Problems with dual sim operation. - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Ever since I started running two sims I've had issues. Sometimes when I'm in a deadzone for a while and come back the settins switch the data sim to SIM2 from SIM1, and sometimes one of the cards goes dead saying no signal and takes either airplane mode or deactivating and reactivating the sim to get it to find signal again.

[Q] Sim card error in non-LTE zone on Cyanogenmod

I've been getting a sim card error on both CM10 and CM10.1. Under 10.1 when I wake the phone it will give me a pair of pop-ups telling me that I need to enter a valid sim card and restart, and until then it says I can only make emergency calls. If I back out of these boxes it works fine. It was a similar message on CM10. I tried removing and reinserting the card with and without rebooting, and have read loads of threads of people with the problem but no mention of LTE zones.
I realized that this only happens when I'm at work,in a non LTE zone. When I'm at home in an LTE zone I don't get the error. Data still works at work but often the boxes keep popping up. I've selected data roaming, LTE/GSM/WCDMA, and ATT LTE pta.
Is anyone else having the issue going between LTE and nonLTE zones?
Bump. Has anyone else noticed a sim card issue going between LTE and non-LTE areas?

[Q] Network Drop Problem

Occasionally, during a call, the call will get disconnected and the network for the sim that was in call would get switched off, followed by the other sim. Toggling airplane mode brings back the network. This was more prevalent in MIUI, and after switching to CM12.1, it has become less frequent. Does anyone else have this issue?
Yeah
It is a issue with your SIM/mobile network.......................Mine has the same issue , but not with the phone . It is the sim card causing issue on all my phones

sim tray and network not working properly

a few days ago I switched from cm to AEX 7.1.2 on my moto g. Whether that has anything to do with it I don't know.
Anyway last night the phone was working fine then this morning I see that the cell network is disconnected and the phone doesn't see the simcard. However when I put in another simcard from a different network it works normally. I switch back to my sim and it works for about 20 seconds where I can make a call or text then it shuts down again and dowsn't recognize the sim then does again once I have switched the sims but only for 20 seconds. I don't understand what is happening to the phone and why it is doing this. I need help. I have tried picking different network modes from the list after inserting this code #*#*4636#*#* nothing has worked so far. I haven't systematically gone through each one at a time yet and the list is quite long. I haven't seen a list of modes that long before there are over 10 of them from auto prl to scdma etc... Some of them I have never heard of like the scdma one. wif and bluetooth are working ok if that means anything. Thanks for any help
Also when I go into settings the network section is greyed out and under prefered network type it says Invalid Network Mode (-1) Ignore. I only tried changing the modes when this problem arose my changing these modes was not the cause
i've had similar issues, when i skipped using mobile data for a long time, my non-data SIM would dropout intermittently. i changed SIM slots didn't solve it either. other SIM was fine in either slot. just before replacing what i thought was a faulty SIM, without turning mobile data on, i just set the problematic SIM for data. that solved mys issue. however, running mobile data on back on the original setting didnt cause any more issues either.

No netwok/Emergency Call only

I was traveling to and from US and India. 2 Days back when I entered London airport for US, my mobile did not show any signal what so ever. It was no service. It was working fine when i boarded the flight in US.
Now following things I have tried according to my knowledge
1. I tried disabling the sim card, changing from 2g-3g- 4g. No improvements.
2. I went to menu by *#*#4636#*#*, and trying radio on and radio off. Nothing
3. I suspected that antenna is damanged and it hardware problem.
4. But then this wired thing happend, while playing around when both the sim are active, I turn of the sim one, the mobile data is switched back to second sim. Then when i again switch back the sim 1, it is automatically configured for 2g. It gets signal, I can make calls and it works good. Moment I switch the mobile data to that sim the network vanishes and back to no service/emergency calls.
5. I figured that there is some problem with the sim, so I inserted that sim into old samsung grand mobile which 3G phone. It works flawlessly.
6. Tried other sims in the moto G, 4g dosent work for some sim cards.
7. By reading on I found that lot of people have this problem and have solved it by flashing firmware. I tried that too. Tried stock rom, new osprey 7.* Nothing seems to be working.
Any thoughts and comments are welcome. I am kind of frustrated by this small bug. Might be lapse on motolora part. If someone is still active in this community please help, reply.

No Service after turning on Mobile Data

I have a network issue with my OnePlus 8T. Whenever I enter an area that doesn't have great signal, if my phone connects to 4G, I completely lose all signal and the phone will read "No Service" or "Emergency Calls Only". The best thing I can do is toggle Airplane mode or restart the phone to fix it. The issue does not occur if I set my phone to 2G/3G only. My phone will have signal absolutely everywhere, there isn't a spot that I know of that doesn't get reception. However, the moment I tap "Mobile Data", if the phone connects to 4G and the signal isn't 50% or better. My phone just loses all network on the spot and refuses to return unless I do the two things I listed above. I've been in contact with my service provider, tried swapping SIM slots and cards, reset my network, verified APN is properly setup. Just about everything by now. Does anybody know of a possible solution to this?
