Hey, could someone please put up some screenshots? Especially things like: dialer, contacts, app drawer, settings etc.
Much appreciated, thanks!

This is a problem from my experience as well. When the screen is off and you press either the HOME or the POWER button, there is often times Lag until the screen turns on and you can start using your phone. So far this is the main issue which is a problem for me... a fix for this would be great!
I will continue using and testing this ROM. So far it works quite well!!
Another thing is, I can't seem to make the weather information display on the lock screen. Even though that option is enabled. Any advice regarding this issue?
Also, is there any way to customize the default home screen widget which shows the date and the weather information? For example changing its size, adding a clock display, disabling it all together...? I scoured all the settings in the ROM and couldn't seem to find anything of the sort.
One more bug I noticed is that under Settings -> DotExtras -> Quick Settings -> Brightness slider on bottom
The slider already appears on bottom by default (instead of on top) so this setting is basically useless. Please fix its default position back to top
Review so far and list of main problems
Been using it for a couple of days now. Noticeable speed improvement. More responsive and a lot less lag when compared to my previous Nougat 7.0 Samsung ROM (Zapyanovv ROM v2.1).
Great job, but unfortunately here is also a list of problems I encountered:
Screen doesn't turn on - there is a HUGE delay when trying to turn the screen on using the power button, or home button. It can take up to 10 seconds sometimes or more for it to respond. This doesn't happen every time but it happens very often. UPDATE: Yesterday it was so bad I couldn't wake my phone at all after several minutes of repeatedly pressing the Power button. Had to physically remove the battery and restart.
Phantom screen touches - not sure how to replicate this problem as it seems to happen randomly - without touching the screen the phone goes "crazy" and just starts reacting to "phantom" touches. I've had this so far while using apps like Whatsapp and Gmail, and in the system itself. For example I was typing a message in Whatsapp, and suddenly the phone just started "typing" randomly on the keyboard without me even touching it. UPDATE: I used an app called "Touchscreen Calibration" (link) as just generally speaking the screen wasn't sensitive enough and it felt like a constant struggle just to operate my phone. After running the calibration process and rebooting, HUGE difference. Everything is super smooth now. I am hoping this was related and will also fix the "ghost typing" problem. UPDATE#2: It didn't.
Camera keeps crashing - The camera app would work at first but after a while it will freeze. Once this happens, closing and reopening the app doesn't help. I've tried to force app close, clear cache & data, but if you try to launch it again all you get is a black screen. It seems the camera gets frozen on the hardware level. Only a phone reboot makes the camera work again. I also tried 3rd party camera apps and the result is exactly the same.
Very fast battery drain - When the phone is on standby and the screen is off it's okay (UPDATE: Even on standby the battery drains rapidly). But as soon as you start using the phone the battery starts to drain very rapidly. And I'm not even talking about heavy usage like games. Just some light browsing, emails, installing some apps etc. I've tried adjusting the screen brightness to a minimum, but no matter what I do I get extreme battery drain once the phone is not in standby. Coming from my previous ROM and same usage patterns, the difference is very noticeable. Downloaded and installed SystemPanel2 and gave it full permissions in order to try to and trace the source of the power drain to a particular app(s) or system process(s). But it couldn't identify the problem. Just says that the most significant power drain is "unaccounted".
Apps Randomly Uninstalling - I've had this happen TWICE so far. First Greenify just randomly uninstalled. I have its shortcut on the home screen to Hibernate apps with one touch, suddenly I press it and it says the app isn't installed (wtf?! ). Then another time after a phone restart suddenly the Whatsapp shortcut on my home screen disappeared. Checked the app drawer and it was no longer installed. Went to Google Play Store and confirmed it, as it was prompting me to install the app again. After reinstalling them from play store they both worked fine, but this is VERY STRANGE!!
Phone gets really hot (occasionally) - I have not been able to pin this on any specific action. It seems for no reason the phone will occasionally get VERY hot. I guess all things considered it's a relatively minor issue, and doesn't happen all that often, but still not ideal.
These are the main problems the ROM currently has from my experience. I really hope the OP can fix them in an upcoming update. Really nice ROM I like using it a lot except the above issues.
My device is Samsung Galaxy S5 neo SM-G903F.
Thanks!

