Hi!
using htc hermes and my camera record the videos in MPEG-4.
Now i want to view the movies made with my hermes on my computer, but there is no audio.
i am using linux. so i think there is a way to get the audio.
any hints?
You probably need a player that supports AAC audio...
try VLC
already tried,,no audio :-(
I want my Eris to stream audio (out). Is there an audio streaming App that anyone has developed or is being developed? I saw one in the market that does video and audio but I only need audio.
TIA
Hi all,
does anybody know how I can get videos recorded on my Sensation, recognized by my PC.....Nothing plays them and I don't really want to mess about with convertors etc
Is there a specific codec I can install on my PC or has anybody developed a way to record in a different format yet?
Thanks
The Sensation records into the 3gp container. WMP12 should be able to play it.
Use VLC player - Plays anything.
Download codecs.
Sent from my Sensation using xda premium
This is kinda of a crazy question. I was wondering if it were possible to play a video (with a player that can play .mkv) through hdmi and a receiver recognize it as dts. For example if i had a .mkv video file with dts-hd audio would i be able to watch it over hdmi with 7.1? Is it possible?
Good question... Wouldn't mine knowing the answer either. Even if not.. most AV Receivers will at less simulate 5.1 or 7.1 etc
This site has some 7.1 videos http://www.demo-world.eu/trailers/high-definition-trailers.php
Can somebody with a hdmi mirror hack and a hefty processor try and see if it works on a 7.1 receiver?
qqplayer and mobo player claim to play .mkv.
I have a 5.1 setup

I have a movie on my phone, but it's audio quality is really bad. I have downloaded an additional audio file for the movie but I am unable to play the movie with additional (later downloaded ) audio file. Is there a way to do that on mx player or doe's any other app on play store support this feature?
The easiest way is just to remux the video with the new audio using something like mkvmerge.
