There is a app on Android that can record the Screen in a video for youtube and so far.
I'm very interested 'cause I need to rec a game that is too slow on emulator.

You are interested in screencasting? There is an app named ShootMe that records screen videos @ 10fps (only). Doesn't work yet on all devices. You should give it a go.

All screen-shot apps ask root permissions bcoz of android os restrictions.

Hi, I was using ShootMe today to screencast but the quality is quite poor (well... with 10fps^^).
It's better than nothing of course but is there now something better ?

No other alternative yet I know about
But I just came across a new app Lazy Droid which is about accessing the android device from pc. It includes a feature of "remote view" which gives an mpeg view of whatever is going on phone. It can not export the video yet. You may request the dev to add video export feature.
The app is still in preliminary stage and may not be be working on all devices.
There is a way to edit the apk of Shootme to allow higher frame rate recording. I saw it posted right after the feature was added, but unfortunately didn't bookmark it. I'm sure some searching or looking into the apk could yield the answer.
Unfortunately without root this won't do the OP any good, but it may help someone else.
If you are on KitKat or above, it boils down to connecting your phone in debugging mode to PC via USB and running the adb command -
adb shell screenrecord /sdcard/myscreen.mp4
The screen will get recorded to /sdcard/myscreen.mp4.
But this needs you to have android SDK and manually running the command. If you want an easier solution, this page has a package (zip) you can download which has a standalone adb + batch file you can double click to start recording screen video.

A review of the 12.2 mentioned Samsung includes a video editor. I don't see it on the device?
There is a Video app with a edit menu item, which takes me to the Samsung store only to be told 'Product does not exist' .
Given the number of cores, amount of ram, screen size , a decent video editor would be great on the 12.2.
Does your 12.2 have the video editor app ? Anyone have any ideas why it's missing ?

I found it: Open the Samsung appstore and choose category. Then open the 3 dot menu and click on bought apps. A new tab with updates will show where you can update some of the default apps. There is also a video editor in there. Samsung watch on was fc'ing all the time for me, fixed that with an update as well.

No luck here. Found a few updates but no Video Editor.

Excuse me? Just googled artrage but can't figure out what it has got to do with the video editor.
ArtRage was shown in a video review of the device as pre-installed software. I was jesting on the "if they advertise it." It has nothing to do with video editing.

On my tablet, it is just called "Video." When I open it it has options to edit videos recorded with the device.
You may consider Magisto Video Editor, KlipMix, or KineMaster Pro (which does everything).
WHATSAPP WEB
HI everyone! I bet that a lot of us have a smartphone and a tablet, maybe for work, for gaming, or maybe just to have a better experience with a large screen device. it depends. Everyone also has Whatsapp to get in touch with friends on their phone, but i know that a lot of people wanted to use it also on tablets. For those who already tried it, i know too, there's a way to make it work and it's called "Chrome". In Chrome you can use "Request as a Desktop Site" to reach your goal but..who would like to have always open a browser that consumes RAM and battery? No one i guess. So i decided to make an app that let you Whatsapp Web on your Tablet/Phablet without the need of using a browser. Obviously it consumes less resources and it's battery friendly. Very simple.
1) Install the app
2) Open it
3) Scan the QR code with your smartphone
4) Have fun!
**PAY ATTENTION**
THE APP HAS BEEN TESTED WITH A COUPLE OF TABLETS SUCH AS GALAXY TAB S2, GALAXY TAB 3, GALAXY TB S. IT HAS BEEN ALSO TESTED WITH SOME SMARTPHONES (for testing purpose only) SUCH AS GALAXY CORE 2, GALAXY A3, GALAXY A5, LG SPIRIT 4G. WORKED FINE WITH ALL OF THEM. IF YOU CANNOT USE WHATSAPP WEB, PROBABLY THERE WILL BE AN USER AGENT PROBLEM. JUST LET ME KNOW AND I'LL TRY TO FIX.