+1 to the Screen wakeup delay
bad phone call quality
During phone call I have to speak very loud otherwise person to other side doesn't hear me well - my voice is interrupted. I tested DotOS 3.1 and DotOS 2.5 (both on 2G and 3G mode). Both has similar issue. This is not hardware bug - on LineageOS 15.1 and the same 's5 neo' voice quality is perfect.
edit: hardware - fixed by cleaning second mic (on top, for noise cancelling)
but why on LineageOS is better?

Do "camera's" work on this ROM? I'm guessing this is one of the "same things" not working on the CM build?

Very nice. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us as Cyanogenmod development progresses (hurry up HTC). Though, I have one suggestion. If this ROM requires the 1.32 firmware, i'd suggest putting that in the OP before half the posts in here become "_______ doesn't work. What firmware is this meant for?".

I just dirty flashed the ROM listed in the op with a cache and davlik wipe. I am having a few plat store crashes and now email. Op did a test build of this ROM in another thread on 7/26. I clean flashed that one and had no crashes whatsoever. Going to try flashing banks new gapps package posted today and see if that fixes the crashes...
Edit: no hard button reboots tho
Edit2: banks latest gapps and another cache wipe did not fix app crashes. I'm reverting back to a nandroid of the 7/26 build. I can't open the email app or gmail app or SMS without crashes. Odd. Can't imagine its banks gapps. Been using them with CyanogenMod ROMs reliably for ages....
7/26 build can be found here. Note that other than the camera not working, the mic on speakerphone doesn't work (headset does) and Bluetooth doesn't work either.

You da man! I'll give it a shot maybe over the weekend. Lots going on right now, much of which I require Bluetooth and my Camera to be working for haha.
I tried this rom after I had a 'flickering' screen issue from the CM12.1 Rom. I have the same issue on crDroid but maybe a little worse (Sometimes it black screens and reboots) Thought I'd make you guys aware!
From what I could tell everything else seemed OK, didn't try much though!
Firmeware: 1.32.61.15
Unlocked/rooted/S-ON(I need to s-off asap tbh)
Network: EE
I reverted back to a sense7 rom and its all OK now, I'm about to try a few more things (DPI changing etc didnt work) and I'll report back with any findings
Cheers though, keep up the great work!

Blue circle cursor
This ROM and CM12.1 for my HTC One M9 both have a mouse cursor that won't go away. There's no option to turn it off and it's really annoying because I have to use it like a mouse... if I want to type a message, I have to move the cursor to each letter and then tap the screen.

I'm also experiencing this. I've tried toggling visible cursor in dev options but that didn't get rid of it.

I've tried it on all the different types for the international version, i.e. 2.10/1.32/1.40
1.32 stops the reboots whenever the screen is locked but the cursor persists across all firmwares

My friend, you tell me that this isn't working & that isn't working, did you patiently try to trouble shoot before you came in reporting it as a bug? Also did you attach logs for anything and everything that you reported as a bug? You didn't even care to describe in detail as to what is happening and what you did for something to happen.
Simply saying this and that isn't working will help none! Hope you understand! If you can provide Logs for each thing that you say isn't working or giving errors would be the best thing!
How am I supposed to help you out if you don't try to help me to help you?

