Huawei has officially announced its list of EMUI 10 or Android 10 Q compatible device. This is good news for every Huawei/Honor device owner because the company has revealed the list of EMUI 10 Beta update.
HERE’S THE LIST OF HONOR DEVICES THAT WILL GET THE EMUI 10/MAGIC UI 3
EMUI 10 BETA UPDATE TIMELINE:
Huawei P30 Pro – September 8
Huawei P30 – September 8
Huawei Mate 20 – September
Huawei Mate 20 Pro – September
Huawei Mate 20 X – September
Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design – September
Honor 20 – Late September

Honor Magic 2 – Late September
The EMUI 10 beta update will be available for the Huawei P30 series from September 8, 2019. Later in the same month, the EMUI 10 beta will also be available for Huawei Mate 20 series — the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X, and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design. Honor will also release the Magic UI 3.0/Android Q beta update for Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, and Honor Magic 2 in late September"

Hi guys
have an post in the app ''Huawei Club'' teaching how to upgrade to beta android 10 with Magic UI 3, i managed to upgrade my Honor Magic 2.
In the recommended part of the app there is a post with something written in Chinese and '' Magic UI 3.0 '' just follow the steps there, download the beta profile valid until 01/31/2020 and after about 5 or 10 minutes check for updates in the smartphone settings.

Just log out from your Huawei ID at the settings and register a new one with the region set to "Mainland China". After that i was automatically logged in at Huawei Club App.
If anything is not clear ust follow my guide.

ouch... thats harsh, i would have at least expected one more year of security updates only, without major android updates. harsh especially since EMUI 11 isnt even out of Beta status yet...
edit: hold on a sec, we're still gonna get updates, just not regular ones anymore!

EMUI 11 yes, but its still based on Android 10, not 11. I just updated to it few days ago:

I'm still on EMUI 10.
So do we think the Mate 20 X will ever get anymore updates after the EMUI 11 update?
Major updates no. So no EMUI 12 or whatever it will be called.
However, Security updates will still come most likely.
Man don't u read news ??? 50 series , 40 series 30 series and 20 series gonna have Harmony OS ...
Why u even missing some ''fake'' security updates'' ??? they don't do anything just overwrites the date that they will keep you happy ... don't be pathetic

im skeptical to switch over from an largely open source (AOSP Android) to a completely proprietary OS fully designed by Huawei... not seeing any benefits, but i agree insofar that having more choices is usually better

yes android 10 is last and emui 11 is last.. it might take time to update to harmony .. first 40 series and 30
I was trying to register my pixel 7 pro for the android beta program but it's not listed as one of the eligible devices. Any advice?
I tried the same thing earlier today. I'm assuming we just need to wait?
I tried the same thing. I have so many tiny software complaints that I'd like to see changed. I'll be checking weekly for eligibility

I believe that's the standard practice where new devices join with the following beta? So there's a precedent set.

Where did you hear this? Last I read, the A13 QPR beta program ends in March 2023. Are they skipping the QPR beta program for the Pixel 7 series?

I am trying to enroll in the Beta program for P40 pro since 3 months ago and surprisingly there is no beta program for us!!

This is the first batch only. It will come out later, but there is no point. Android 10 100% with some UI changes. Also, there will be no security updates for Android 10 pretty soon. I use nova launcher prime since day one.
