congrats, well done comrade!
will you make the full version available to those of us who already donated in the past (for no particular reason at the time, except to support your great work)?

Full version soon?

Ok, unit doesnt reboot to recovery after flashing with the sdcard. I remove it as told on screen, reboots but i get a black screen with buttons lit up. Waited for 15min, nothing. Put the sdcard back in, flashed again but again black screen after restart.
Unit is Dasaita 10", MTCE PX5 4GB running hal9k android8. It basically doesnt reboot into anything now..
Edit: wtf could it be related to the 3.20 mcu issues already reported??!!! Like unit starts on black screen after ignition on...

Sorry I didn’t answer right away, I have a night. MCU 3.20 - bad, it has already been removed from the official page on the forum.
Try several ways:
1. After removing the SD card and rebooting, you will have a black screen. We are waiting for 20 seconds. We press on a RESET with a toothpick (or thin wire) and hold until the buttons on the front of the device blink. We release, the device will reboot. Must get into Recovery.
2. When there is a black screen - turn off the power from the battery. We are waiting for 5 minutes. We connect power to the battery.
3. In rare cases, you need to wait up to 40 minutes until the Recover appears.
4. Try to get into the recovery - press the RESET button with a toothpick - hold until the buttons blink, release it and immediately briefly press the RESET button again.
5. Try recovering to Android 6, then recovering to Android 8 or 9. - https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75664396&postcount=3254
6. 5. Try recovering to Android 8, Download the archive 3.5 (there is a bootable SD card in the archive). - https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...-malaysk-roms-px5-2-4-gb-8-0-android-t3762724
If all else fails, then you can send me a processor board (it is small, it is mounted on 4 bolts), I will restore the device to you completely free of charge. Write in private messages.

Who managed to install the firmware via a bootable SD card? Write please. I have no problems, everything is well installed. But two people have problems. Or I will delete the firmware method via the bootable SD card. I’ll leave only installing the firmware, for those who already have a factory 9 android.

you need to know which ones tried to install while being on MCU 3.20.
i am one of them, and it failed, possibly due to the bad mcu issue.
if anyone tried to install your 9.0 FW while being on another MCU version, and it also failed, then it's a 9.0 sdcard method recovery problem.

You first restore the device )) Then you can install the first 3.06, if all goes well, upgrade to 3.30. So far, few reviews on 3.30.

i think so too, but even in android 8 i had the black screen issues with mcu 3.20....even before trying to install either MX Android 9 vanilla or this Malaysk's Lite FW
so for me i need to fix the MCU issue first.
I think something is not working anymore with SDCARD method, because in the past i tried to install MX 9.0 using hal9k sdcard method and it didn't move past boot logo to the android robot update screen....but i could remove power from unit and it rebooted back to 8.0 OK. Now it reboots into nothing but black screen...

Can u Post this Report under Cyanogen Mod 7 for Samsung Galaxy S II ? PLS

Hi everybody,
I registered here so that I can post extra my report. Because I really want a stable cyanogen mod on my galaxy s2
I'm an IT specialist, and have started various tests with CM7 on my galaxy S2, and those are the FCs:
Problems when changing from ROM to Lite'ning Cyanogen Mod 7:
Installed CWM, then flashed --> No success. Restarted CWM the GUI was blue, then flashing --> Done!!!
-Huge battery-consumption
-Black screen during and after a call
-2G/3G Does not switch
-Media and general phone volume too silent
-Video playback does not work, possibly with certain file extensions
-Video recording also works not correctly
-Bluetooth does not work
-WiFi works but very lame, there are disconnects
-Some apps do not work for example Old Book of Ra
-After you select a CPU clock mode for example power saving or ondemand mode --> crash - then --> only boot screen loop! Solution: flash again
The default access points are out of date, for example ePlus WAP GPRS (Germany)
to AWLauncher
The Home Botton which starts the apps was lose, you have to look after
I also don't like the launcher it is not not easy handle, various unnecessary options and settings ...
Things that I miss:
With a Stock ROM, you can call a contact directly if you wipe in the list on the contact with the hand --> to the right, and send an sms when you wipe --> to the left, can u reinstall this function again? Its Cool ;D
Absolutly: Samsung Touch Wiz 4.0 and apps, such as game hub (I do not think the Android Market) -> Would it be possible that you can install them separately?
Google Apps & Market (I know you can not install this with CM7, but this prevents the config of mobile phones at the beginning)
Q: Is it possible to choose a WiFi connection, befor you set up the mobile phone for the first time? Would be very useful, especially after a wipe. (Bakup Apps etc.)
Incorrect grammar reserved - thanks to Google translator ;D