Haha. Thought these aren't that serious issues . so did a normal reporting
Will do the LoG cat reporting in few mins . if not me then my friends will do it.
Apologies for the issue.
Will correct it.
Misses out on basic features, like navigation ring targets, qtiles(limited), moto doze & profiles!! Also there should be an option to add a custom button(Power button, my preference) on the navigation bar, such that it doesn't affect the current position of buttons, i.e. doesn't shifts it to any side, like it is in cm!!
Hope to see these features getting implemented soon, as so far this is the best ROM for moto e, better & smooth than any other....................!!

if not the navigation rings you can still use the three navigation buttons and assign 3 different "long press" actions to them to get whatever you want!!! works same as navigation rings!

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

FAQ:
Q: Why u no official?
A: Oh hai there, well, Pie source is still under construction. Tho, I am an official maintainer, I will add official tag to the thread once the source is stable and we get builds from the server directly.
Q: Why u no gib encryption support?
A: The current build should technically, support encryption. I still need to test this.
Q: Why u no mention features, gib me features :/
A: A lot of features are available in "OwlNest". I haven't mentioned it here, coz no time and also this thread will change once we start official builds. I will try my best to mention all the features by this weekend.
Q: Battery settings FC?
A: #BlameGoogle for now, disabling Health services fixes the issue.
Q: VoLTE de?
A: Should work most probably, I don't use it, so haven't got a chance to test. Lemme know.
Q: Do I have to wipe data if coming from another ROM?
A: Yes, I will not be providing help/support to users that haven't wiped data when coming from another ROM.
Q: I use Telegram, where can I find help on that platform?
A: There is a common AOSiP Group Chat for all devices, the link is HERE
Nice work

F.A.Q
We do not recommend nor support using 3rd party mods(helix/akt/viper/substratum/greenify/etc), beta magisk versions, magisk modules, and especially not other kernels.
Before issues should be reported:
1. Rom needs to be clean flashed
2. No Xposed, AKT Profiles, Helix Engine, magisk modules, or other mods, kernels, etc.
3. Do not restore any apps with TiBu or Swift or some other app restoring application
4. No Substratum themes installed
If you can still reproduce the issue you're having:
1. Logcat/logs must be provided with your report in order to receive any support.
2. I also need a full description of what happened, what you were doing when it happened, and a way to guarantee-ably reproduce the problem. If I or my testers cannot reproduce it, not only will it likely not get fixed, it likely isn't even an issue with the rom/kernel.
3. Screen record or picture of the issue is also helpful.
If you're not familiar with how to get logs, I prefer that you would use Syslog app from the Play Store as it will grab all necessary logs for you and scrub any personal data from them when doing so.
If you can't give logs for errors or possible bugs, I literally cannot help you solve it. You might as well not even report it.
If you have a question:
1. Please read at least the last two pages of the thread
2. Use the 'Search this thread' function on the top-right of this site
If you still cannot find the answer you need, go ahead and ask away.
Telegram Support Group is closed. Support will only be given here
Common issues:
Q: What does clean flash mean?
A: Wipe system/data/cache/dalvik in recovery and then flash rom, gapps, and magisk if you want it.
A2: If you are doing so in order to reproduce an issue you're having, no other things must be flashed, changed, altered.
Q: What is dirty flash and when is it allowable?
A: We do support dirty flashing SD releases directly on top of previous SD releases ONLY. You just flash new release right on top of previous SD version without wiping anything. We do recommend you wipe cache/dalvik cache however.
A2: If you have slow downs or any other issues tho, you must clean flash the rom and follow the steps above before reporting anything.
Q: You get 'Android is starting' on first boot after using SD-Debloater.
A: You removed launcher3quickstep without having another launcher installed or restored with google. Install another launcher or wait to use debloater until after you've setup the phone and installed a separate launcher.
Q: You flashed magisk zip and booted phone and there is no magisk manager apk in apps and root isnt working.
A: Install magisk manager apk by itself once you're booted, it sometimes doesn't get installed with zip.
Q: My battery life is horrible
A: Stop using Greenify, amplify, and/or other "battery optimization" apps or mods. Stop blocking wakelocks and alarms, just use the rom and kernel as they come without any tweaking.
Side note: Facebook/FB Messender/Instagram/musicly will destroy your battery life.
Q: Can't change QS layout (Rows/Columns)
A: Pull down QS Shade, click 'Pencil' looking icon, click 3-dot menu, enjoy.
Q: What do location icons mean
A: Dot = Sensors only, + = Battery Saving, H = High Accuracy
Q: No Recents options/clear-all button in Settings
A: Quickstep Launcher(Pie recents) uses its own setup so 'Recents' options are hidden while its installed/enabled. If you remove/Disable the Launcher3Quickstep and hence go back to normal AOSP recent style, then Dragon's Den will show a 'Recents' tab with Clear-all button toggle, placement selection, and a membar toggle.
Q: PUBG
A: This game is horribly "optimized". I do not support this game at all and I do not build anything with this game in mind.
Q: Screen flickers/android auto
A: For now best bet is disable HW Overlays in developer options.
Extra stuff
HDK-Mod-v1.0.0
This is my own modified build of Grarak's Kernel Adiutor app.
I have added a few extras that were missing for sound control, pdesire audio, DCI_P3 mode, sultan's battery cycle/charge commits, Boeffla Wakelock blocker, and KLapse-Livedisplay support.
Also changed the theme, and updated some stuff.
Work in progress but needed something to fully control my kernel.
Full credits and much love to Grarak for putting in all the hard work on this app, not trying to take away from his work, I am just posting mine here in case you deleted it from my rom.
My source for it is here.
HolyDragon Recovery Project 3.2.3-0 8/09
*Fixed not saving settings
*August patches
*New decryption blobs
This is my own modified build of TWRP, currently version 3.2.3-0.
I build it with my rom source so same optimization as my rom, Built and optimized specifically for the OP3/msm8996 SOC.
I built a kernel specifically for this Recovery to maximize the backup/restore speeds and lower the battery usage at the same time.
What once took ~140 seconds to backup system/boot now takes ~70. No loss in functionality, encryption and all that still works fine here.
I've changed the default theme and also ported some features from RedWolf Recovery that I found useful like substratum overlay wipe.
Source for this here: device, twrp, kernel
Please no more talk about Gcam and Spectrum they're removed from the rom and considered OT if you need them go to their threads.

