Volume Widget Display Volume Levels? - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys what's up, I have been in search of an app that will show volume levels like the old Audio Manger app would do before they discontinued it.

I have tried Audio Guru but that widget does not update as the levels change.

If you mean the volumes levels as in the volume level of ringtones, bluetooth, etc.., you should have that already. When you press the volume button up or down and the volume slider pops-up on the screen, there is a drop down button on the slider, tap it and you'll get a pop-up showing your other volume levels.

Bump:
I've been sporadically looking for a replacement as well. (Yes, I am aware of the volume slider+tap) We are talking about a widget that offers an "at a glance" display on the screen widget showing the current levels like in the OPS's 1st screenshot

I think I found a 3rd party app that has a widget like you want. Go to Playstore, do a search for "The Control Volume Widget".

Screen timeout on calls.

Has anyone discovered a way to keep the screen on longer while on a call?
Is there any way to change this? If I missed another post on this I apologize. Thanks
You can use power manager in the Google Marketplace

One of the best 99 cent app I've ever purchased. Support the Dev, he just lost his job, and the app kicks ass.
Yeah, Power Manager has the option to a max of 2 minutes, but it has never worked for me, it always times out waaay earlier.

i use shake awake free app that causes your phone to turn back on if you move it a certain amount, you can ajust the sensitivity to howevver much you like. mine basically stays on if the phone moves at all while i am on a call
Awesome I will try these. Thanks for the responses.
Power manager doesn't change the timeout for the screen during calls. The only way to change that currently is using the shake program mentioned above. I use both programs and love both of them so when power manager doesn't help with the screen timeout during a call use it for all the other great benefits and select monitor so it can apply the different profiles (which you can customize) for all the situations.
I tired these apps they both seem to work pretty well, any ideas on how this could be done without using an app?

[Q] iPhone-like music controls

Would it be possible to use a hardware track pad (if equipped) to simulate the same thing the iPhone/iPod touch used to do on a double click, that is bring up music controls with a volume slider, Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Song title and Artist? Sorry If this is wrong section.

Idk if you would be able to use the track pad as it would likely just select what you have up on your screen but I think if someone coded it as a homescreen replacement and used the same workaround other devs have for other homescreen additives and let you select your homescreen in the app they make and then that be the one home press and have the music controls be the double press home... or have it as the long press on search and not have any of the home type stuff
bump.
this is a great idea.
Power Strip? I think you could do exactly what you want with the Power Strip app. Not sure if you can use trackpad click though but you can launch it from anywhere using a double-click home button, or other option, and have it overlay your music app widget on top of whatever screen you're on so you can change tracks and whatnot.

[Q] Notification Power Control Widgets for Sensation ?

I just hate new notification system on Sense 3.0 ROMs. It is sometimes slow, and I hate switching from notifications to quick settings to change WiFi, 3G or smth else.
So is it possible to get on our Sense 3.0 ROMs that mod, I am sure it is possible, but are there any good soul that can port it ?
This is the mod I am talking about

Try Widgetsoid it has a ton of customizing features. That's what I use in my notification window. Works great little to no slow down when opening.
Yeah, but I want to have those in notification bar, not on homescreen

After you have created your widget, it is under "Advanced" and check the "Notification" box. That will hide it from your home screen and put it in your notification tray.

Can it be set up so when I hit the recent apps key it brings up the pie?
Does not work for me. Tried all device inputs.

Yeah, noticed it stopped working for me too. You can still use pie controls
Edit: Got it working with input 2 again (actually just made it more responsive). Changed the min scores to 50% and 5 touch points.

I dont don't think that's possible. Probably best to ask the dev

Is there a app that is a lite of LMT launcher, only have Piecontrol and hide/unhide navigation bar? Thanks!
Aha, great design.
Force closes a lot here. I only want to use the pie as shortcuts, ICS Browser has something similar (in fact it looks the same) for web browsing shortcuts and love it.

Volume control like iPhone

I'm new to android and I'm a long time iPhone user. I must say I really like the S7. But is there a possibility that I can control the system, ringer & notification volume, in one setting? Just the same like on iOS?
Yes. Just push volume button. There will be a pop up screen with slider and in the right corner you see a arrow, click on it and you can control all volumes.

I created a tasker profile to link the ring and notification volume.
When I hit the volume button, both ringer and notification volume adjust together.
I could share the profile on here if I knew how to [emoji52]
