You can try going to /data folder and search for PUBG app folder and then delete it , and it'll start installation from play store , I used to have similar problem on my Samsung S6

Thanks alot I deleted the obb folder from TWRP recovery and now everything is working just fine

I flashed cyanogenMod music edition v4 then i flashed google apps form recovery it said that installation complete but when booted my device i did'nt see any apps like market etc i tried to flash again but same result. please help me guys!

you are correct, i faced that problem before i install my creed 3.5 rom and after using gapps it worked smothly
U wont see market immediately after flashing gapps lol..u need to add google account then it will prompt for market apps installer den u can download maps,gmail n other Google products
BTW use gapps titled something like 10-5-12

Same problem here. App used to work until i switched to ART. Now it won't install in either ART or Dalvik.

You may have to delete a left-over apk in /data/data.

Asphalt 8 not getting installed on nexus 5 (error: app not installed)
Even I m having the same problem. I m unable to install it from a shared apk file, but it got installed on other Non kitkat android device..
I tried changing the run time to art, deleted every pre installed files of asphalt but all in vein..
Anyone got a solution..

If it's a "shared" apk, then it might work on the other device because it might be designed for it. Not sure about Asphalt particularly, but many Gameloft games have different versions for different processors. That, or you need to make sure you get the game data folder with the .obb in it that goes with the "shared" apk.
But if you are making a clean install from the Play Store, then I'd try to make sure I was on Dalvik (sure, it probably runs on ART, but seems like things install from the Play Store on Dalvik better, in my experience) and like PhilipTD mentioned, if you have had it installed before, delete the game data folder in /data/data and I'd delete the obb folder on the /sdcard in either the /android or /Gameloft folder (I don't have the game and too lazy to Google it), if that didn't get removed either. If all that fails, and you purchased the game, let Gameloft know and I'm sure they could point you in the right direction or discuss a refund.
Uninstall any other gameloft games
It will work definitely!

I just found out that if I use apkeditor to change the installation location to internal the recompiled apk will install, I tried it with a couple of apps I couldn't install on my galaxy s4 with lollipop and now I can :laugh:
So far for me it was Exoplanet Explorer and Turbo Dismount, and on both I just had to change the default location to internal.

I dont what i messed up but now when i click on any apk file using any file manager like root explorer or es file manager i get and error "Sorry,no application available"
1. i have tried reflashig the rom i m using right now CM11 unofficial android 4.4.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525713)
2.apps downloaded from play store are installling automatically(as it usually does) and working perfectly
3.I am able to instally apk files as system apps (by moving it to system/apps folder and changing permissions and then rebooting the device)
4.I DONT WANNA DO A FACTORY RESET!!!!!!!
Plz help me out here guys....

Dont worry doing factory reset, just back up your data and apps using titanium backup and simply restore them after doing factory reset.

When the apps from the playstore install without problem, i'd say your installer is fine. I've encountered this problem as well, but only if I was using the wrong file/wrong file extension..

Hi there, m sure that yu tried to remove bloatware from your device or yu may have rooted ur phone. i would suggest to download and install adb driver and debloater applications in your pc first. after that open debloater app with phone connected to ur pc and begin to read files. there in the list of files you can see googleinstaller.apk which will have a tickmark. that means yu have removed that file in ur phone and so yu are facing this problem. untick and click apply and yu are good to go

My problem is specific with ES Explorer File PRO app in Android 10 too, and I solved this issue installing the "APK Installer by Uptodown" app from Google Play. It's free and no ads.
Maybe if we choose "certified installer" and marked as app "default" to open apk files and later we change manually to "package installer" in the file where that this choice was record, the ES Explorer File could use the package installer native of android to install apk files.

,i flashed playstore zip through CWM, i tried factory reset. I tried downloading a google play apk but everytime i open it after install it crashes.

If you only deleted playstore app.. . Then just copy playstore apk file to /systemi/app and restart your device....

So I have the newest Lineage OS on my OpO (with twrp,supersu,busybox and gapps) And I can't install anything from the playstore that requires an obb file. I've also tried to manually place a obb file int he correct folder and installing the apk from elsewhere. the apk starts fine but can't see the obb file.
This Issue started happening since quite a few months and multiple versions of Lineage OS didn't change anything.
I'm actually not sure if I should make this post here or rather in a Lineage OS place since it's OS specific probably but it thought I asked here first if anyone else had this Issue with a OneplusOne or knows a solution.

But playstore has been updated multiple times since then and i used gapps only once to initially get the playstore

Gapps are meant to be flashed only once after clean flash.
What error it gives when installing large apps using Play store?
A standard cant download application error error code 0
