Volume Rocker on my OnePlus 7Pro is detached on one side. When pushing on the top part, the bottom part extents all the way out (image attached). Funny it has always been in a case. Contacted OnePlus and looking at repair or exchange before it detaches completely.
Just checking if anybody else has seen something like this?

If I knew that I'd have the answer and wouldn't post....
I also have this since yesterday. There was a nasty drop from a running bike but it did not leave any visible damage on it due to the bumper. Unsure what to do now.
After checking further, the volume rocker just fell out. There are small plastic clips that kept it into place that broke on the rocker (the phone had a metal counterpart on the edges of the cutout, these are fine). I fixed this temporarily by sticking adhesive in the middle of the cutout and pressing the rocker to it. Does anyone know if a replacement volume rocker can be ordered somewhere?
reporting back on my OnePlus repair experience. I shipped the phone via prepaid FEDEX to the Acer Repair Center (shipped from Ohio to Texas) Monday evening. It arrived Tuesday morning at the repair facility. It was shipped back out the same day and arrived today, Wednesday morning. It's the same phone and the rocker is repaired. Not only that, they also shipped a brand-new, free set of OP bullet headphones.
WOW! That's just incredible and of course I am extremely psyched that I already have my phone back. Kudos to OnePlus! That's a headline
Has same issue on my device, pretty disappointed with Oneplus

there is a thread here on XDA in which folks take the back off to replace it with a transparent one. I am sure there is a good video someplace that shows how to do this.
Here is a nice one. Looks like the back comes off fairly easily.

Purchasing the phone does not negate your manufacturer warranty from oneplus. You can still contact them and obtain warranty service.

$14.99 So expensive.. TT

The galaxy s4 branding is just on the US version. I dont have that on my handset purchased here in india.
I found this that's a little cheaper and it's brushed aluminum. According to the review it doesn't work with NFC so if you use NFC I would say to keep searching.

OEM...from hong kong. doubtful. I hate how these people get away with this on eBay.
been looking for one myself for when my verizon S4 gets here. want to get rid of that verizon branded door but Im looking for the one that says Galaxy SIV on the back. they have a bunch of ebay but you can tell they arent OEM because the font is completely off
I found this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Battery-Bac...e_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item3cd17ccae9
I am going to order and report back when it arrives.
Alright. I'm thinking of waiting maybe 2 weeks, that way the price drops a little. Only reason why I'm getting a new battery door is that my new one.. Sorta dented.. :|

I ordered one white and one black, I got both color S4 phones but the white is going back, has some defects I'm not happy with, keeping my Black 32gb.
gonna order the Google'ized S4 in white next month.
but on topic, I ordered on these covers from a seller on ebay "money saver" for $15+1.25 shipping, there are cheaper sellers but I'm doubtful. usually you get what you pay for. Been to Hong Kong many times, not every thing is fake, usually just the really cheap stuff is.
Im also trying to find an oem back cover.. so i can get rid of the carrier brabding in the back. I want my phone to look as clean as possible .. the only thing i found was a full housing replacement. But i dont need all that. And is almost 40 dollars

Searching on ebay for Note 4 NFC I noticed several vendors selling QI receivers that include NFC. There seems to be vendors in the USA selling ones that only have 5 pins (four at the side, one up top). Some vendors from China sell pads with an additional, 5th pin on the side. What's the extra pin for?
I've tried 3 different ones now and NFC is okay to horrible, and tap to pay useless on all of them.
As far as the 5th pin, fiddling around with a multimeter, I don't think that connection is doing anything.

I've had my phone for less than 2 months and some small white patches have appeared on the screen. It's as though the battery is pushing the back of the screen. They're only visible when there's a white background. Does anyone else have this or know a fix? I'm guessing it's a hardware problem so I'll have to go through Huawei's exchange procedure which I'm not looking forward to.
Attached is a picture of the problem, although it's not my phone.
I have this issue too, is not a really big deal but is very annoing in a high class phone...
Same here. A bit annoying and largely visible on a white background. I'm starting to think that this phone is not a high class phone other that the price. Too many faults starting to occur...

In the mean time I rang huawei and they won't repair it they said its a Asia device not UK which I'm a bit confused as my device was sealed with a 3 pin uk plug so I presumed it will have UK warrenty. Well I think I'll cut my loses and sell it soon with or without repairing it and go for a device with better warranty support.

Yup i have the same problem with my phone as well. i started noticing them after 2 months of use. I will take my phone to the repair centre and see what the problem may be.
Could you please let us know what they think of it and mostly does the warranty apply here.
I'm going abroad for 2 weeks so I'll get in touch with them when I get back.
Ok. I might take this phone back to the shop where I bought it and let them worry about it. It's a pity because after flashing to lollipop it's so good...

Got a reply (emailed them yesterday with picture of the white spots) from local Huawei service about the white marks and it seems that they will fix the screen within the warranty. I'll take the phone there tomorrow...but as usual it will take week or so to come back... so fingers crossed
Hi,
I face the same problem on my Mate 7 on end of december (i have it in the begenning of november) send it to repair (4 weeks) it change the phone completly (it also stuck at bootloader).
Two month after this the same problem happen again, I send it again (4 weeks) this time he have change the screen only.
I think the size of the screen (and surely the building quality of this phone) make it really sensitive to light pressure (in a pocket etc...).
I cross fingers to don't have this problem again.

What is the difference btw M7 and P8 ?
Not a great deal, bit quicker, much better camera, better build , very slim, nicer screen, 3gb ram standard, I love my p8 its size is nice but if they could just sqeeze in a 5.5" not 5.2 it would be 10/10 from me but instead its a 8/10 as battery isn't too great

Hi Guys,
I have OnePlus One whose screen is broken. The touch is also not working.
I contacted a local repair guy, he told me he can install the Original Original OnePlus Display for ₹ 2500 (~37$).
He also has duplicate display for ₹1500 (~23$)
He said he has another OnePlus One device from which he will remove the display.
I dont know whether to trust him or not. Is there anyway through which I can make sure the display he applied ot my phone is genuine ?
Thanks
