J7 2016 (Exynos variants) are not giving AOSP or CM, because Exynos SoC is closed. And if someone ports it, it will be a lot of bugs

Does that mean there will be no LineageOS / Resurrection Remix rom on any Exynos based phone?

Need help Build A kernel but getting a bug

Me and my friend builded a kernel for j7 2016 from stock source code
and it booted
but it has a lockscreen but
he said the he didnt used any modification
just used kernel source
and the device model no. is j710fn
need help if some one can

The kernel source has been out for the US models (SM-G970U) for quite a while now, but I asked Samsung to release the source for the Canadian model (SM-G970W) and they complied.

Question Is A12 too new to have custom recoveries available?

I'm being affordable for Samsung A12, whose debut was at December 2020, and now is March 2021, i've tried to search all those projects of custom recoveries, TWRP official site is dead, all others, like PitchBlack, OrangeFox, RedWolves, all those projects whose front pages are up, but still no supports for my Samsung A12. Just order one first to wait for custom recoveries?

[dev] camera fix for nougat custom rom.

hello, i have ported a custom rom for j1 4g 2016 {exynos3475 android 5.1.1} {ROM here}
the custom rom is from galaxy on5pro {exynos3475 android 7.1.1}
i was able to boot because of kernel source for lineage os 7.1.1 for j1 4g. i ported it to boot image.
but my main question is that will it be lineage os or touchwiz all rom seems to have one problem camera.
so, if any developer had any solution what so ever please reply.