Breaks / Bugs on CyanogenMod 7 Nightly builds for LG Otimus Pro C660

Branched out of this thread .......
Cyanogen Mod for C660

@varoon, @angenit ...
Please check and confirm the status of the following findings on your respective devices ...
1. Keyboard characters messed up
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
2. SWAP SUPPORT NOT ON KERNEL, please install swapper 2 and try enabling it on your devices.
- INCORPORATED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
3. Confirm if HOTSPOT(tethering) feature is missing from your settings.
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
4. Choose 'external' from 'cyanogen mod settings - application - install location' install a couple of test apps from the market and check if they are installed on the external card.
- UNTESTED (I HAVE DARKTREMORS A2SD SO I CAN'T CONFIRM) !!!!!!!
4a. A2SD SUPPORT ON KERNEL EXPECTED.
- INCORPORATED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
5. On screen keyboard not launching when phone rotated sideways.
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
6. Selected input launguages not toggling when globe key pressed on physical keyboard.
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
6(a). The keyboard is back in action, however it needs some further tweaks, The virtual keyboard has to be switched off when in the right-side-up position as it is redundant in the presence of the physical keyboard.
Also while in the landscape position the virtual keyboard takes up the entire screen space leaving only 1-2 lines visible for input space, very problematic when trying to drag the cursor guide(which keeps jumping to the beginning of the text field) to the right place in the passage while editing.
Tweaks : The virtual keyboard should not exceed more than 50% of the screen and needs to have better cursor guide control
- BUG IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
7. SIM card contents like contacts and SMS'es are not getting populated(viewable) in phone book and messages. The setting for USIM is missing from contacts display setting.
- YET TO BE FIXED !!!!!!!
8. The speaker phone volume while on a call is very low, using the volume button increases the in-call volume and has no effect on the speaker phone volume,
. The sound settings however are maxed out for ringtone, ringer, media and alarm volumes.
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
9. In the 'battery use' section of settings the % and the progress bars are not matching, the bar stands at zero for all the categories.
- YET TO BE FIXED !!!!!!!
10. When you turn off the android keyboard in settings, the settings are forcely closed and when you try to go to "phone state" it closes... after when you reboot the keyboard is turned on again.
- YET TO BE FIXED !!!!!!!
11. Video Recording is also not working in the latest build.
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
12. Since Build 15, the camera is not working, the moment the camera is run the screen starts blinking/flickering rapidly with "ANDROID_" showing on the screen, this state cannot be exited the phone needs to be rebooted to get out of this flicker'y loop.
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
13. Since after builds 11 and 12 the overall performance of the animations or screen responsiveness has deteriorated with build 15 noticeably laggy or slow.
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
14. Also the physical keyboard response is choppy i'e, the instant a key is pressed, the letters display a split second later on the screen. So when one is typing a little fast, you see the letters on the screen not keeping up with the speed of key-presses. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CHOPPINESS IS ONLY WHEN ONE IS USING THE PHYSICAL KEYBOARD !!! the android onscreen keyboard as a normal steady keypress response)
- FIXED IN THE LATEST BUILD !!!!!!!
15. Wifi HotSpot connecting but internet not browsable !!! - since build 34
- TO BE FIXED !!!!!!!
Thnx,
1.- Yes, I also have the interchanged keys, the same ones.
2.- Not successful
3.- Now with build 6 I have tethering and hotspot and they work. When I used 5 it wasn't available.
4.- Well I think some of them are in the SD, but Gmail was in internal memory (I moved it with force2sd)
5.- No keyboard when rotating screen.
6.- No changes with language globe or mail and calendar keys.
7.- I couldn't say that because I don't save information in the SimCard, just Google and PC :S
8.- Yes, totally true what you state.
9.- My mistake, bars are in 0! but numbers are working fine.
If you find anymore just tell me.
Thanks Angenit,
BUT LET US KEEP THE POST SHORTER - please avoid using quotes for the entire posts.
No. 4 - Can you test a few more apps installation to confirm if this is totally fixed in your build ?
No 3 - Wifi Hotspots seems to have been fixed - Can you test it extensively ?
No 9 - seems to have been fixed in your build.
@ Angenit
Can you please test your build as my build is the 5th one.
@ Ricardo - If you are watching this thread !
@ others/anyone
Is there a way we can update to the latest build(daily) without having to replace it each and every time ? This way i hope to retain the apps already installed from build to build and save the trouble of installing 40 odd apps daily.
help is much appreciated !!!
thnx.
If you use Rom Manager and don't check nothing but Dalvik wipe (which is checked by default) you will keep your apps. I updated two times and I haven't lost any app.
4.- Yep I receive a warning from appmonster telling me I can move it, but when I go to check if that's true they are moved.
5.- Well I tested it for half an hour and it was successful.
6.- No wait, you're right, the numbers are fine (different values) but the bars are in 0.
Build 6 works fine and has the hotspot and tethering option fixed.
Sorry i did not understand...u mean...
'un-check' everything else and keep the dalvik cache 'checked' ?
or
'check' everything else and keep the dalvik cache 'un-checked' ?
thnx.
When you choose the build in the SD with Rom Manager you get 3 options. Leave them like the following:
*unchecked* Copy the Rom in use
*unchecked* Erase Data & Cache
*checked* Wipe Dalvik Cache

