Lineage OS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). Lineage OS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for Lineage OS is available in the Lineage OS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Instructions
First time flashing Lineage OS 14.1 your device?
Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash Lineage OS.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.

You are using a Ulefone Metal with a batch version newer than the first batch, we are working on it but without kernel source it is quite hard. Can you pull a logcat of the crash?

Only the camera does not work.
The battery is not OK

flashed saturday . back on stock . battery drain at 1℅ per 5 seconds . none of my backups in recovery would restore . flashed stock rom . nvram busted . had to format & flash stock then use mtk engineering mode to re-write imei . my fingerprint sensor refuses to come to life ( must be broken) in whatever rom .....this is my daily driver phone so going to stay on stock with latest ota and root + xposed because it works well and I need the phone for work . tbh i am grateful to all the developers and all the development but none of the custom roms have improved over stock+ root + xposed so far due to various bugs .eragon ( closest to stock ) worked the best but its android 6 and nothing different than having root+ xposed . perhaps our phone wasnt meant for nougat .its early days yet and in a month or so ill check back to see but i need to rest from laptops flash tools and usb cables and chargers late at night . thanks and goodluck .....

I'll be releasing another build soon that should hopefully fix this (courtesy of BlueFlame4).

I hope the new version comes out soon ... I want to try it on my device. It would also be helpful if you officially update the recovery to make it compatible with the other devices (which have another screen).

Download and Store the ROM in Internal (Links in Second Post)
Download latest OpenGapps. (Actually Copperhead doesn't support GApps and it uses F-Droid. But GApps working for some. )
Instructions :-
Reboot to Custom Recovery.
Wipe System, Data, Cache/Dalvik
Click Install and Select the Installer ZIP then Swipe to (Start) Install.
Flash Gapps if you want...
Boot will take more time than other ROMs. So, just simply wait till it boot. :silly:

Warning :-
In Copperhead you won't be able to break system screen lock like pattern, pin or passwords. i.e. Usually when restoring a backed up ROM from TWRP it messes the screenlock, we won't be able to unlock even with the right password. So we use some flashable zips or manually deleting gatekeeper files to bypass screenlock. And THIS TRICK WON'T WORK IN COPPERHEAD. SO, REMOVE PASSWORD PROTECTION BEFORE TAKING BACKUP VIA TWRP.

* Why this ROM takes more time to boot..?
Copperhead have many security measure like verified-boot. It may be the cause of Loooooong boot process... still we are working to fix it....
* Is this ROM is stable...?
To me - "YES". Its stable enough to used as a daily driver for me. According to me the meaning of STABLE is depends on the user. There may be some bugs... if you can point them with logs.

Btw... Only ultra prus can use that venerability and those ultra prus don't have anything to hack you or me

-Security is a concern almost everywhere.
-Smooth and neat, clutter-free settings, almost vanilla.
I couldn't disable on-screen buttons, tried modifying build.prop.

Before anyone could ask,
Tried this ROM with gapps.
-Flashed ROM, then gapps - play services FC. Couldn't get past "Getting info..."
-Flashed ROM and GApps, unbelievably slow. Couldn't get past welcome screen-slow.
If GApps isn't a problem for you, then I definitely recommend this ROM. Its super stable and smooth.

Substratum and edge gusture supported or not??

Just want to know a few things.
Does this ROM support signature spoofing coz i dont use GApps. Unfortunately a few apps i use require play services so i need to use MicroG
Does c2api is enbled by default ? Or switch is given.
Assuming Volte & dual 4 G is working coz they are required for day to day working having dual sim in use.
One out of topic question but any ans will enhance my knowledge.
Do we have pie compatible xposed ? Coz want to use xprivacyLua to fine grain control.

1. Sometimes reboot during call.
2. No sound in Speaker mode in during call.
3. Auto brightness reduces the brightness to minimum after locking and unlocking the screen.
and also if I disable auto brightness, then the brightness resets itself to maximum.
rest everything is perfect

Dual 4G (volte) not working.
Search bar at the home screen doesn't work. Cannot type anything or cannot remove it.
Otherwise ROM is smooth.

Welcome to LIQUID REMIX! Liquid Remix is a New age mix of all the best ROMs of today with added essence from the older days. Android 8.1 project based from the old lead dev of Liquid smooth, Liquid0624 (Ryan), along with Apophis9283 (Steaven), Wrongway213 (Tyler) and community contributors! All features are open source and will stay that way as the community is the most important thing to our project! While donations are always appreciated, it is important that we highlight that we are NOT here for donations, we enjoy bringing the Android community these Roms and Kernels for OnePlus 5 & 5T; we sincerely hope that you can all enjoy the Roms as much as we enjoy bringing them to you.
Our Android Development Team is very end user oriented; we care about what you want and bringing it to you. We do as much as we can to keep our users happy while primarily focusing the aims on stability, speed, optimizations, other additions and features that complement the Roms as well as some frequently requested user add-ons.

Recommended Clean Flash:
1. Go to Recovery "Wipe"
2. Factory Reset
3. Advanced Wipe
4. Dalvik/Art Cache, System, Data and Cache ONLY!! DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE
5. Swipe to Wipe
6. Flash Rom and Gapps (Then anything else you might install such as Magisk, etc)

can't pass setup
flashed latest (nov 2018) radio, bootloader and vendor before flashing the rom.

Will look into this although I haven't experienced it myself. Until then, I will be moving the latest build to my private folder until further notice.

omg liquid smooth was the best rom of all time i am gonna try this i miss that team dearly
