Hi,
Does anybody has an idea why touchscreen can not work?
I ordered a new (https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/32867000482.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2b3d33edjsIOsy) touchscreen after my was not working (my old was orange and i wanted black so there where two reasons), changed it, everything seems to be working except touchscreen.
But i changed the screen completely, how this can be?
I also used this instruction(https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/watch-2/rom-huawei-watch-2-bt-leo-b09-leo-bx9-t3616779) and flashed everything and then flashed this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/watch-2/rom-huawei-watch-2-bt-leo-b09-leo-bx9-t3616779) ROM. But nothing changed.
Can this be some hardware problem in something else?

but none of them works..!!
any help!?
I think I'm having the same problem as you.
Everything ok but the screen is dark but still working?
I've tried the same as you and also took the phone apart and reseated all connectors and still have the problem.
It seems similar to the Diamond issue but the solution hasnt helped.
If you fix it please let me know
if your back light wont come on, its most probably that your ribbon has broken somewhere
Same here..
I've got this problem too.
Sometimes the backlight is ok, for like half a second.
I'm gonna disassemble my Touch Pro tonight, hopefully I'll find something what will fix this problem.
I got this Touch Pro for like one month now, and I dropped it once.
I have no idea how I got this problem(I guess because I dropped it..)
i had this happen to me before. i would go to power options and move the slider of the brightness and it will correct itself, after a while it is not happening anymore.
I had Toshiba G900, and currently has Qtek S200 and this horrible TouchPro. Only one month old TouchPro changed completely my opinion about HTC. Backlight does not work properly and it goes away completely. I change from official WM6.1 to Energy WM6.5, but problem still not resolved.
I've been having a reoccurring freeze issue with my HD2 no matter what build I am using. On the initial first time startup everything works fine until the display goes to sleep. Once it does, the touch pad freezes. Hard buttons still work although don't do anything since it's stuck on the lock screen, and even if I soft reset or reflash anything, the problem persists.
Not even disabling the lock screen helps. Even if I install lock screen disabling apps (I've tried them all), the touch screen is still non-responsive when I wake the display.
Whether I use stock winmo, custom winmo or android (NexusHD2 gingerbread 2.3.4 as of late, but I've also used the old Desire Android 2.1) makes no difference; neither does reflashing HSPL, radio, ROM, Recovery CWM, reformatting SD card, fixing file permissions or even performing Task29. I've even restored everything all the way back to stock winmo which didn't work, so I performed every step along the road to getting back to Android. No success. I'm at a loss because I've tried every solution I have found online in just about every order imaginable.
There has to be some solution to this issue and I'm hoping that SOMEONE out there will rescue me. It's been a problem since I first got the phone and although even once in a while it will work for no apparent reason, it has been in this status for some time.
PLEASE help. I'm tired of paying a bill for a phone I can't use.
It's most likely a hardware problem. Your digitizer has most likely went out, I'm not a pro but it happened to me before.

Is the digitizer easily fixable or would I need to replace it? Or would it just be overall cheaper to replace?
Hello xda dev!
I bought a used One S z520, the seller said it's in very good condition, and there are no problems with it. When I finally got it, i noticed, that it really is in a good condition, no signs of use, the screen is clear, no scratches, even the outer shell shows no signs of use.
I turned the phone on, and wanted to connect to WiFi, but the keyboard wouldn't work on the left side (Q, A, Z, Shift etc). Then I noticed the touchscreen is dead on the whole left side. So I used ScreenTouch Test to determine where the dead spots are. And, well...
<PLEASE CHECK PICTURE IN ATTACHMENT>
This seemed very strange, because it doesn't look like these are random dead spots, but more like the screen calibration is way off... I tried resetting the calibration, but that did nothing. Then I went to the bootloader...
The bootloader was "LOCKED", but the phone was s-off and SuperCID'ed, yet it still was using a stock rom, which seemed strange to me, like someone did a hackjob returning the phone to a stock state for selling...
So here is my question: is it possible, that someone installed something wrong (I don't know, firmware, kernel, anything) and I can repair the touchscreen by replacing some part of the software? Or is it a hardware problem, and the touchscreen is dead and I should return the phone to the guy? I would much rather make it work, not go the easy way of returning, but if that is impossible...
A couple weeks into using my new nexus 5, half the touch screen stopped working (if you really had to, you could still press buttons by pressing the thing really hard). It seemed like it was a hardware issue so I unrooted and wiped the device with this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701
with the intent of returning it. Part of this process involved TWRP (where there are touch controls), and the problem occurred even there. (to me, that seemed to confirm it must be a hardware issue).
Now after everything is factory-reset, the touch screen has magically started working again. I'm extremely confused how this could have happened. My best guess is that the issue was intermittent and i accidentally jiggled the phone in a certain way to make it start working again.
Does anyone have an idea what could have happened, or how I could stress-test things to find out? If it is indeed an intermittent issue and the phone needs to be replaced I'd like to do that ASAP because I'm leaving the country and dealing with warranty will be difficult from overseas.
Hello,
I've got new LCD for my OPO and it randomly goes dead. However, touch, sounds, even backlight (it's not pure black, it's illuminated) works fine. I've got just black screen. When I do reboot, it works normally. Also, I've installed another rom, so it's not software problem, thus it's probably some hardware reason. What I can check in the first place?
thanks