Hey! I've found another bug:
When you turn off the android keyboard in settings, the settings are forcely closed and when you try to go to "phone state" it closes... after when you reboot the keyboard is turned on again.
Skype was installed in the internal memory
Video Recording is also not working in the last build..
Well, in the build 7 symbols are fixed!
Videocamera not working yet.
Keyboard error keeps happening.
Great Idea for the thread.
Well on build 5 I am facing these issues :
Symbols messed up
Speaker Volume very low
Sync problem when Whatsapp and Facebook are both syncing.
Latest Youtube App, User Interface messed up.
In log: Call button not visible, only Green(outgoing) and Blue (Incoming) Arrows Visible.
I will keep on updating. Whoever is trying latest versions. please keep us all posted on the Solved Issues
Thanks

thanks, thats the least we could do
Varoon, please upgrade to build 7 a few of the issues have been fixed.
Follow Angenit's post(below) on how to upgrade so as to not lose any apps already installed in your current build. I followed the same and successfully upgraded to build 7.

THE FOLLOWING NEEDS ATTENTION
2. SWAP SUPPORT NOT ON KERNEL, please install swapper 2 and try enabling it on your devices.
- NOT YET INCORPORATED !!!!!!!
4. Choose 'external' from 'cyanogen mod settings - application - install location' install a couple of test apps from the market and check if they are installed on the external card. A2SD SUPPORT ON KERNEL EXPECTED.
- NOT YET INCORPORATED !!!!!!!
- YET TO BE FIXED !!!!!!!

Hello from Serbia
Oh,build8 already..let d`l it
Well I've installed build 9, and there's no fixing of any of the mentioned bugs... It's just like 8.
I'm particularly interested in swap and the keyboard! I don't like it shows it when have to type because the reason why I got this device was the physical keyboard.
I wonder if the developers are even peeping on this thread, if yes !!! Please drop in a word saying so ... we know that u folks will be extremely tight ... not asking for anything more than a 'word' ... and we can't thank enough for what u guys pull-off !!!

On the keyboard issue, why don't you uncheck the android keyboard in the settings (you'll however get some errors - force closea) and you are good to go san the annoying keyboard.

