Kill-Switch, [email protected] - General Topics

Hello community,
It was a pain to me recognizing that Google killswitched the game "Broken Age" some time ago.
I could not find it in the Play store, nor in my Play Store transactions lists ... I even could not prove that i bought it before.
The game was installed on the device before, it was automatically erased from the device without info about that move!!!
I contacted google via Play Store App chatting function...the service woman confirmed above mentioned procedure (she asked a tecnician before).
Refunding was not able, she advised me mailing the producer of the game (doublefine).
I mailed them, waiting for answers....
Never heard something like that.....
Did you?

My Google Wallet Nightmare

This isn't a hardware or software issue, but an issue with Google itself. I haven't been able to purchase anything from the Google Play for over two weeks. There were some unauthorized charges on my Google Wallet Account and I went through the appropriate steps to rectify this. However it's been two weeks since the indecent and I haven't heard anything from Google as to when I would be able to purchase from the Store Again. I have spoken to Google Play Phone Service about 5 times, and they have no idea as to what is going on with my Google Wallet account. They just say they will send it up to Google Wallet and I should hear from them. Well all I get is a robo-email telling me to update my credit card information. I do. And I keep getting emails telling me that they are going to close my Google Wallet Account if I don't update my credit card. I check and the information is correct. I even deleted and re-entered the card information. When I try to email google wallet back all I get is the same Robo-Email telling me to change my credit card information. I have no avenue to go. If I could sue them I would. I am obviosly being ignored, and if they try to blame their system or a computer problem then they have big problems to worry about and should allow me just to charge my card directly or use paypal. This is killing me. I have no way to contact Google regarding this issue, when I do, they just say "I'll forward it to google wallet" and I get a Robo-Email telling me to change my credit card information.
If I delete my Google Wallet and open another one do I lose all my purchased Apps?
If anyone out there knows anyway to help me contact Google or even if they believe this is a case I should bring to a lawyer as this is clearly customer abuse. Abuse meaning I'm getting the run around with no answers, and my emails and calls pleaing for assistance from google has fallen on deaf ears.
When you speak to Google Play on the phone you need to explain to them that passing your information to Google Wallet is not helping and that you need to speak to someone higher. They will help you if you explain this to them.
As for suing them, you should just forget about that.
I did that. They transferred me to their supervisor and then a few hours later I get an email from Google wallet to change my credit card info again. A third time. Thanks for trying ;(

You need to keep explaining to them. If you put the phone down and you've not spoken to someone that will help then you'll just keep getting the same emails from them. You need to be more firm (note I say firm, not rude).
Thank you all for posting here and reading my story. I contacted them again and went through everything I've gone through, Including the infinite loop issue I've had with Google Wallet(I repeated myself over and over about as many times as I have contacted google and was told to update my credit card info via email) . The person was nice and professional (as they all have been) and said that he is within close proximity to the Google Wallet Team and put me on hold. When he came back he said that it should be working now. I checked and Successfully purchase "DrawSomthing".
This whole experience magnifys a major issue with GoogleWallet as a form of payment. With no clear cut way of communicating with them we are left with no avenue to resolve issues like this. Conversely I had a similar issue with PayPal some years ago and the issue was resolved in 3 days. PayPal has many ways of contacting them and explaining your issue fully. With Google Wallet it seemed like they sent an email to Google Wallet and it initiates a "give the user directions to handle this themselves" email. Problem is not everything can be handled by the end user. Google needs to open up a channel of communication with GoogleWallet if it ever hopes to compete with PayPal or Amazon Payments.

[Q] Google Books or Kindle outside the U.S.?

I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong forum section.
Basically I don't live in the US and I have managed to trick Google and Amazon using a USUnlocked credit card. I have the US Playstore and I have a Kindle account. I would like to know which of both services is easier to maintain its bypass forever? Like, would the ever figure out that I tricked them? And if so, would I have a chance to fight back and contact their customer service? I'm not American so I don't have any documents proving that I live in the US.
I am asking because I have had trouble about a year ago with Amazon where they discovered that I had tricked them so they asked me for official documents or else they'd close my account.
The other incident was yesterday when I restored my Android phone to its factory defaults and the first time I opened Google Books, I got a brief error telling me that it's not supported in my country however, the error was gone in a few seconds by itself.
Your help is greatly appreciated and please do not recommend other apps like nook. I want to use either Google Books or Kindle.

