam is working see screenshot.but dunno about camera quality.
portrait mode should work in gcam.but i think secondary 5 mp camera is useless for now in custom roms as pixel mobile dosent have dual camera and gcam uses software based portrait mode.
wait for pixel to release dual camera phones (lol:silly or next version of mia1(if xiaomi implement new camera app) to use new camera app for miui camera.
Nice to see that there's already development going on when the kernel source isn't even published.
I might really consider RN5 Pro when it'll be available in my country. I've never owned Xiaomi before, but the cheap price and the XDA support makes me to choose it, although RN5 Pro seems quite big (I've had phones with max 5 inch before).
@Shahan_mik3 @vasishath, are you gonna publish device and vendor trees? Could be useful for other people who wants to build other ROMs (I don't).

Once it's ready we will....no point at alpha stage they will just spam ROMs with same isssues. 636 is new soc we have to do alot of work with tree.
Also fixing issues will take time as the number of users r very low. I mean super low hence less reports.
Its better to hope for faster kernel source release.xD

We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look, build, and use our code at CarbonROM's GitHub... and at CarbonROM Gerrit.
Disclaimer:
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.

Working great so far. Thanks
Great team for a great device !
So let me do my first feedback :
- very smooth, better than MIUI 10
- charging battery is very very slow
- Need to flash 2 times Magisk
- WiFi desappear after start or reboot (I would like to keep it at start)
- No need SMS/MMS app
- dark theme is not working
That is my first feedback. I haven't test radio yet.
Nice job, thank you !

I see zero problems with this. Good work gets credit and is used by others. Why would you want to force GuaiYiHU to maintain dozens of roms?
Sad to see so much hate for Xiaomi's decisions to finally open source their code for developement and sharing excitement with development of different user experiences.
I unable to test this rom, every time it get problem on password screen...... I try to use the step in the guide, flash with miui 10 or mokee rom, but the same problem, encryption from data corrupt

this didn't fix it for me. i went into root explorer and replaced the file that existed already. I pair with bluetooth and the problem is it just won't output the sound to the speaker or headphones. when you go to sound output the speaker or headphones are listed but it won't let you select either one. the sound comes out of the tablet speakers no matter what.

I think he and I were referring to a sudden influx of ROMs in development section, it happens to many devices with only couple of people actually working on a code and all others copying their code. It was always like that, nothing new under the sun.
There's no hate here and this ROM is good

Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates us more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking or ask the same question over and over again.
If you are the only one having a problem: boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
LOGS LOGS LOGS!!!!
Press BOTH volume keys + power key - it will vibrate very short. Wait until a notification appears that the bugreport is ready, send it to your mail and post it.
Alternatively go to dev options (press "build number" in "About phone" 7 times to activate it), activate the switch "Bug report shortcut", then go to Settings->Keys->Power key and activate it there as well. Long press power-key and then use the new menu item.
* [url='https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2774386"]how to grab logcat[/url]
Only if rooted:
Use this: SysLog by Tortel
If you have a hard reboot (to the vendor boot logo, not the LineageOS boot logo), use adb or any other file explorer tool to pull a copy of "console-ramoops" after the reboot and provide that.
Code:
adb pull /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops
Note: We will not support any kind of modification on the ROM not done by our sources. If you are running XPosed, Kernel Booster or whatever occurs to you, we won't support you in any way. The problem will in every case be treated as the additional softwares' fault (because often it is!)
Important note
This is a development thread. This means it is NOT your personal support thread.
Questions about anything not related to LineageOS on perseus (Mi Mix 3) will not be accepted nor be answered.
This includes topics like going back to stock, problems with third-party apps (e.g. Snapchat), ...
Also do not encourage people with such questions by answering them but report them to keep the thread clean!

Mi Logo Bootloop Fix:
Try flashing Xiaomi.EU first, and then use the Installation instructions normally.
Weekly (20.3.26): Download

Downloaded and installed it as my first after today I unlocked the bootloader. The installation was smooth and did the job. The bootloop fix was required. Thank you for all the great work you do!
How does this version of Lineage 17.1 from other Lineage ROMs for the MiMix3? What are your plans for releases/updates? Is this going to be a one and done type of rom?