About device example:
Also, to restore the radio, if something goes wrong, you should be able enter the recovery.
The main advantages and trends of development of this mod:
New features.
Correction of existing errors and imperfections of the stock.
Best responsiveness in comparison of the stock + the ability for the user to improve this indicator.
The customizability. All critical changes made on my taste, you can customize for yourself or do as it was in the stock.
All changes made directly in application code without the use of Xposed framework for best perfomance.
Stability.
The stock design.
The first boot takes less than one minute.
When switching from any other firmware it is necessary to wipe the user data!
If you are upgrading from a previous version, you do not need to wipe. But it is recommended if any problems arise.
If you install without wiping the data on top of the previous version, the first boot may take several minutes. Depends on the number of third-party applications.
But be sure to go to "Mod settings" to apply the default settings.
After installing or updating the firmware, the HU will reboot one more time to complete the installation of Magisk. Do not update Magisk. You will need to reinstall the firmware.
How to install the firmware ?
If you have Android 8 installed:
Download and unpack the archive from Download section. It is in the archive with the firmware.
Root access is not needed.
Install the ModInstaller.apk application on the HU, run it and click "Install".
HU will reboot in recovery.
If you do not have hardware buttons use the pin-hole reset button. Short press to browse, longer press to select.
You can also use a USB keyboard.
Insert the USB flash drive with firmware file update.zip into the USB connector of the radio. USB flash drive must be formatted in FAT32.
I recommend to take out all the other flash drives, SD cards, modems and other devices from the radio jacks.
Select the menu item "Apply update system" - "From usb storage"
The firmware will be installed.
(You can use the SD card for installation, but it will be much slower.)
Select the menu item "Wipe data / factory reset".
The user data will be cleared.
Select the menu item "Reboot system now".
The device will reboot in Android 8.
Learn more in the video
If you have Android 6 installed:
This method is also suitable for a full recovery of HU with Android 8 or 6 if it does not boot, including even in recovery.
Download and unpack the archive Hal9k_Mod_3.x_upgrade_to_Android_8.0.rar
Insert the SD card into the card reader. It is desirable to use a small card, 2-4-8 GB.
Run Rockchip SD_Firmware_Tool.exe on a convenient Windows PC with a Micro SD card reader/writer connected to it. You must run the application as Administrator.
You do not need to switch any settings. Everything is set up.
Click the "Firmware" button and select the file bootcard.img
Click the "Create" button, then "Yes" and wait until the message with the "Ok" button appears.
Close SD_Firmware_Tool.
Copy the sdupdate.img file to this card, replacing the existing one.
Remove the SD card from the card reader and insert into the HU in the GPS slot.
Now you need to completely reboot the HU. This can be done by pressing the RST (Reset) button with a paperclip etc.
If the HU does not reboot, then this button (or the Power button) must be held down until the buttons backlight flashes. Then release.
As a last resort, you can disconnect and reconnect the power cable.
When the message "Doing actions succeeded. Please remove the sdcard ..." appears, remove the SD card from the HU.
HU will reboot in recovery Android 8.
Insert the USB flash drive with the update.zip firmware file, which you can find in the archive from the “Download” section, into the USB connector of the radio. USB flash drive must be formatted in FAT32.
I recommend to take out all the other flash drives, SD cards, modems and other devices from the radio jacks.
Select the menu item "Apply update system" - "From usb storage"
The firmware will be installed.
(You can use the SD card for installation, but it will be slower.)
Select the menu item "Wipe data / factory reset".
The user data will be cleared.
Select the menu item "Reboot system now".
The device will reboot in Android 8.

Known problem: If you have a Bluetooth module MD725 type 2, it will not work in Android 8, although Android 6 works.
The reason is that from Android 8 its driver was removed.
How do you know if you have such a module?
On the first page of the factory settings in the BT item, MD725
The command getprop bt.md725.type, executed in the terminal, answers "2"
There is a solution by replacing the module.
If you have an old version of the MCU, I highly recommend upgrading to the current version: 2.93 or higher.
MTCE MCU can be installed instead of MTCD. (make sure the letters of the current MCU matches the one you flash!)

