I've got a Moto One Power running latest version of Android P. How can I get fine volume control? Currently the volume level is either too high or too low. Hitting my volume button just once makes it go from too soft to too loud. I've looked at fine volume control apps but they're all very old and haven't been updated in years. How can I get fine volume control on my Android? Thanks,

After installing a new cooked rom I found that the volume control (when I press volume up or volume down) doesn't produce sound anymore. How can i get it back?
Thanks
Tried cm. Work in noisy environment and volume in vocal is to low. Back rooted stock and see there kids a boost button on volume. Any way to get this in custom Rom?
Tried volume plus but got what I expected.
Also tried some other volume super hack. No go.
I use a UE mini boom Bluetooth speaker with my nexus 5. The volume control worked fine with the software that came with the phone. The volume on the phone would follow the volume buttons on the speaker. Since the 4.4.2 update, the volume control seems to be broken. Any way to solve this?
Hi, just started getting odd behavior from my volume rocker:
The default volume changed is the 'main' volume control (the one with the phone icon) . Sometimes, however, the default changes to the 'app' volume (for want of a better description) (the one with the speaker icon).
This is with the phone on the home screen and I don't think I'm doing anything to make it happen.
The only way I can get the volume default back to the main control is to reboot the phone.
I'm using a Chinese version phone running slimkat with ak kernal and using the expandable volume control.
Can I stop this from happening?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
So when you press the volume buttons it bumps the volume up or down in fairly large intervals. It's really difficult to get it just right when using decent in ear headphones. One down, too low.. One up too high..
Does anyone know if there is a way to add more "steps" to the volume control?
I'm rooted.
I have noticed that in PlayerPro the volume slider is superficial and the real volume jumps between steps just as the volume buttons would. There are dead areas that are all the same step of volume.
But with Poweramp the volume control overrides the steps and truly is gradual. But that setting is buried in the app and not nearly as easy as just hitting the buttons. Hitting the buttons when using Poweramp sets the volume in the large jumps.
