After upgrading to android version 8.0 sound from back speaker and ear-piece not working. When I open youtube app phone become slow. If I reset the phone it works for a while and stop working after sometime. If I try to adjust volume phone become slow.
I tried to root and install custom rom, sound works but after restart phone goes into bootloop. Tried all version of stock os using Odin phone doesn't boot. Again flash the normal version. All other function works fine. Audio works on bluetooth.
I dont have warranty. Please find details of the phone.

Hi, i'm having a big trouble with my polaris and I don't really know why the hell.
I've been using xda roms for a while. Every once in a while I flashed my rom, tried new ones and that was pretty much it.
I used to run Cruise_Radio_1.65.30.09 and some other roms.
Lately this weird problem has been happening to me. I updated my rom to a rom with WM6.5
Now whenever it restarts, no matter if I pressed reset button or if I restarted it with software it just ****s up, stays on the boot screen and if I press reset button again it kinda craps the whole thing out and either does nothing, or windows starts up again as if it had never been configured.
I've downgraded my radio to Cruise_Radio_1.59.46.12 and I'm now using PC CARVALHO's latest updated rom (which btw ROCKS).
still it keeps crashing.
i'm going to try to flash the original rom and then this new carvalho's rom
will that fix it?¿

It did fix it.
I've been using the latest JB slim bean ROM with the latest Air Kernel but since I found it too laggy for me, I decided to go back to Ginger Bread not knowing this .zip ROM file which after doing some researches I thought would just wipe all the data on my phone and loads the GB system not only wiped the whole data on my device but also wiped Recovery, Root right and baseband network. Anyway, I flashed the ROM and my phone successfully loaded GB system (didn't flash any gapps and Kernel). After setting up Google account and everything, the phone would tell me to update to new system, Android 4.0.4 - ICS so I updated to the ICS.
Now, here is my problem - power button of the device stopped working since a few weeks ago that I set the volume buttons to screen off but now the volume button doesn't work as well. I mean, the volume button works when turning on/down the volume when I listen to music, however, I wanted to flash this .zip SamsungGodic font file so I got into the recovery mode via terminal but obviously because the GB ROM file wiped Recovery, I couldn't get into recovery file. So, I checked if bootloader worked and bootloader was alive saying 'fastboot mode' but the volume button didn't work at all - couldn't do anything.
And btw, this is the major problem - when I receive a call from others, it gives me an error message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." and when I hit the Okay button, it would just end the call.
Is there any solution to fix this problem, guys? This is really urgent for me as I need to answer job interview offer calls
Please help me with this and thanks in advance!

Just reverted back to stock after testing AOSP Custom Rom
I went completely stock, relocked bootloader and went back to original latest Sony firmware
However, whenever I change my camera mode to video recording it freezes, I can't record anything, works fine in superior-auto mode
I have reset it twice, still video mode freezing :crying:
Even tried SONY xperia companion Software fix tool to revert to stock, this is really frustating
Hi, i recently installed the Resurrection REMIX rom for the shield k1, and it's impossible to connect to wi-fi as the activate-deactivate button is locked (gray) and it does not work even after a reboot, i can bring the wi-fi list in the notifications bar but if i try to deactivate it, it activates again.
is anyone facing a similar issue? how can i fix it? this wasn't a thing when i had the stock ROM with android 6.0.1 and i'm truly annoyed by this.
update: tried reinstalling the custom rom, now i can't complete the setup, and using power + volume down will not bring recovery mode to restore the stock ROM, now i'm left with an unusable device, what a nice day.
