Hlo guys. Hope you are all doing well. I have a question. As the title says, When I play a song in the stock music player, the sound quality is awesome, beyond awesome and the bass is punchy. But when I play a song through 3rd party music apps like Spotify or even through YouTube, the sound quality is not the same. It lacks clarity and bass is not so good. Is there a way to use or to force the Sony audio engine to work in the 3rd party music apps? Any help would be appreciated

Anyone know a good app to use for audio equalizing? I'm getting a pair of q460's to use with my tablet and I read it could do with some equalizing.
If you're just looking for an equalizer for music, several music apps include a built-in equalizer, one example being PowerAMP. If you want a system-wide equalizer, there's a free app called Equalizer in the Market.
Both PowerAMP and Equalizer work fine on the Transformer.
I hope that poweramp adds some notification bar controls for honeycomb like the stock Google music app. Not necessary though as my headphones have the controls on one side.
Did you try Volume+ app in below link

EQ + VR + overall volume boost
Just installed a DSP Manager that actually works. Previous ones would blow out the bass and make it distorted. Now my audio sounds incredible, but it only works on 3rd party music players like Google Music and Player Pro.
Is there any way to tell Samsung Music Player to use DSP Manager instead of the built-in EQ?
Hi everyone, I'm on cm9 since november and I haven't found yet a way to listen to some good music.
I use jetaudio plus, which has a lot of usefull settings, but I don't use any sound mod.
I have found a srs mod for cm9 but it sucks, I have tried awesome beats but it doesn't work, I have tried acid audio engine 5.0 but my speaker doesn't work, so what would I use? Accept every kind of device
Play Music
Jus install the google Play Music and DSPmanager. Both are good companion of each other
NOTE: if u increase BASS and Enable BASS BOOST, do not turn d vol too high as it may result in BAD MUSIC.
Hi guys,
this time my question is clear:
Do foreign music player (that is all apps that can play music except the one pre-installed on our XZP) take advantage from Sony's sound enhancements such as DSEE HX or ClearAudio+ ?

Yes these sound enhancements are system wide now
The built in one can't be turned on for bluetooth earbuds. So what options do I have? I don't want to root.
well if you have Google Play Music,it has good equalizer in its app and its a good one for playing music with good bass effects and many more.
moreover most of the other music players has inbuilt equalizers.