Added the ability to call System UI Tuner from Mod Settings.
The timeout for mounting a memory card after getting out of sleep for a stock player is increased to 30 seconds.
Added the ability to replace new button codes for a joystick in a Mazda car.
Version 3.1
Magisk updated to v18.0. Solved the problem with the installation of modules.
A new screensaver has been added that displays the time and date, information from players (not only standard ones), volume level, speed, as well as temperature and voltage in the presence of this data.
To display the temperature, a CAN adapter is required, which displays the temperature in the status bar. And to display the voltage, the MCU is 2.93 and higher.
Many thanks to @zeMadCat for the graphics.
Added the ability to replace the codes of buttons located on the steering wheel and the front panel.
You can configure the actions that are performed when you press the buttons on the steering wheel, even if they are connected via a CAN adapter.
Added the ability to select a group of radio stations.
If you are traveling to another locality where other radio stations operate, you can select a different group and tune in the stations again.
And having come home, choose the default group again and your settings will be restored.
Solved the problem with a stock player that did not start playing tracks from a memory card after getting out of sleep.
Added a list of applications that have access to USB-devices. It allows you to get rid of the annoying request for access.
For fans of Taskers, the ability to assign numbers 1-9, 0, and the characters * and # to the steering buttons is added.
Intent = "com.microntek.report.event"
Extra "type" = "key"
Extra "value" = button code.
Added b-max script to reconnect freezing USB hubs.
Added the name of the artist in the A2DP application.
The name of the artist was added to the pop-up message from Music, and the frequency was added to the message from Radio.
Added an equalizer call for a long tap to the on-screen button of presets in Music.
Added the Home app (launcher choice) and Data usage (Network restrictions) items to Settings.
The checkbox "Switching folders in Music with buttons on the steering wheel" is removed, since now the buttons on the steering wheel can be customized.
Other minor changes to improve stability and usability.
Version 3.0
All interface changes are also made for screen resolution 800x480.
The firmware is completely re-odexed with optimization for the px5 processor.
The Mod settings are made in a separate application, also available from the "CAR" in the Settings app.
Removed the "red text", which appeared, if you flash not your MCU.

Android live wallpapers (the ability to install your own Live wallpaper is left)
GPSTest replaced with GPS Test Plus
Google Maps, YouTube and Gmail has been moved from system applications to third-party applications. Now you can simply delete them in Settings if they are not needed.
Also, in third-party applications preinstalled Google Text-to-speech Engine. Speech synthesis works without connecting to the network.
Synchronization of Contacts and Calendar is added.
Time Zones updated to the latest version.
The built-in Contacts application is enabled.
Allowed to install applications not from the Play Market.
The Daydream functionality is enabled. This allows you to install any screensaver from the Play Market without stopping at one.
By default, the Clock screensaver from Android is selected. Color can be changed.
Any third-party screensaver is turned off under the same conditions as the standard one (touching the screen, switching cameras, etc.)
Android screensaver can be turned off, then the standard screensaver will work.
In the Bluetooth application, the name field is enlarged in the phone book. Added the recognition of the OBD adapter based on the settings so that the system distinguishes them from the phones and works with them correctly.
It is necessary, if your adapter does not have the letters OBD in the name.
In the Video application, the playlist is enlarged.
Repeat is disabled by default.
In the Music application, the playlist is enlarged and the repeat is disabled by default.
Instead of a spinning plate, a square fixed cover is made,

