Whitch is the latest stable oreo oxygen os version for op6?
First of all, don't use Oreo. Pie is much better.
The latest version is OxygenOS 5.1.11.

No. It is standard to forget about old Android.
Is any brand who do different?
lol I decided to downgrade to Nougat to use Magisk and Xposed and it's a right thing for me, no regret. Oreo is great, good battery (but not much compared to Nougat, fast and smooth (Nougat already has this) and has low ram usage but I cant live without Xposed, the benefits from Xposed are extremely big so Nougat is my daily home lol
Never heard of any phone maker that does this. It's Nougat or nothing

Possibly this is the wrong forum. This is for OnePlus One. And I've never heard of any Android P based rom for this device.
Does anyone know if Honor 8 will get Android Pie?
I'm also wondering about Android 8.1, will it be available for Honor 8 (frd-l09 especially)
I recently had my phone replaced but this time it refused to download the android 8.0 update both in OTA and hisuite, even after i downloaded and flashed B521 it refused to update to B562.
By refused i mean telling me it's already up to date, both OTA and hisuite.
Is it possible to force it or should I give up on OTA's and hisuite updates
Hello, first of all, I wanna say that we already have fully working and stable Pie.
There is no need getting 8.1 because there is already pie from Open Kirin. I am pretty sure we will get working Android Q this year too and because of treble, we will probably get Android 11 too.
Which stable pie rom u r using on honor 8?

Last OpenKirin update for Honor 8 was in February. Dream on.
Hello,
I liike the OnePlus 7 pro very much. But I am a fan of Oreo rom as we can root this rom easily and install Magisk and Xposed without any dificulty as for Pie or Android 10 roms( where Edxposed is causing various problems and most of useful xposed module are not working). I know the stock rom for this phone is android 10.
So my question is whether an android 8 rom availble for this rom and is it possible to flash it without causing any problems.
Kindly inform.
Thanking You

I can't have my husband dessert's?
The technical explanation is that this phone came with Pie as starter OS and therefore there's no Oero kernel or firmware blobs available. And only bet would be LineageOS based on Oreo, but who would be crazy enough to waste a lot of time trying to retrofit Pie kernel sources and Pie blobs to work with older generation LineageOS [emoji38] You usually switch to LineageOS on Oneplus when they stop releasing newer versions of OxygenOS for your phone, not to downgrade.

I have heard before that there is a "Firmware" in your phone and flashing the latest stock BEFORE flashing a custom rom is advisable because it updates to latest firmware (yes I am asking this because of OOS 11 update).
Question is if this is true or not, the whole time I been using the oneplus camera on LOS 18.1 it has been crashing.. Would flashing this latest stock before a new custom rom be advisable for this reason and may fix my camera for example?
Also a question thats been on my mind for months for the experts, is there a chance corporate or other spyware could be written into this new "firmware"?
Thanks devs
Stock firmware is Stock or OS that comes from the OEM, which is Oneplus, so the firmware in this question is meant for OxyGenOS.
Yes, it may be fixed if you're on OxygenOS 10 before and upgrade to newer LineageOS18.1 which already use newer base firmware which is OxygenOS 11
spyware? believe me, you're not that special to pried into by a corporate. so stop thinking like that.
either you want to use it or not, it's up to you.
my 2cent.

CustomROM can be build in any Base stock Firmware either 10 or 11, depends on the Maintainer to make it compatible or not.
for now, it's already been updated to 11, because LineageOS 18.1 is supposed to be Android 11, so it's naturally need base firmware OxygenOS 11.
I have OOS (Android 9), before flashing 11.1.1.1 should I first flash to this android 10 version because of firmware? Or just flash straight to 11.1.1.1?
You could just straight go to 11.1.1.1
