I have the 12GB RAM model ordered from OnePlus direct.
I have a TMO sim installed. It works great.
However when connected to wifi, it will periodically reset where I have to unlock the phone, wifi connection is lost and phone shows no sim. The LTE connection resumes but wifi remains disconnected. It will work fine like this until I reconnect to wifi then in seconds to a minute or so the process repeats. It's annoying AF as one can imagine. I turned off wifi calling but it still does it. Any ideas?
I'm on the latest build. I want to make sure I don't have a defective phone before I root, etc.
EDIT: This should have been posted in the questions section, can a mod move it?
Just an update. I thought this was solved by connecting only to 5GHz AC Wave2 APs with 80MHz channel width instead of 160. Then this AM it starts resetting. Both cell service and wifi go poof then cell service (LTE) comes back and the wifi radio is turned off. Turning the wifi radio back on will trigger it again sometimes in 10 seconds, sometimes after a few minutes. Very annoying!
Did you get this figured out?

We experienced an issue while reconnecting to the WIFI network after an unavailability of the connected WIFI network. Our issue can be reproduced by following the below steps.
1. Turn on the Wi-Fi adapter if not turned on. Wi-Fi is connected.
2. Went out from WiFi coverage area. Wireless manager display WiFi ‘unavailable’. Then after about 5 seconds, it shows ‘connecting’. About 10 seconds after that, it shows ‘unavailable’ again. This cycle continues.
3. Came back to WiFi coverage area. It does not detect WiFi network and wireless manger continue to display the above cycle.
4. Turned off the Wi-Fi adapter. Turned it on again. Then WiFi network is detected and WiFi is connected.
This issue in step 3 occurs roughly 4 out of 5 times when I come back to WiFi coverage area.
Additionally when it fails, I noticed that it does not show any of the available WiFi networks when I search for networks using ‘Find WLANs’ option. The OEM version that I used is 02.40.0211. I have attached the ‘Wireless log’ of a test that produced the issue. Also I have attached the screen shots.
Moreover, We have downgraded one of our devices to OEM version 02.31.0002 and this issue is still there.
If the phone goes to sleep mode(Idle) & then try to reconnect , then it connects successfully.
Please see the attached screens & the log file for more information.
Suggestions to overcome this & reasons for this issue are highly appreciated.
So I'm attempting to use WiFi tether router. I'm on stock OF6 rooted. It works for approximately 10-20 minutes and then the WiFi on my phone toggles off. WiFi tether router stays on but of course, ceases functioning. Any ideas?
I have keep WiFi on during sleep set to always and everything else in advanced unchecked. I've tried the two WiFi options in WiFi tether router on and off. I have sprint connection optimizer turned off.
I'm having the same problem, it keeps disconnecting after several minutes. The phone shows the WiFi Tether Router running normally, but it disconnects from my iPad and disappears from my list of wireless networks. If I disable and restart, it again works for several minutes, then disconnects
Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport
Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem ????
Tab 2 rooted w/cwm CM11 since forever see IMG.
Wifi goes out, have to toggle off/on then it stays on for a while again. Sometimes its on for 30 to 45 mins and sometimes it cuts out after 10 mins.
Could wifi doohicky be worn out?
No battery saver app running, just greenify. Tab has minimal apps running and 2 games, have not added apps for over a year.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Solved/ :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
My issue was not the tablet or OS/firmware, the problem was my WiFi router.
Running a netgear N600 DB WiFi router with multiple devices connected via Ethernet cable and WiFi signal throughout the house, all other devices worked properly with no issues whatsoever when it came to internet access.
Yet tablet kept disconnecting or loosing signal and would have to toggle WiFi off/on to get it started again. Never suspected router because all other devices worked properly with no signal strength loss or degradation.
After monkeying around with tab with no solution I decided to restart router, had nothing to lose, whatever, and as soon as I restarted router issue was gone, turn on WiFi and it stays on until I turn it off, even if tablet is idle for days, I wake it and WiFi connects immediately.
Now the router was having some signal issue with just the tab and nothing else,I also have two other devices connected that are similar in age and technology to this tab and these showed no signal issues whatsoever.
So the moral of the story is, don't discount your router just because everything else is working properly with the router and network.
Now my tab has to see a therapist because I called it "a piece of $#it" and it wasn't even the tabs fault.

Hi,
I have a problem with wifi connection on Honor 8 (FRD-L09C432B399, EMUI 5.0.1) - I have no problem to connect to wifi networks, but wifi is spontaneously shutted down regardless of whether I am connected or not on router/modem. The wifi switch is still on (blue), but all visible networks disappear, the phone disconnects from the connected network, and it takes a few seconds before the phone finds networks again and automatically connects to the known network. I made a factory reset, but without success, rather it seems to me that the situation has worsened and wifi fails nearly every 10 seconds.
Any suggestions how to fix this problem? Thx.

Are you sure, 'Keep wifi off, during sleep' isnt set to 'Always'? As you already have resetted to factory set it shouldnt be. Although please verify.
Yes, it is; also 'Wi-Fi+' is dissabled.
This is my second phone to have this problem. First was my old S4, now my S7 has the same problem. Basically, I want to watch YouTube or Netflix on my phone over Wi-Fi, and I want to listen to it on a bluetooth headset. But after a few minutes of watching/listening, my Wi-Fi connection always dies, I get that little exclamation point next to the Wi-Fi symbol in my notification panel, and the only way to fix it is to turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back on. It'll work for another couple minutes, then die again and need to be reset. Bluetooth stays connected the whole time and never drops. It's just the Wi-Fi that gets dropped. If I turn Bluetooth off and just listen via phone speaker or wired headphones, no problem, Wi-Fi can cruise all day.
The research I've done suggested that 2.4GHz might be causing a problem, but my network is 5GHz. Another suggestion was to switch the phone to a static IP address, that didn't help. I'd also read that Android has problems with IPv6, so I went to disable that in my router and discovered that it's never been on.
So, I found three solutions on my own, and none of them worked. Now it's time to reach out to the brain trust here. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem? Vanilla S7, no root or ROMs. Thanks!

Have you tried the usual first step in troubleshooting, have you tried booting to recovery and wiping the cache partition?
You can also try flashing the stock firmware for your model number via Odin.
