Any module to use temporary rotate with oneplus gestures? - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

What the title says, I miss the temporary rotate button that pops up on pie whenever autorotation is off. I'm looking for a module that return the pop-up, maybe on the notification area or near the bottom, I'm more interested in function than anything else as I hate having auto rotate on. Thanks in advance

Force NAVBAR on the right in Android 5.0?

Hi, so my SHIELD Tablet has Android 5.0, and i saw a guide previously on how an XPOSED module can force the Softkeys (Navbar) to be on the right side and stay there. However, as of Android 5.0 and ART, XPOSED does no longer work (for now), and i need another ROOT solution. Is there any other app that can force my Navbar to be forced to stay in any orientation on the right side (portrait bottom)? Would be nice to hear back from you guys.
Good mood droid Auto hide softkeys, in the play store. Left or right in landscape and bottom in portrait.

Thanks, but i dont want them to hide, i only want them to stay in the portrait mode and not rotate with the screen. Auto Hide Softkeys works, however it makes the softkeys an overlay if i decide to put the action on what makes the bar dissappear again on none of the buttons or touch clicks and set the timer to 10000ms. That doesnt make it dissappear, however it does make it so that things can go under the buttons, but i want them to stay where they are and be like hardware keys. Is there any way doing that?

Is there a way to customize the fingerprint gestures?

I find the one tap to go back a bit annoying, it would make much more sense if a single tap would go home, a slide to go back and holding the home button goes to recent apps.
Has anyone been able to do this?
Also, is there a way to disable the home button when the navigation bar is enabled?
legit, I think it shoud have even more gestures, like swipe direction down up left right and double tap
wonder is there an app for this
would be only logical

Gesture navigation problem

Hey guys, my gesture navigation is broken. It’s taking my swipes from whole 1/3 of the bottom screen. So swiping web etc is pain in the ass and playing games is actually impossible, because when I try to control anything on that sidetof display, it just goesrto home screen or back...
Is there anyone with same issue, or do I need to contact support?
I actually solved it! I had to switch back to buttons, restart phone (without restart it didn't work) and then I could switch back to gesture navigation. Now everything works as it should be.

I suggest always restarting after switching to navigation gestures. On the 6T, when I would switch from buttons to gestures, swiping from the bottom would register input on the keyboard (if it was open). It would go away after a restart.
I hate that there's no haptic feedback

Apps on AOD: issue since recent update.

Hello,
Since the recent update, the apps on my aod no longer open from swiping upwards. Instead, a single tap will activate them.
I have the "flashlight" and "do not disturb" shortcuts on my aod. I find myself accidentally pressing the flashlight button from my aod everytime I unlock my phone with Fingerprint.
Looking for a way to change it back, so these apps will only activate when I swipe upwards.
Please let men know if there's a way to do this.
Thanks.

Question how to keep s22 ultra in landscape mode/orientation permanently ?

S22 Ultra has huge screen and I would like to use it in landscape orientation always, is there a way to set it permanently ?
I have already tried 'Turn your phone the orientation you want it to stay in and then lock it with the auto rotate button from the quick panel. You can lock it in either portrait or landscape that way.'
and didn't work for me, here is the video https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...orientation-permanently.4411873/post-86533919
one approach: use bixby routines and set to rotate to landscape for all apps on open

I dont see trigger for screen unlock
Is this not an option in the pull-down toggles anymore? I'm still waiting for my S22U to come in, but on my S8 you can pull down and get a "Auto-Rotate" toggle. You'd enable that, rotate the screen the way you want it, and then tap it again -- the text would then change to "Portrait" or "Landscape" and the rotation would be locked in.
Turn your phone the orientation you want it to stay in and then lock it with the auto rotate button from the quick panel. You can lock it in either portrait or landscape that way.
@itsXpanD and @AndroidNO0B i have tried this, once i lock the screen in landscape and go back. it returns to portrait.

Search your settings for landscape and the rotate to landscape option near the bottom.

Your browser is not able to display this video.
(had to record with other mobile as as screen recording gets stopped when locked.)
managed to make it happen
this is what I was missing.
Huh, that's interesting. Seems to be a more recent addition, there was no long-press menu on OneUI 1.0 yet. Glad it's working now!
