Hello, any app works to root the note 6 pro without pc?.
I have no access to a computer and need root for my phone, tried kingo root but crashes.
Thanks in advance.
Could be possible, but...
No root with a locked bootloader. Unlock bootloader isn´t possible without pc.
In king root only root 17 percent only and not rooted
How can I install TWRP and root without Pc in Redmi note 6 pro
Hi sir,
I unlocked the bootloader in my Redmi note 6 pro but I didn't flash the TWRP and I am not having a computer or laptop, I tried to root my device with kingoroot but it crashes and I also tried Kingoroot App but it was failed. Please Help me to install root or TWRP
Thanks you very much in Advance.
Dont use kingo root its Spyware and Bloatware. The easiest and safest way would be using a PC and unlock bootloader and flash TWRP and Magisk

Does this SIM unlock the phone to use on other carriers?
Does anyone have the stock rom image for the Huawei Inspira? Mine is currently bricked and I would really appreciate it!
Any help?
Has anyone been able to SIM unlock this phone? I'm also having problems unlocking the bootloader, my phone is not recognized when I connect it in fastboot mode. Any other mode I plug it in and it's recognized, but not in fastboot mode

I am thinking about trying to root my Huawei H867G straight talk phone using the method above, but may I ask how you bricked your phone. I don't see much information about rooting this model on the internet so there isn't much support. thanks.
Also was anyone able to install CWM and if so how, Was that done after rooting and were there any problems while installing it?
Stock rom image for Huawei H867G
I found this on the Huawei website and it says this image covers these 3 models. suitable for H867G,H881C,H868C.
Still looking for more information regarding rooting this with Framaroot and installing CWM. I would love to post a link but I don't have the required 10 post to do so, and I don't want to troll 10 threads to do so. EDIT I CAN POST LINK! here is a screenshot image as an attachment. Here is the link:
http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/search/index.htm?keywords=H867g
Open link and click on downloads.
I know this thread is old, but I just updated my above post with a link to stock Rom. But was anyone ever able to install CWM or Twrp recovery to Huawei H867G?

I rooted the 867 g using kingroot haven't found a custom recovery for it yet however
Few weeks ago, when I was over Kitkat 4.4.4, I could use Towelroot tool to root my Nexus 5, it unlocked the bootloader and rooted my phone like charm without needing to wipe data, installing a custom recovery or connect it to a PC. The idea now that after upgrading to Lollipop, Towelroot tells that Nexus 5 is not a supported device!
Any alternatives?

No, you need a custom recovery to root without a PC, but if you have upgraded already, you need root to flash a custom recovery. Vicious circle.

And can I manage this without wiping phone data?
If your bootloader is locked, no - but you can back up apps and data using Helium without rooting (it uses ADB) and then unlock/root and then restore data afterwards
Rootsu you don't have to have a custom recovery
You could use an apk such as vroot or kingroot. you can get vroot at mgyun.com/vroot and you can get kingroot at kingroot.net and if those don't work you can try downloading this Chinese appstore mobile.baidu.com/?source=mobres&from=1010680m#/item?pid=825114773 and look up root there are various kinds of apps to root almost all phones.
be wary of viruses/malware, etc. i wouldn't get anything from a chinese store.
Beekay you are right I'd would recommend a antivirus I use one all the time I'll scan unknown apps or sources other google play keep caution

Hi kiselina777, I too am searching for a root method that doesn't require unlocking the bootloader (most because of the 14 day wait), have you had any luck in finding one?
Hello Colloseo,
do you have any news regarding the systemless rooting?
Thanks!
Any progress at all regarding systemless rooting?
Does anyone tried these methods already? Any update on that?
when comes method 3?
and is this really also possible with the P2?
At this time, the only available methods are described here:
Lenovo P2
I had a problem
I've tried the first way:
unlock the bootlader (and wait 14 days)
get adb
flash TWRP
put the SuperSU .zip file, found here supersu.com/download, in the normal memory (i don't have a sdcard)
open the recovery, that now is TWRP recovery, search the supersu .zip file that i previously put in my phone and click install
reboot the phone
and NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, I've done it so many times, reflashing the recovery, installing SuperSU from the play store before installing from the phone, but whenever i enter the SuperSU app it says "no root found".
Even if TWRP recovery said "installed succesfully" my phone still doesn't have the root privileges, did I miss any passage?
EDIT
I've tried with me.phh.superuser.apk, found in the xda developer instead of the SuperSU official site, and using the superuser256.zip found in the same site (forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73667960&postcount=5).
Work perfectly
Thanks medwatt !!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all xda members,
I am not new in rooting. I was rooting my phone since 2014. When KitKat and lollipop introduced. After I purchased the new redmi 8A dual, it's impossible to root with kingoroot and with others. So, I googled how to root Android 10 miui11. I found there is an app called magisk. So I installed it. Now, I searched more, I found that I have to unlock my bootloader in order to install custom recovery. I really don't wanna unlock my bootloader and custom recovery. I just wanna root for temporarily because I need to convert some application to sys apps.
Now,
I found that people doing another magisk way to root and is called 'patching boot image', . I patched my boot image and download the platform tool. Now, I am completely puzzled because I don't know what to do next! Some are saying I have unlock bootloader and some are rooting without unlocking bootloader.
If by patching boot image root is possible without bootloader then could you please write the steps! I am completely noob in magisk line.
Or,
Is there any way to root MIUI11 without unlocking bootloader? I really don't wanna loss my data.
Thanks for reading!

Your only chance of rooting without unlocking bootloader is to find a universal rooting app or PC program that has an exploit that works on your device. But, I doubt that there is an app or PC program that can root your device, those stopped working on devices with android versions newer than Marshmallow.

So actually i want to root my phone and for that i have to unlock my bootloader , but there is no oem unlock option in devloper option, i tried that time change method, and didn't work, and i tried fastboot, but fastboot isn't detecting my device, (i checked drivers in device manager, but there was no yellowed drivers (i forgot that symbol name) in other device section. So can anyone help me with this?
To root a phone's Android it's NOT required to unlock its bootloader.
I know , but i want to use superuser method, not by any apps likes kingo root or king root cause of ads issue.
