Hi,
so there's the deal. I have Samsung Galaxy Watch and I love it. I'd like to use NFC Payments with it, but for that, the phone has to have Samsung Pay installed. I downloaded the APK and installed it, but when I try to start it it shows splash screen and then quits.
Is there any way to get it to work? I know it supposedly works on other Android NonSamsung phones..

That means you have downloaded wrong APK for your device you need to find a working version of software for your device.

LOL Really?? Since the release there were no updates of the Samsung Pay? Why do I see like 30 different apks then?
You should understand that not every phone will support the latest version of the software. You might have to use a previous versions to be able to place it with your device so it can finally work. At the moment 3.8.72 is the latest Samsung Pay apk.
Ok, I thought you referred to different architectures. I've tried 10 of the latest versions and all did the same. So do you know which version works or are you just stating general things?

Well when I tried Google camera I also tried like 10-15 versions and only 2 of them worked but also with glitches I just started from the latest and to the bottom. It's hard to figure it out which one is the best for your device there can be no working at all or it requires additional libriries to be installed.

Yes, to the best of my knowledge you're correct on both points. I'm really missing Xposed coming from M8
Thanks.. Same here from an M7.

Hi there,
got one question for you. I hope I find some help here.
I rooted my G930F few months ago and now just updated to android 7 nougat beta. Now my device is not rooted.
The problem is, that when I try to launch S Health app, the app says something about that KNOX is tripped. Aaaand I'm not able to launch it. It has something to do with SHealth's connection with knox, implemented in version 5.0 (for security reasons).
The app itself is in my opinion a crappy piece of software on itself, but it's the only way to see all data from my Gear s3 watch on my phone...
Any ideas how to make it work? Any way to set a fake status for knox?
Thanx so much for any advice...
I have the same problem
There is no way to untrip the Knox so unless you find a modified S Health app (don't know if there is one or it's even possible), you are out of luck.

Yet with 6.0.1 in root never had a problem! The problem has appeared with Android 7.
The problem has appeared with the new version of S Health as OP himself or herself states. So except for downgrade or installing old version of SHealth I don't see a way to use it. Can probably be somehow hacked but who knows how

I tried to go back to old version that does not work either!
So Samsung is making our phone unusable once rooted if we want to use Gear watches or all the features of the phone? Very sad and a very bad move from Samsung.
I am rooted with Android 6 and can still use it, I will consider strongly about this before moving to Android 7 then... Thanks for the head's up.
Maybe install a rom that doesn't contain knox stuff?
so any solution ???
Try previous versions of S Health?
No previous version works. Only if we go back to MM s health works again
WTF happens?
Solution HERE
Thanks!
It worked! Thanks!

I'm just about fed up with this whole android thing. I'm seriously considering going to Apple simply because the updates are brainless and quick. It's now January 2020 and I still don't have the AT&T update for 9.0. on my Note 8.
AT&T tells me a Samsung's problem, and samsung tells me it's AT&T's problem.
People have told me how easy it is to use odin to get it done, but I'm not techie, and I don't want to make a mistake. If there truly is an easy way to do this, I'd really appreciate some help. You can PM me for my phone number if it's a simple walkthrough thing. Eventually I'm gonna want to sell this phone, and I'm not gonna be able to do it if I haven't even gotten to 9.0.
I think you could take it to a best buy and have the Samsung guys update it for you.

You can use any of the latest firmware version updates because they're all the same exact thing! You can download the one that says it's for Verizon/T-Mobile etc etc and it won't matter you just need to do it manually using Odin like @TsunaXZ just said. I know you said you have never used Odin before but I promise it's not as scary as you think it is in fact you'll laugh at yourself afterwards because it's that easy!

I have never never got an OTA on any of my devices. The Note8..Note9 or Note10. And I was told the same as you. For..and this is just me, I would rather use Odin vs OTA. I have seen several people who went the OTA route and it didnt load properly. Like MrMike said, odin is soooo easy. Good luck

Same. I'm on some weird build that no one seems to get and I can't use Odin cause I don't have a computer. I can only use the flash zip via SD card method and I can't find an actual file that works. Are you also on N950USQS5CSA1?
It's N950USQS5CRL1. AT&T Note 8
Downloaded Odin, Samsung Drivers etc. But can't find the correct 9.0 firmware download. It's like
AT&T doesn't want you to.
It's supposed to be easy right? Feel free to PM me if you're interested in walking me through it. Or maybe just send the link?

That is EXACTLY what it is, AT&T has locked all of their firmwares down and they aren't accessible. You can go to the link below for some of the latest firmwares. I unfortunately don't know what the current AT&T Stock is because the carriers seem to be being just a hair off on their build numbers. So if you choose on to flash in the link below, I can't guarantee that you'll get OTA's

I bought s10+ over it

DEX or HDMI support, is the most important feature for a DEVELOPER TO CREATE FOR NOTE 10LITE!Hardware wise is capable, but SOFTWARE is not permitting this feature. I hope that a DEVELOPER will be so kind to HELP on that!!!
And propably a valid twrp version to flash it!
maybe someone, i.e. @butchieboy ?, smart is capable of porting twrp to the Note 10 lite with this instruction which seems to be easy for linux users or with those skills. See here: https://appuals.com/how-to-port-twrp-for-android-without-source/
On my side I am a bit familiar with Android Image Kitchen for windows (so far only used for themeing twrp for other devices to my needs, which worked excellent) but the above guide says it should be done with AIK for Linux, so I am afraid to mix (brick) things up....

If it was as simple as stated in those instructions I would have had this fixed ages ago, but it is not. It relies on signatures that need to be generated to match the devices vbmeta.img file otherwise it will not boot. I tried this, but got nowhere with the signatures and little support from other devs to help me with creating the signatures. @butchieboy has a Magisk flashable I created to get some mods in the device but other things like screen mirroring or HDMI being fixed need to be done directly on the image of the device. I will release an R version of the latest firmware N770FXXS7DUB1_N770FOJM7DUB1_XSG, which is the one I have and release it soon.
Whats up Javix. I was testing Twrp for another developer a week ago. We got knowhere. I give up on the 10 lite as At&t has blocked it and i can no longer use it on my Network. So I basically have a Mint condition phone that is useless to me. Damn At&t are starting to do this with any F version device when you try to use it on their network it automatically suspends your number as an unauthorized device. I bought a S20FE unlocked bootloader Twrp and rooted. Good luck with 10 lite, mine is back in the box..lol

Hi there butchieboy!
If your N10Lite is of no use to you, is there a chance I can help with TWRP and ROMs?
I can help with TWRP (maybe official too) and porting ROMs. You can check my credentials as I have ported many roms to the Galaxy M30.
Let me know if you are interested. Message me on telegram @cha0scl0wn.