Added a white list of applications that do not close when going to sleep, with the ability to configure.
The number on the volume control is increased and made white.
Added hidden item "Developer options" in settings.
The Status item is added in Settings - System - About machine.
Added the ability to disable some statusbar elements.
By default, the Home button, the Volume, Eject and Brightness icons are disabled. The Back button is moved from right to left. Everything can be configured in Mod settings, as it was in the stock or in another way.
The possibility of OTA-updates is added.
Added the ability to lock device as a regular Android device.
The lock is turned on after rebooting or exiting from sleep.
You can also turn on the lock after the Android screensaver has triggered or manually from the shutdown menu.
Sorting in alphabetical order case insensitive of all lists in players is done.
Added pop-up messages showing information about the current radio station and music file. It is possible to set the font size and the duration of the messages.
The audio player goes to the next folder in the list after the playing the last file in the current folder in the sequential play mode.
Added a request for a name for the button of the stored radio station.
Added the ability to choose from eight screensavers. Pictures here.
Added the ability to turn on/off the fullscreen keyboard.
Added the ability to turn off the restarting applications that worked before going to sleep.
In the application "Wheelkey Study" added actions "turn off the screen backlight", "recent applications" and "F-Cam application".
In third-party applications preinstalled "sound improver" ViPER4Android FX by @Team_DeWitt.
In the OEM folder - added 6 launchers and their widgets (AY, GS, HCT2, HCT3, KGL, ZH). How to install and choose a launcher?
Run the ApkInstaller application, Install > OEM > AY (for example) > install Launcher3AY.apk > ... > done.
Press Home - the query "Use Laucher3 as Home" appears, and below it is written "Launcher3AY".
Choose "Launcher3AY" and click "Only now" or "Always". In the latter case, this question will no longer be, a new launcher will always be used.
Unfortunately, Android 8 does not allow third-party applications to automatically create widgets.
Therefore, if there is a desire to install widgets from some launcher, we do this:
We put APK widgets and launcher. Add any widget and give permission (see screenshot).
Then remove the launcher and install it again. Or clear the launcher's data.
In audioplayer - added a jump to the previous / next folder on the seekdown / seekup steering wheel buttons and a on the long tap to the prev / next screen buttons.
Added folder name display to the pop-up message when switching between folders.
Made a list of navigational apps that muffle other sounds when playing voice prompts.
The list should include all navigation applications, including the one that is set by default to the Navi button.
Added the ability to hide storage icons in the statusbar.
Made a list of applications that allow the screen saver to be started.
You can add a third-party launcher or player to it, for example.
Added the ability to switch tracks in third-party players using the steering wheel buttons for owners of CAN-adapters for Mercedes cars, etc.
Made a list of applications that are restarted after sleep.
I included the PCRadio application in it. Now it always starts playback correctly after exiting sleep, if it was started when HU go to sleep.
In PCRadio's settings, you must enable the "Resume playback when application starts" switch. Also it is necessary to remove it from the whitelist if it was added to it.
Added a volume control in the style typical for AV equipment from the 7floor module
Added the ability to display the volume control at the top, middle or bottom of the screen.
Added the ability to adjust the time during which the volume control remains on the screen after changing the volume value.
Added the ability to list applications that should not work simultaneously.
This list is an extension of the corresponding system list. So only third-party applications should be included in this list.
If one of the applications included in this list is launched, then the rest are closed.
That is, for example, if you include PCRadio to this list, then it will close when you start the stock Music or Radio. And vice versa.
Added the ability to move the statusbar to the bottom of the screen. (Experimental option.)
Changed the logic of the name request for the button of the stored radio station.
If the name for the stored frequency is not specified earlier, text from the RDS is suggested.
Added ability to edit the list of applications in the carousel that are switched with the Mode button.
Added the ability to replace applications that run instead of stock. You can have your radio button launch PCRadio etc.
Added speed dependant volume control.
Added color selection in the HCT screensaver
Added a modified MTCDialer from @f1x that works on this firmware.
Other changes aimed at improving stability.
Ideas of some improvements are taken from the module xposed-mtce-utils and other modules with the permission of the author, MVG-V70. For which I thank him very much.
But they are implemented without using the Xposed framework.
EasyConnected from the stock ROM
Backlight autolevel (brightness control on GPS time)
Internet Speed Meter StatusBar Widget

Last month I got a replacement PX5 SoM from Witson and had to rebuild my whole system. What a pain that was, especially all the iGo maps for the entire USA. I'm away from my head unit for a while but when I get back to it I'll be sure to check out your new ROM.
Thanks for the work on this.

Great news, @Hal9k_ !!
Yes, please if someone could provide the exact procedure of migrating from Malaysk 2 to Hal9k Rom, actually, the right question is: Is it possible to migrate without wiping of user data?

You can try to migrate without wipe. Just skip wipe data paragraph.
But I have not test this case.

this needs to be flashed on its own. its a full MCU update. and there are multiple (GS,HA,LM,MX etc.) so it cannot be included in a ROM.

Before installing the firmware, be sure to try to get into the Recovery (I have this method - I press the RESET button (RST) and hold the buttons on the front panel of the device until the buttons blink - I release the RESET button and immediately press the RESET button again for a short time 1-2 times ).
IMPORTANT!! : You cannot change the firmware versions in the system partitions - System, Vendor, ODM and Product (this is due to the fact that in 10 android these sections are dynamic and protected by the android itself from changes)- otherwise you will have a BLACK SCREEN after reboot and you will have to go to RECOVERY and reinstall the firmware from there (you can without deleting the data).
How do you know if your device is suitable for this forum thread? You can see the device in Settings - System - About device: look at the photo

