HTC U11 PLUS IMEI deleted after hard reset. - HTC U11+ Questions & Answers

Hi,
After updating my U11+ to Android 9.0 the stored PIN and pattern security codes don’t work so I tried to hard reset my HTC U11+. After that SIM card can't be detected plus the IMEI NO. also got deleted from the phone.
I'm new to this forum and don't know much about the ANDROID rooting so any guide or solution regarding to this problem is appeciated.
Thanks
Mathew

[QUESTION]Sim (subsidy) unlock~TMobile~HTC HD2

Hello all,
I am having trouble with the network unlock (subsidy code) on my WinMo 6.5 Tmobile HTC HD2. I have tried a pay-site solution as I no longer have my TMobile account (moved to Alaska). The site replied that the IMEI number supplied could not be unlocked and that a data connection to a PC might be required.
!QUESTION!:
Who can unlock this phone for me? I have tried. I have danger spl and a custom Energy rom. The IMEI matches on the handset and in software. I would rather pay a forum member through paypal or find out what I need in order to unlock this phone. I have a dual boot android partition installed on the handset as well. Maybe this had something to do with the fact I cannot unlock via traditional methods.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Stevo

Installed wrong firmware, problems with unlocking, and *2767*3855# not working

I recently purchased a samsung galaxy s6, locked to Bell Mobility (my sim is rogers). I bought my unlock code through onemanwireless, but I made a very stupid mistake and followed the instructions for t-mobile phones and installed the factory firmware found here, http://onemanwireless.com/TMobile_Galaxy_S6_Edge_unlock.htm. After I realized my mistake I reinstalled the factory firmware for Bell, which I found on this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/general/sm-g925f-s6-firmware-thread-t3078841.
However, the unlock code was still unsuccessful, so I followed the other three solutions found on onemanwireless, http://onemanwireless.com/instructions.php#samsung.
When I dialed *#197328640#, I was in the debugging screen, but I didn't have the eight option for phone control.
When I dialed *2767*3855# and *7465625*638*#, nothing happened.
I've checked the IMEI and it's the correct one for my s6. Also, I have installed root checker basic, and it tells me root access is not prorperly installed on the device. I've already gotten the network code incorrect eight times, so I want to know if I'm limited to a specific number of tries before my phone cannot be unlocked again?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

[Completed] Android asks for Simcode (PIN1) password even though there is no card in phone

I bought new Nexus 6p, and it required Nano Sim card.
Being genious me, i've decided to cut my old card and inserted it.
It did not work and asked me for sim card's PIN code (which i never set up). Figuring i must have simply broken the card, i decided to boot the phone without any card inside.
Now, when i start the phone, i get the same lockscreen right after Android Logo.
I have tried factory reset, and inserting brand new nano card from different carrier, but none of those it did work.
I tried entering PUK code *05PUKnewPIN*newPIN# and i recieve "Connection problem or invalid mmi code" error, with or without nano sim card.
I thought that maybe the pins were damaged, but they all seem to be allright.
Could flashing the factory image could solve this, or did i just broke the brand new phone?

Greetings,
Thank you for using XDA Assist.
Yes, flashing a factory image on a Nexus device will fix almost everything. Please have a look at the Nexus 6P homepage:
Huawei Nexus 6P
Guides and other helpful information can be found in the General Forum. If you create an XDA account, you can post your questions in the Q&A section.
Good luck and welcome to XDA!

(SOLVED) Sim not detecting/Insert a valid sim card on your phone

Hello there, I am not new to xda but this is my first post. I've a question regarding my M8 Verizon bought from ebay. Its been a year now and everything was going well since one day I accidentally did s-on and locked the bootloader while using HTC ONE M8 Toolkit by Squabbi.
Then I again s-off'd my device using Sunshine method (firewater didn't worked as it was discontinued). So I paid 1600₹ to get my device s-off'd and unlocked bootloader. But since then I am unable to use any Indian sim whether airtel, idea or any other. I tried many possible solutions found on the internet as well as here on xda. Like I flashed firmware (old and new both), flashed radio firmware files old and new both but no luck. Either I restored my device to stock Verizon rom using the RUU provided by Dottat. But I couldn't find any luck and I'm still unable to use my sim card. My phone is unable to detect it. My device doesn't even pops up any notification for sim card now. Please Help. :crying:
Is there any solution for this? I'm in a need of this.
Waiting to be helped as soon as possible.
Hi,
I do not know if same pb...
Phone is working fine on Lollipop on european Gsm/LTE (sometimes going back to cdma by itself, a bit boring), and is asking for SIM pin number.
When going to marshmallow (by RUU or by OTA) the sim is deribed to be absent or invadid, and It did ask for the SIM pin number
I did not find any clue...
regards
After a lot of tries, it finally worked. And the sim is now detected. Thanks to Me.

I disassembled my M8, then replaced the sim reader inside the phone, then removed and reinserted the flex on the board. Then turned on the phone, and edited the system file located inside root/system/customize/ACC/default.xml to change the value of sku_id and region located at last in the file default.xml
You can search on google for SKU LIST XDA. It will show you the list for all regions.

***Help NO OEM Unlock anymore, PIN bricked external SDcard***

Good day to all,
my first post after trying everything
I am currently on BLN-TL10C01B380 EMUI 5.01 Android 7 on my 6x BLN-TL10
AFTER I messed up by running a OTA on rooted and unofficial unlocked previous EMUI/Android version.
Well, device is back alive BUT I lost the OEM Unlock function in developers and what's worse the external SD card is bricked. Apparently pin codes are lost after a full wipe, update to different android version and any previous used external card won't be accessible anymore. It is asking for SDcard PIN though but the one I used is getting rejected. ..
I tried several recovery apps on mobile and PC but no success. I removed the extSD to be save and now this !!
Additional problem, I need ROOT back ! I tried multi tool, paid services etc.... NO OEMUNLOCK option visible. I even tried official unlock but got told I have to visit Huawei Center. Which I cannot since I am in Swaziland/Africa.
A rollback is not available for this model. Could I use firmware finder? Move to older version?
Any help is greatly appreciated
No advise? Am I the only one? ... no phone isn't stolen either.
At first relock bootloader.the phone will be reset factory.then oem unlock.and again bootloader unlock and root the phone
