First you need to revert back to Miui version 6.6.10 or 5.6.11 or 5.7.13 before flashing...

Thanks It worked.
Earlier i flashed miui v7.0.3.0, but it didn't work, but after flashing v6.6.10, it worked nicely. Although i was getting some other problems too, but its now solved.

How can I enable 'Now on Tap' on this rom cm13 ?
When i enable it in google app, it shows 'Unfortunately, Google App has stopped', and then after I hold the home button, it doesn't work.

Choosing the right gapps package is important... Using latest 6.0 ARM64 gapps by OpenGapps works, try using that...

It worked when i flashed open-gapps-arm64-6.0-mini. But i downloaded aroma and super versions, just to find out 1. aroma gets freeze on TWRP, 2. Mi4i doesn't have much system space for installing the super version. :silly:

You need to flash lollipop baseband only if you are on kitkat Camera works fine

Wifi, bluetooth, hotspot, camera, all works fine.

Camera works fine, Anti Banding in camera setting must set to off.
For google play, just install Google Installer.apk and follow the steps.

It has root access in menu Security-->Permissions
But the default root access doesn't support Titanium Backup, if you want to use TB you must install SuperSU.apk, don't flash SuperSU via recovery, it will cause boot error.

Yes, this new rom is better than old

I hope the camera works, and video recording, WIFI, LTE and so on will be working perfectly.

Does any1 know if camera is working on update 27? and i dont know if it was happening with others but after install i get launcher force close all the time, so the only way to use it is by installing another launcher

Strange, I don't encounter any problems with the latest update. The camera works fine.
Nice works : free themes for download, sound tone online is official.

clean flash ur rom and install any gapps which is mentioned in 2nd post of this thread then see error is coming or not. just only only two things clean (catch + data) flash and install mentioned gapps.

At TWRP WIPE, Do not choose "factory reset: If you do not wipe system you are wasting your time - there is a lot of old gapps and other junk from previous roms in there.
Choose Advanced and check Dalvik/ART, System, Data, Cache. ONLY!!!! Do not check Internal storage or SDcard unless you really know what you are doing - TWRP backups are out there!
Choose "Set up as New" during the install or you bring in whatever junk is on your google drive. And you will have no idea where your problems are coming from!

tapping "close app" and toast just re-appears. Impossible to answer or decline call.
tapping "Mute until device restarts" causes toast to not pop on future incoming calls. - reboot and first incoming call will NOT be answered.
Solution for now. Do not set "Wave to silence" to ON.

@puma1363 I repeat - I believe your crash is the result of not wiping correctly or not choosing "set up as new" during install.

Fixed: I just edited the gapps-config file so that it included Pixel Launcher, then reflashed the super gApps and it works fine now

I think the is only a kid because he cant follow directions and im surprised he was even able to flash it in the first place...no offense intended.
PS: i didnt trust others so i compiled my own gapps for this one and it worked just fine

rom oreo linage 15..good..bat is bug wave to silence..Liang 15 is a good guy. But it needs more work. The fault of the wave to silence.. .. There was no personalization of the status bar not saport gapps mini stock and up.. Double tab to lock. It's better to use the lingap 14.1 for a very stable ending.linage 14.1 is update weekes beter and beter..It's best to wait a bit more to get the full 15 Ram updates and get new updates.

Maybe clean flashing wasn't necessary. I faced this issue when I installed Lineage OS 15 and it was solved by Going to Settings > System > Gestures and disabling call-related actions.

Whenever Im in Some App and a Call comes.
Then I grt a popup 'Advanced Settings has stopped working'.
Then I get another popup saying 'Factory Reset'
Then boots in TWRP Recovery

Fix VoLte in custom Roms [6.x-8.x] [any sim] [Jio sim ] [Roaming] [normal]

If you don't have VoLte in your custom rom, just download and flash the zip file available in the link.
I'm not responsible for any cause to your mobile, Proceed at own risk.
Method 1 - For Jio Sim
After using lot of custom roms i found out the cause of volte bug. It was the IMS status being not registered for some reason. You can check IMS status dialing *#*#4636#*#* and then open option (3 dots verticaly) in the top right corner. IMS services are responsible for calling and sms services over lte networks.
The fix is quite simple and just needs to add two separate access points for jio sim.
Under access points delete all apns present and add these two new apns:
1) Name- ims APN- ims APN type- ims APN protocol- IPv4/v6 APN roaming protocol- IPv4/v6
Save these settings ( this apn wont reflect in the list after saving, so dont worry if it doesnt show up)
2) Name- Jio Internet APN- Jionet APN type- default APN protocol- IPv4/v6 APN roaming protocol- IPv4/v6
Do not change other values. Save this profile and select it.
For Roaming (normal too,same as above with small change)
Reset the APN setting...and still if it doesn't then do one thing... edit the apn...and add ims into APN type, and click save, don't edit anything else. after save, u will see their will be no apn... now create apn manually and create in the following way:-
Name- Jio Internet
APN- jionet
APN type- default,supl
APN Protocol- IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming Protocol- IPv4/IPv6
click save.
Your volte will work flawlessly like before.

make sure you have a backup of completely working rom before proceeding to method 2.

Installation;
Open recovery and install the downloaded zip file
Now restart your mobile.

I am using Lenovo P2 and I tried it on 2 Oreo ROMs i.e Cardinal & AEX 5. Both ROMs didn't boot after flashing this zip. Just stuck on endless boot animation

Ok, the Pixel Experience Plus 9.0 (GSI build) boots now (very fast) without problem. Some issues need to be fixed ! (fingerprint and sound)

Cool. I will give a try as soon as you consider it enough stable to be a daily driver (caus it"s my mom's mi9 lite, I just bought it for her, and I want her to have a vanilla experience, as her previous phone was a nexus).

It's stable ... everything is working. Only the fingerprint doesn't work !

Is the camera2api in Level 3? or is it still in full with this rom?

Probably will support if we add this lines in build prop, but I'm not sure will instagram and other apps work with Level_3 enabled. Since phone support camera2 api at full, there is good chance everything will work without problems with l_3 ?

no there is one in the zip but different so you can boot GSI builds. It's not like the stock one.

@gringo80 one last question: what are the partitions that are safe to wipe before flashing the gsi rom ?
(In my OP7pro if you wipe the system partition, the phone gets hardbroken. I learned it the hard way..)

Wipe only data (see OP for more)
Don't wipe /vendor and /system (ramdisk inside!)

Most custom build just showing either L ch or R ch.
