i have a px5 head unit,
when try to use stering whell buttons as long press (for eg. rewind music) its skips songs
any chance to fix it somehow ?

i have problems with steringwhell buttons.
depends of MCU if i press next/previous button it skips 2 or 3 songs... if i try others MCU then next/previous work ok but other roll on steringwheel start to skip songs and stops workig as roll.
anyone have this issue ?
also on factory settigs there is no option to map buttons :/ there is but empty and cant do there nothing
problem solved:
- in factory settings ->canbus -> Key Mode -> Key mode 2
now everything works like it should

is any chance to simulate longpress ? or link "touch on screen button" to a hardware button ?
in opel i have hidden menu in board computer but i need to press for 5 seconds SETTINGS button which android HU dont have :/
in some models it work from touch panel but not for me...

i have a PX5 in my vw golf 5 all is ok but i cannot change track with the steering wheel button. Sometimes when i start my car i can choose 'Video' in my dashboard and in this case it is possible to change track but i dont know how i do this!!The access to video menu is totally random at start...

I've changed stock head unit to: px3/2gb ram/ android 7.1.2/ MTCDE_HZC device. (car: Opel Corsa D)
There is one strange problem: steering whell buttons working very quick, one push gives me two(often) or three(sometimes). For example i'm listening first song, push to button for next song it goes third song, (back button works same too) / or in radio jump too further station. Every buttons working like that, i'm pushing "mute" it's countinue with volume (in unit toasts says: mute on/mute off (very quick))
i've looked everywhere in settings but can't change (include factory settings). Am i missing something
(i hope i've explain, sorry for my poor English)

Probably a faq:
I’ve installed power amp, and want that to launch instead of the stock music player when hitting the music button. Power amp is working ok.
Don’t see a way to add new actions in button key study factory settings.
Don’t see a way to over-ride the behavior of the existing music action listed in the button key study.
Beyond that question, seems the builtin music app needs to be left running (background) in order for steering wheel button presses to trigger track forward/etc in power amp. How to fix to no longer need the default music app?

I was trying to assign „mute“ and „screen off“ to a single steering wheel key, i.e. if I press the key the device should mute and shut the screen off at once.
I have:
- Dasaita Max10 (px6)
- stock android 10 (march 21 version) rooted with magisk
- mcu 3.75
- mtcd tools
- Automagic
i couldn‘t manage to set any working volume or mute settings with automagic.
With mtcdtools I could use pause, but theres no option to turn the screen off.
with stock SWC-App I can assign screen off to a key, but not mute simultaneously.
I would very much appreciate any hints.
