Put in a bit more and you can afford the K20 or the K20 Pro..which has much better specs..

Yes really nice phone, but there are already newer xiaomi / redmi phones on the market soa maybe look at them.

I broke the phone MI4C

After all the waiting I had no patience and I broke the phone, and yesterday I bought another great sacrifices but deserved to give 800 euros a Samsung Galaxy edge s7, a jewel phone. I wanted to buy me an MI5 but I changed my mind after what had happened with mi4c and suck those services from Xiaomi

Good news

Is it still worth buying?

Its online price is quite tempting to me, but having read mixed reviews I'm unsure whether to buy this model or not. So, I'm asking to the real users of this device! Would you buy it now? The thing I care the most is app launch speed and overall speed.
Not really. I suggest you take a look at redmi note 3.

Thanks, but I'm looking for a phone 5" maximum.
I would say go with the Redmi 3 with only 5" screen... but i heard the Redmi 3S is coming out.

Nah not really. I suggest looking for redmi note 3 or Moto G 3rd gen.
how about mi4c or mi4s?
Mi4c's touchscreen does not work well, and Mi4s is expensive right now. I ended up buying the Mi4i. So far so good, excellent device, nothing to complain.

Going to upgrade; Need some advice

The OPO is getting old now, I've had my 3years worth and loved it despite the issues I've faced!
However it's time to upgrade (new job, more money )
I'm in the mix between ;
Pixel 1 XL - £400 (Really like this phone, although the age is putting me off SLIGHTLY due to not going to get many official updates)
Pixel 2 - £630 (Quite a bit expensive, will leave me quite skint but possibly worth it; I want this device the most)
LG G6 - £400ish? £500 with a floating LG speaker (I REALLY like this device, especially for the money but the skin and delay in updates will probably make me ill lol)
Oneplus 5 8GB ram - £450 (student discount) (obviously this looks like the no brainer but i KNOW the jelly effect will really get to me, in nearly every review of it on youtube i notice it when they scroll; no one can change my mind about this but I've added it to see if theres yet a fix for it? or is there going to be one? I havent seen anything about it?)
;
And these are the phones, can anybody steer me into the right way? I honestly cannot decide, and my mind hasnt been made so I'm not biased against any however I'm least keen about the OP5.

I wouldn't choose them sort of phones anyway mate due to the inconvenience such as; they'd be imported, wouldnt have good support if anything was to happen and the sites selling the xiaomis at least havent had the best reviews.
The phones i suggested i can buy in town without hesitation, even the Oneplus 5 due to being in the UK and o2 selling oneplus products
I just want something that works, is great all round and smooth. (and something i'm able to flaunt to ALL of my iPhone friends that claim Android is for 'tramps and emo geeks' hahah )

Well I was going to get the honor when it was just out as my dad asked if i wanted to get it off him and swap him for my opo with some money on top but the software is a big killer, possibly THEA worst android skin on a mainstream phone. The look, the feel and everything is clunky and pretty fairly disgusting.
I dont think theres any other phone on the market I'd have other than i've stated, I really like the Moto Z but I can't find it for sale in the UK (reasonably priced anyway), Also like Sony xperia phones but again, they're too expensive for what they are. The new HTC u11 is £600 so again, too expensive all considering.

That's why custom ROMs are there, aren't they?
PS: you should wait for Honor 7X- https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/how-to/wait-honor-7x-t3683703

Still worth in 2022?

Hello everyone,
I am thinking to buy Oneplus 8.
The price is really good. I wanted to ask you if it is still worth it. What do you think?
Thanks.

The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro have held up well...
It still works as it should.
Are we talking $200?

Luckily because Qualcomm is trash, the chip inside the OP8 is still almost just as good as the 888 or the SD8 Gen 1.
Only reason to upgrade to the 9 or 10 would be cameras. OP8 cameras are garbage.
I wouldn't grab a used one unless it's real cheap. Just for battery concerns the phone is going on 2 years old after all.

Buying 8T in 2022. Yes or no?

Yeah, I'll propably ask in a lot of places in xda
From your experience of being in the OnePlus family, is it worth it buying 8T in 2022? I can get it for like $522.98
Or any other recommendations? And is Oxygen OS good? I've heard a lot of bad reviews about it
Well the phone is worth buying..12 GB ram + 48 MP and a 4500mAh battery is an overkill
520$ doesn't seem like a great deal tbh, below 400 maybe is..
I dont feel like the phone is missing any features a 2022 phone should have. Camera is not that great (GCam can do some work) and apperently Android 12 is terrible (I am still on A11 because EU is delayed).
Idk what the Nord 2 costs for you, but if you can get it for 400$, go for that. I would say they are almost on the same level..
This is the last real Oneplus phone after this, all is Oppo phones ) I am still want to get this in 2022, most probably will get CN version and convert to Global.

For that amount i'll look to 9 or 9Pro (if you can find one with good discount).