Punished for being rooted?

I had an Interesting conversation with a Google Play representative yesterday. After I Did a Twrp Restore I went on Google play store to reinstall the one app that was not backed up INFINITE FLIGHT SIMULATOR and it showed $4.99 instead of paid? So I emailed the developer about it and they replied Hello thank you for contacting us.
All of the app stores selling Infinite Flight and the associated In App Purchasess allow for re-installation without
double charge.
As long as you use the very same App Store account and ID as the original purchase, you have not been refunded,
you have not used any IAP hacks like Freedom or similar, you do not need to worry about being double charged.
iTunes might indicate that they are going to charge you. However if all of the above applies to your account
purchases, proceeding through their process will follow with another iTunes message confirming that you already
own the item and can download it again for free.
If a prior IAP vanishes from your app inventory, the same policy will apply. You can't be charged again. Don't
worry.
If you find that there is still a problem, please contact your app store for further assistance.
Kind regards I replied after google said contact dev about it Well Google play store is where it was purchased and it is not showing as
paid receipt is attached! Order from: Flying Development Studio LLC.
Buyer's email address:[email protected]
Google Order number: GPA.1372-3817-5722-03151
Order date: Apr 24, 2016
ITEMS:
Quantity: 1 Infinite Flight Simulator Cost: $4.99
Total order amount: $4.99 they replied You may want to contact the Play store? This kind of thing is their responsibility to resolve. I have no access to
your Play store account or what they show as paid or not. They aren't supposed to be able to charge anybody for anything they already purchased. The only way they
can charge is if the store account ID is different from the original purchase or it was refunded.
Just be sure to use the same account ID, and download to install on the device internal memory.
No reason that won't work. So I used the request callback from Google they called back in 20 seconds. After I explained the first thing he asked me was ARE YOU ROOTED? I said yes! why? he said cause that developer will do that if your device is rooted! He did REFUND ME right away but I was perplexed to say the least So BUYER BEWARE

play games: can't play with my friend

i never played online multiplayer games on my phone, so i kept my profile private; some weeks ago a friend of mine invited me to play a games with him, which is modern strike online. i said why not, but i immediately realized that it wasn't going to be that easy....
in play games app, under players>people i follow, there's no one, and i can't add no one. i previously set my profile to public, and added my friend to all g+ circles (i never used g+ by the way). if i go to the game page, and swipe to 'players', there's only written 'nobody you know is using this game' (my friend is playing it since some time now).
after other attempts, i found out that both the game and play games didn't have access to my contacts, so i gave it to them, nothing changed...
please tell me what i'm missing! i searched a long time for answers, but nothing...can't be so difficult!
anyone?

Did I get rid of the virus or what? Looking for some explanation of what happened.

Guys , suddenly at the beginning of this year, my tablet started opening the Google play store by itself always at a program called iq option. Ive done many factory resets without success even with Avast antivirus . When I looked at my Google account to see my Google play store looking for some hint, it showed me that at my registered activity, Google claims I did opened the Google Play Store and searched for the IQ Option Broker app, so the virus was acting as if it was me. At the middle of march I took my tablet at a Samsung technical assistance store and they gave me a new one ( it's sd card reader was defective so I used it to get rid of the tablet ) . With my new tablet without any app or sdcard and using an iPhone as router since I was worried that my internet service provider router could be the culprit, I installed only Amazon Prime, Netflix and Calculator Infinity from Inception Mobile and it started all over again. So more unuseful resets followed in ( I though that Calculator could be the culprit and never installed it again ). Suddenly from the middle of April to now it never happened again. Ive searched local sites ( I'm from Brazil ) looking for people with similar problem as mine and see they exist. So was an Android update that helped me or what?
1)Sorry for my poor English
2) I've already contacted Samsung and Google assistance but they couldn't figure it out.
3) I've used to access my Google account from a public pc. Ive discovered you can install apps from a PC at your tablet. Could it be a source for the problems I had?