Hello master,
I updated my PX30 android 9 with mod installer (from Hal9k)
I had to flash a stock android 10 rom first and let it boot (your zip was aborted with mod installer on android 9)
All is fine, I'm updating OTA paid version now.
For other users, why don't you build your own recovery to update from 9 ? (just a suggestion to update more easily and if it's possible ! :fingers-crossed: )
Thank you for great work again :good:
Sorry for double post.
After 2 days , its great rom , I really like your Mal dark launcher :good:
I have 2 problems for now :
1- no FM or AM signal (I checked everywhere my antenna is ok, I don't understand)
2- no mp3 pictures with music player. Tags are oK with songs and artists but no pictures. I downloaded Poweamp and it's perfect ( Stellio or default player from plastore don't even see mp3)
Good job
Edit: problem with volume bar too. When higher than 9, it shows only 1 instead of 10 11 ... see pic
I'm so grateful that I found this ROM!
I upgraded my ISUDAR from the stock Android 10 to your ROM few hours ago. The option to upgrade didn't pop up after inserting the SD card but it was possible to upgrade through recovery. I was a bit nervous, but it worked no problem.
My main reason for trying an alternative system was the fact that the stock is really slow, especially Spotify and Google Maps. After the upgrade, I think everything became about twice snappier. Still not 100% ideal, but way better and more usable (honestly, I regret not buying PX5, I wasn't informed).
As for hardware, I haven't found any problems. Audio works, Bluetooth works, WiFi works, GPS works, Steering Wheel buttons work (next and previous song button is swapped but that's okay, I can remap it, same problem with the original ROM). I can't test FM reception yet because my antenna is not connected (I have a Ford and haven't bought the FAKRA pigtail yet) .
I need to test it more but I think I will buy the full version from you!
Nice work!
Hi,
I have another problem with BT calls, when I call someone, discussion starts and 2/3 sec later I have black screen and bootloop
I checked BT in factory settings, the only one works is SD-BC6
BTmusic is working as it should, BT connection is ok, I don't understand
Hi, I installed the lite version so far. The ROM works fine. I have two or three issues.
1. The parking radar display does not work at all. I'm not using backup camera, I'm only using the parking radar display with the parking sensors and it does not show.
2. The Bluetooth app has a delay, when you dial it takes a few seconds untill the phone actually starts dialing.
3. When you are in a call and you have the green phone icon flashing in the down right corner, the touch screen is not responsive in the lower part.
The last two issues are common with the stock rom also. Can they be fixed?
So for the ROM feels smoother than stock A10, haven't tried bluetooth yet since I use CarPlay so I wonder if the other issues reported would also occur.
Possibily will purchase the full version too.

Nice! Than you very much. What about the Parking radar display? Is it possible to have a proper Canbus app with a proper park pilot image in full screen. For now the parking radar image with the parking sensors appears now and then.
I must report that BT Calls bug was my fault ...
Not really but the problem was my SDCard ! when I inserted my 16gb sdcard in "GPS" slot and configured "only for media and transfers", then bug was appearing and when I started a call, 2/3 sec later, unit reboots.
I found if I move my sdcard to 2nd slot (ext-sd) then I can make calls without any problem :cyclops:
So I don't know if my sdcard 16gb sandisk is buggy (it works fine on 2nd slot) or if it's bug with config sdcard program in android10
:victory:

Hello I don't know
Yesterday, I had big issues when unit restarts itself after lots of popups " system not responding" or rebooting when I started to listen music, I tried to remove sdcard (w or w/o, it was the same :silly: ) I wanted to try MTCDialer but it was not a good idea
So back to android9 and waiting patiently for next update :fingers-crossed:
Finally my sdcard is not in fault and is working as it should in A9 (with mp3 tags) :good:
Hello Everyone,
I installed the LITE version and it is working perfectly except the mobile stick. I tried 3 different sticks with the same result: the signal strength icon showed up on the notification area and then dissappeard. (these sticks was working with the stock android 10 roms)
Is this a LITE version disability?
Online update of the full version 1.1 from 2 December 2020
1. Added 5 attempts to initialize WiFi every 20 seconds with network availability check
2. Added forced activation of disabled WiFi SSIDs, device why it periodically sets the working SSID status Disable and automatic connection does not occur.