The app uses whatsapp name's and icon just because i'm not planning to upload it on Playstore. It was an app for myself that i decided to share here with you, so maybe it can be useful for someone else. It's simple, user cannot use whatsapp without a verification and cannot use one account on multiple devices. If you go on your pc to this website "web.whatsapp.com" you'll see the qr code to be scanned. This step is necessary and allows the connection between your phone and whatsapp web. Unfortunately this cannot be avoided. This app "wraps" the desktop site of whatsapp web and allows users with a tablet without 4g to use it on their devices without the need of a Pc and, obviously on the go. The app is designed for tablet and phablet devices because it works best in landscape mode (on big screens). However it seems to be a webview problem. Unfortunately it's not an app bug, so i don't know if i can make something to workaround this issue. I'll try

Hi, more explanation on the non-exit issue:
When I hit the Back-Button, the thin dark green line in the top area flashes shortly. So pushing button seems to be recognized, but nothing happens.

Hello! Just quit the app by deleting it from "recents". Actually there isn't a "back to exit" option, but i'm looking into it. Thanks for using WW
I love this app, thank you for sharing.
Works well on my Tab S2. I have a small problem though, sending/attaching photos does not work. I tap the paperclip icon then tap 'Photos and Videos', I can choose a photo from any source yet it does not do anything after that.
There is another similar app on the market called WhatsTablet where photo sending does work, but your app starts faster and looks better!

Hi, long time ago i purchased from codecanyon a template app called web2app (because i was new to android developement) . Unfortunately the twmplate wasn't showing pages in "Desktop" view, and i needed it for that. So i spent a few hours to learn and modify the code to make it work and show correctly desktop sites. After that i customized a little the UI. Actually i changed pc and haven't a backup of the code of the app...but if you're interested in, you can take a look here:

Can anyone with a chinese model share the Callrecorder apk for EMUI 11?
My wife has the P40 Pro and I have the Mate 40 Pro.
I know she can downgrade at EMUI 10.1 and install it and then update again but she is not too much of a fan of setting everything once again.
Also for myself I don't have any option but to get an apk for EMUI 11.
I posted in the Mate 40 Pro section a while back but still no luck.
Any help is appreciated!

I use Cube Acr, and works fine.
In settings, select "voice recognition (software)" and set the recording clarity to the max.
Don't forget to give all permissions.

I will wait for now for the native recorder since it is quite nice integrated into the system(dialer, call history, contacts, etc.). But it is nice to have some alternatives, thanks for the hint.

Hello guys, I updated my photo pro to 1.4.A.0.20 from APK mirror yesterday. Everything works pretty fine, except for the 70mm won't work in Auto,P,S,M mode (works fine in Basic mode). Has anyone encountered the same problem?
Btw, pictures taken by the new version are way more clearer, and I'm very satisfied about it.

I can't find the download on APK Mirror.
The last time I upgraded my PhotoPro it didn't work properly. I emptied memory and cache for PhotoPro, reinstalled and it worked fine.
Am I correct in assuming you're using an Xperia 5II/

I've tried cleaning the cache and storage then reinstalled it again. It still doesn't work though. I think it's because the third camera of Xperia 5 ii doesn't have 70mm-105mm, it only has 70mm. Just guessing.

Haha age is never a problem exploring new stuffs.
I'm gonna try 21 later to see if 70mm is not going to show any error.
(But now I'm considering because this version I use makes the image looks so good.)
My previous version is way older than 19, how come I never get a photo pro update before Come on Sony..

Just for anyone who can't install older version after installing the newer version.
Just go to the app info, and tap on the three dots at the right top corner of the screen, you will see "uninstall updates".
After that you should be able to install any versions of updates again.

I am afraid that version 1.4 will never work because of the 70mm fixed lens.

Seems uninstallable on A11. Which is the latest version working on A11 - does anyone know? It's it the 1.3.A.0.24?
Am using the latest Photo pro camera 1.4.A.0.22 on my 5 Ii and works fine. We can't install any further version cuz it only works on 1 iv, even the icon when trying to download is different doesn't work. Unfortunately, we can't launch the photo pro with the camera physical button, it only launches the stock camera