I don't think so, lineage is pretty much the closest rom to stock aosp, I may be wrong tho. Anyway if you're rooted there's a magisk module to hide the gesture bar

If i press the power button (on-off button on the right of the device),

Hi, I'd like to know if this Rom is also for the 5G variant. I know it states all variants but I'm not sure if this includes the 5G models

It means all the perseus variants. Perseus is the non 5G model. In fact, I believe they only share the look. I might be wrong but andromeda (5g mix 3) is based on a newer snapdragon chip making development on perseus not immediately useful for andromeda. Sure, since it's open source you might be able to salvage some code, but no, it almost certanly (if I'm correct about them being actually different hardware) won't work out of the box.
I just recently switched from official and missed this rom. are there any updates or news?
I do hope that this will receive updates and maybe even get into LineageOS Official but we'll see we can only hope.
Boot loop here.
Not sure what I have done wrong.
Chinese non-5G version, boot loader already unlocked.
The phone has been updated to V11.0.3.0.QEEMIXM using global official fastboot rom.
Hasn't encrypted the phone, just copied lineageos and gapps, nor logged into any account.
Then flashed TWRP, wiped system, data, cache, flased lineage os along with gapps.
The result is boot looping, no booting animation, just MI with unlocked icon for several seconds, then black screen for one sec, then back to MI screen.
Updated: Without Gapps, the result is the same.
Tried data wipe, no difference.

LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed any root implementation
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless). Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
Instructions
Have custom recovery installed ( Los Recovery to be used: https://roms.cirrus-ci.workers.dev/1:/tiare/recovery.img )

Los Recovery link?
Hi @TechyMinati, please consider replying because I am interested in testing this ROM out, I still have a working Redmi Go and I would like to contribute to this ROM by helping to test it out, as of this moment I cannot test out the ROM because the LOS recovery is unobtainable, could you please provide a new link?
As of the ROM itself I am very impressed that there is an unofficial LineageOS ROM for tiare, if it is possible can it be updated because the phone already has received several OTA updates since after this ROM has made, the last OTA update of tiare is several months ago and I don't think there will be an another update for several more months so if anything, now is the best time to update it and perhaps fix a few things.
Regarding about this phone having low space for GApps, you can use the GApps Go Edition instead as this version of GApps is what tiare exactly uses and it is much more lighter.
And if its possible, is it okay if you will use the global proprietary blobs instead of the IND one? If there is no difference between global and IND blobs then I suppose its okay.
Please reply! I would like to see and make this ROM work, thank you.

Don't try that.
works great for a few days now. im encrypted, i cant use twrp do decrypt a12 files, so i cant flash magisk.zip.
i extracted boot.img from los19rom.zip, patched via magisk, transfered to my pc and flashed it via fastboot. now im havin root, with magisk hide, gpay works, safetynet passes, all is fine here!
btw. gpay worked out of the box with this rom, but after installing magisk, you need to use magiskhide to get gpay working again..
im happy like a child right now.. new live to my old phone
a few pixel features would be great..like "now playing.." i can find the entry in settings when searching, but its not clickable.. also installing pixel ambient app, doesnt help.
many thanks to our great dev abhishek!
Can anyone who have installed this ROM, please confirm if the SE linux is enforcing or permissive ? with a screenshot if possible ?

Read back 3 posts before you mate.
Solid ROM overall. Great job.
An issue:
Sometimes the colors glitch slightly, and the image starts looking over-exposed. This seems like a hardware problem, because colors look normal in screenshots (opened in the computer). It's kind of counter-productive with Dark mode, because "black" pixels stay on regardless.
Just in case other people experience the following problem:
[Using OrangeFox recovery]
I had to fully format the Data partition after flashing the ROM in order to make it work. Otherwise it just booted back to recovery each time.
My phone would not boot up without formatting the data partition after flashing the ROM.
I generally like to install ANXCamera for a MIUI camera port, which is a lot better than the default camera app. This didn't seem to work using A10, but they don't have a dedicated build for A12 yet. If anyone was able to make it work, I'd love to know how you did it.
How's the battery life?
Can confirm rom runs smoothly, a few missing functions that have been there in the previous LineageOS version.
Current known downside besides the known ones and above noted one, is that TWRP can't decrypt the data partition
Battery life seems overall goodish, a bit less then I had before but I am fine with it
