I have tried some of the custom launchers as Nova Launcher, Lawnchair launcher, cpl.. ( I feel these applications are better than oneplus launcher and also supports doubt tap to lock under pie accessibility settings ).. all these launcher works fine but while opening some apps.. it opens instantly without app opening animation..
This issue doesnt noticed in other AOSP OSs..
It seems a bug associated with Oxygen OS,
Does any one noticed the same??

I got launcher pro installed as a system app with proper permissions and it runs fine.
Only problem is that if you try to change the dock shortcut or add an application shortcut via the widgets menu, it will FC.
Any one get LP working 100%, am i missing some libraries or a different install procedure?

I am having the same problem with ADW Launcher
Same problem with LauncherPro on rooted Nook Tablet. Can add widgets with no problem, but selecting "Shortcuts" immediately brings up error window. This pretty much makes the launcher app worthless.
Ok, So I use Go Locker, and i disabled the homekey during lockscreen for security. But I have a problem that I use Nova Launcher, and sometimes when i have apps i sometimes swipe away the launcher, its a bit annoying is there a way to stop the launcher from getting in to recent app list where you switch apps and stuff. I am running 4.2.2. My launcher is Nova. I tried Keep Alive thing in romtoolbox pro app but that doesn't stop from launcher from appearing in the list.

On KK roms I've been using app "Tile icon Maker" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tileiconmaker), where I had more than 20 widgets placed on nova Launcher homescreen... and it looked beautiful.
then I installed CrDroid 5.02, I can make the same look, but after some time Nova Launcher starts to report errors that widgets stopped working. So I had to delete the widgets/tiles and deinstall the app. It looks like some kind of memory problem?
The app itself is no longer supported.
Does anyone know of a similar app?
I don't want to migrate to some of the available W7 launchers, because Nova is the best.
After Updated to android 11 i am facing the problem for switching Home Launcher. Whenever I try to install the NOVA Launcher At the end of installation, a message box popped out stating "App is not installed". After several tries and re-downloaded and still the same issue.
Before updating (on Android 10) my default launcher was NOVA Launcher Prime, but after update it change to Oneplus Launcher and the NOVA launcher was missing from my App drawer and also in Apps. Please help me to solve the problem.
You could try the Nova Launcher 7 beta, it has some improvements specific to Android 11 :

They're in the Changelogs channel. I'm on Nova 7.0.24, it's had some improvements specific to gesture navigation.
If I remember rightly you need to click certain emojis to unlock channel access when you first visit. Presumably to stop bot flooding.

Is it possible that you may have some residual files from previous install? That may prevent installing nova launcher. Like other reply, I would recommend searching for nova beta version. It feels a little smoother than the stable version on Android 11.

I'm using ArrowOS 11 and Microsoft Launcher. When I return to the home screen by exiting the resource intensive apps, the launcher screen reloads and consequently my screen icons and widgets appear after about two seconds. How can I fix this?

It doesn't matter what 3rd party launcher or version of 3rd party launcher you use, it matters what your system/OEM does. If your system doesn't allow gesture navigation to work with 3rd party launchers, then no version of Nova will change that in any way. If it works inconsistently with 3rd party launchers, no version of Nova will change that either. Notice to Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco users: Xiaomi has completely disabled gestures with third party launchers on MIUI 12 with Android 11 (MIUI 12 on Android 10 seems to be unaffected). As you have read above, there is nothing we can do on our end to change or enable this.

I rly like to use gesture navigation. This issue is not present on Arrow launcher.
OEM (Stock) launcher is not affected by this, only custom ones.

Good to know. Why full screen gestues are that problematic, even on custom roms?
It's not that gestures are problematic, from what i understand it's just custom launchers that cannot take full advantage of the API. (?)

Not yet, I just returned to Android after few years with iPhone, and it's quite confusing. I'm installing now Pixel Experience, it will be closer to Pixel feel.
I'd just use whatever stock launcher you like best from the available ROM's and stick to that.
