Both Firefox and Chrome display VLC Player in their share link options, but they don't display MX Player, why?

Hi!
Is there any Android RTSP player out there?
I want to watch tv from my MediaPortal.
On the PC i use the VLC player and a RTSP link.
But on Android there is no VLC player and i dont find a RTSP player?!
vlc stream&convert, will do it. In the market, go to developers web page for setup instructions
Thanks, but i dont see any option to open a RTSP stream.
look here http://traveldevel.com/vlc-stream-convert/setup
Thanks, but in the setup i need a VLC player but i am want to watch a RTSP stream sent from my MediaPortal HTPC.
So there is no VLC installed, only my HTPC software MediaPortal and this software creates an RTSP stream.
So I like to use MXplayer or Diceplayer as a default video player.
I notice that if I use the build in browser and play an embedded video on the internet it would ask me to use a video player which is great.
But Chrome does not give me the option, but rather just use the default built in video player which is horrible.
Is there a way to make another video player as default for Chrome?
No responses....
I want to know Answer to this also
If a video is playing in chrome. .. right click and save video. .. it will create a play list in mx player..
You then open from mx player and it will be playing from there. ..
Works on a stream
Its been quite a while actually, MX player just wont play any video from chrome now.
It used to prompt me and ask which player do i want to use back in the days, i always set MX player as default, now it just play within the browser which has tiny controls, very annoying to use.
How do i make MX player capture browser videos again? Or is chrome blocking it?

It's not MX Player's fault. most of the browsers now use mediaplayer api to play the video's in browser itself.

Hi I just got a streaming link with fmp4 extention (eg: something.fmp4?uid=*** etc)
So uc browser can't play this link. Uc browser shows only 5sec video duration which is not correct. I have searched on Google about fmp4. But i didn't get any results for streaming fmp4. I just want to play it on android. I tried mx player too but didn't worked (codec not supported) . I think some different codec need to install but I don't know which codec support fmp4.
I just need to play it on android.
Update: even vlc player in windows can't play fmp4 link
Hi
I am using mx player to play stream urls,
I was wondering if there is a way to hide the url path when my app open Mx player from intent (action.view)
If you go to properties on Mx player there can be found the stream url,
I have seen other apps that use Mx player to play streams urls but they hide the url you cannot see what url you’re playing.