Exactly this, plus tremendous stability. I've been using skydragon for a couple of weeks now (and omnidragon before that) without a single FC or random reboot. Device specific optimisation works people.
Excited!
Going to flash when I get home.

Welcome to SkyDragon OS for the OnePlus 7 Pro!
This ROM is based on AOSP source that I have optimized(WIP) for our device. It currently only fully supports the 7 Pro as that is what I own. Theoretically the 5G version will work too with a supported kernel flashed after magisk before booting the OS. The regular 7 will likely work fine too but no notch support currently for it. These are test builds for now while I work on fixing the few remaining bugs. Most things work tho!
Based on AOSP

I'm posting this early in the hopes of getting working source out to the rest of the developers that might be interested in trees so we can fix the remaining bugs quickly.
I keep everything on gitlab, if you sync the whole rom source you'll be missing the trees for this model from the manifest but they are posted.
Trees are made for omnirom based roms not lineage FYI.

I read that it should support regular OnePlus 7, any device specific features for this rom that will only work with pro? I want to get my hands on this. But front camera is not working is it the motor which is not working or the camera module?

only regular 7 thing not working would be the notch cut out, so you might get some content behind the notch.
And yes the front camera motor is not working yet.

That's awesome man, if only motor is not working then ideally front camera should work with regular Op7 since it dont have that fancy mechanism. I am planning to flash this tomorrow will share the results here.

One thing if flashing in twrp and coming from OOS you would need to wipe wipe cash system and data I then flash this ROM and then after flashing it reboot to twrp wipe data then adb sideload the gapps and magisk. Flash to the system after this the phone will try to reboot but get stock so now go back to twrp and wipe the phone by typing yes then. Reboot and it will boot
