How do I unlock bootloader on galaxy c7 pro SM-C7010 - General Questions and Answers

Hello,
Please I need help. I want to root my galaxy C7 Pro Oreo 8.0 android version SM-C7010, but I can't unlock its bootloader because there's no option called OEM Unlock in developers settings (I tried all the methods
which I've seen on internet to make the option appear but it's still not there) so how do I root my phone if I don't have an option of OEM Unlock?

Anyone help please?

Hi
Thats very odd, can you send me a screenshot of where the option should be

I'm not finding any stock updates for your device but you might be able to use custom ROMs.

Nokia 6.1 2018 (TA-1043) Bootloader

Hello everyone!
Today I checked out again how to unlock the bootloader of my Nokia 6.1 2018, I found a video on YouTube that explains that it is enough to activate the developer mode, deactivate it and re-enable it again to unlock the OEM button.
That said, since the discovery is not mine and I just wanted to share this, I put the name of the video and channel on it, since I can't share the link and the video:
Unlock OEM on Nokia 6.1 Plus | New Trick | BUTTON UNBLOCKED | HOW?
PiXinCreate
But it won't unlock the bootloader. It only "Allow the bootloader to be unlocked".

That's a dummy toggle which was never of use and never will be. Even when you enable it, the fastboot reports 0 for the
Code:
fastboot flashing get_unlock_ability
meaning that the bootloader cannot be unlocked.
The only way to unlock it still is by using the paid methods.
paid method?

Hi, you should use Google for that. Because XDA doesn't permit discussion of paid services.

Before sharing, check if that works or not. The official unlock does not support any phones as of today.

Hello,
are there any updates since 2019? I was able to unlock the OEM button. What would you suggest as next steps to unlock the bootloader?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this is a true answer for your question but I recently bought a İqoo 8 Pro and I was tampering the Developer options and saw that in there "OEM unlocking" with explaining "Allow the bootloader to be unlocked" but I don't know how to do so and maybe it's diffrent in the İqoo 7

I saw that option in iqoo7 Developer settings aswell, but I don't know why it is being said that iqoo 7 can't be rooted ? May be senior members of XDA can give us some feedback on this.
This phone sucks when it comes to rooting and custom rom...i am still searching through Chinese forums..if I ever found.though I am positive...i will update

I know you people are modding enthusiasts but sorry to let you down. Iqoo feels like it's similar to apple. It doesn't allow bootloader unlocking. You may see bootloader unlocking option in developer menu but it's just redundant. Iqoo and most Vivo phones doesn't support bootloader unlocking. So please don't waste your time searching for this. Telling this an experienced user of Vivo.

So, that is it ! No point in keeping hopes now. Atleast we should be happy with iqoo7's performance and camera. Hopefully funtouch os will give us more tweaking options in the coming updates...
What you think about this web? They show a method to root the device. Anyone try this one? I can't make my phone works on b28 and looking for some Toher options, and maybe rooting phone can helps.

Take a look in the Vivo x70 pro plus forum, they already unlocked serval devices and I also saw iqoo 7 in the list.
I will try this also on my Iqoo7. Step by step procedure will coming soon.

It seems OEM Unlocking is NOT GREY OUT anymore.
Is OEM unlocking safely possible to do like any phone (Oneplus ... etc) or do we need Xiaomi timing permission?

Actually, no brand shares the official method for rooting the phone.
The rooting phone is commonly done by dev or advanced user. That's why I wonder if the rooting with the common method will be in use here. Only if we had the official and standalone release for ROM. The risk will be low & the chance will be high.

You need to wait a specific time.
It's a MediaTek device, you could try mtkclient (untested)

If you move it, add context.