6. Redesigned algorithms to run ScreenSaver. It will not start when the rear camera is turned on.

10. Added a new equalizer. You need to install it from the OEM application from the EQ_DSP folder.

Hi,
I installed the latest full version. The system did not boot at the first boot, it went into recovery and asked for a factory default. I did the factory reset and the system eventually started. There are a few issues:
1. it seems sluggish, it doesn't seem as fast as the lite version.
2. The unit does not go into autosleep, even if it is set to go into autosleep. This is very annoying.
3. Every time the system boots, it doesn't see the usb. I have to unplug the data stick and reconnect it in order to make it visible to the system.
4. At every boot it doesn't keep the mod settings. For instance, I set it to hide the status bar, but after the boot it is not hidden, even if the setting is set to hide it.
5. The issue with the Bluetooth call is still present, when I try to make a call it takes seconds until it actually starts making the call.
6. Please fix the issue with the lower part of the touch screen, wich is not working during the calls.

Beta updates thread #ColorOS 13 #OppoFindX5Pro #OppoAmbassadors

Hi guys just making this thread to keep everyone as up to date as possible on the ColorOS 13 and what to expect. I'm currently downloading the beta firmware that's been released to the Ambassador's possibly to more users outside the ambassador program so here's the current file size and change log. Any questions fire away.
After 24 hours or so later from installing the beta I have noticed a few slight issues nothing show stopping so far so here's slight run down of things I have found so far:
1. Google Wallet:
Due to this being Beta firmware you are given this error,
I have yet to test to see if contactless payment might actually still work despite the warning message but I do plan to test it anyway.
2. Brightness issue:
After installing the new Beta I noticed that when the device was booting up the screen was lovely and bright. However as soon as it gets passed the boot animation all of a sudden the screen got really dark to the point that even screenshots became dark as well note the warning image above. After some digging about in the settings menu I came across an option within the dark mode settings called "Reduce contrast in low-light conditions". After i disabled that option the screen brightness and screenshots returned to normal again.
3. The Power Menu:
With this new update the power menu has changed quite a lot when you press the power button or the power + volume up depending on your setup you will no longer see the the Emergency, Restart or Power off buttons at the top. What you will see now is a sliding option in the middle of your screen to Restart or Power off. However not sure if it related to my first point but i no longer have options for quick access to my contactless payment options. Hopefully once the official version gets released having quick access to my payment options will return
Before:After:
Can you check these things for me?
1. Does ColorOS 13 allow hiding lock screen pattern? It's not there in ColorOS 12 despite being a feature in stock Android since forever.
2. Go to App info of Google Drive, then Open by Default. Does it have the option to turn off 'Open supported links'? It's there in stock Android 12 but not ColorOS 12. An example is provided below.
3. When you use App drawer mode (App drawer seperate with Home screen) and long press a user-installed app icon, does it allow uninstalling, or just removing the shortcut? I can do this in OneUI and OxygenOS 10 but not in ColorOS 12.
4. In App Drawer, when pressing the three dot icon above an app, does it allow going to 'App Info' of that app? Again, I can do this in OneUI but not ColorOS 12.
(the top option is App info)
These little things have been bugging me since updating to 12, so really appreciate if you can confirm if they have fixed them in ColorOS 13
I update to for android 13 and the phone is hot in idel and the battery drain fast
I have a question about the new version. Did they change how notifications behave on the lockscreen? At the moment notifications dissapear from the lockscreen in these scenarios:
- after you unlock and lock your phone, notifications disappear
- after a while (say 5 to 30 minutes) notifications dissapear from the lockscreen after having unlocked the phone.
All oppo, realme and (since oxygen 12) oneplus phones have this behavior.
I want to know if all notifications stay on the lockscreen no matter how many times you unlock your phone or how many hours they have been sitting there.
Any update to our questions?

I will wait up to an hour to see if it goes away!

Does this mean it automatically chooses the strongest? Or does it mean it automatically goes to 5G settings?
Second beta works perfect
Few days ago i sign up for the beta tester, yesterday evening i got notification for update to 13 beta.
Excited at first but after reading known issues (2nd beta) one of them is "laggy in some situation" i decided to stay at 12 and waiting for the stable version of 13.
Then i wake up this morning, open my phone then realize it has been automaticly updated overnight -_-
I use my phone looking for new features and functions for about an hour, didnt find any bugs except for the universal search in app drawer is not working. Turn that off and now the search function is working properly. Google wallet is not popular around here so i dont use them. So far i like the looks of the new ui.
Gonna update here if i found other bugs, the phone feels a little bit slower tho (barely noticable, 0.xx second slower), hopefully due to the phone still processing updates and optimization of the new os.
