Hi I have a 7 pro 12gb uk bought direct from oneplus
It’s updated to 9.5.5 am I going to get 9.5.7
If it’s out where can I download it?
Just go to Settings > System > Updates and see if the update loads
Or download Oneplus Updater from the Play Store and it should let you download either the OTA update zip or full update zip, then flash manually through the location in settings listed above

Now on Oreo, of the couples of apps I sideloaded, when prompted for new updates, it would download the update, but the point it's supposed to install the update, it would abort and go back to the main Android TV launcher menu. Is there anything in the Settings I need to update to allow for sideloaded apps to update? Thank you!
So I got the B367 update for my US Honor 6x. If I click on the update normally it will say it's around 360mbs and if I want to download it. But if I click from the top right 3 dot button it says I can download the full package which is around 2 gbs. So my question is what is the difference.
The difference is that the 360MB update that you download OTA normally, acts on updating overwriting local files only (like Google security patch, bug fixes, ecc.) while the 2,47GB package contains everything for a clean system installation (like Huawei apps, services, ecc.)
Found 12.5.3, tried to download and update, stuck at `get info 0%' forever.
Found package installer system app update as well, tried to download, failed instantly.
Poco x3 NFC, EU version, no root, all standard apps.
The system app update history shows last successful update was on 29 Oct. On 3rd Nov, got the reminder of new miui ota. Then, spotted this bug.
Any solution?
Does the phone work? If have this problem also, but the phone can not write to the internal+external storage at all after the last update, so I can not download anything.
Nevertheless, you can download the official rom as recovery image on your own at mi.com/global => mi community => rom downloads => poco x3 nfc. Follow the flash instructions there (copy file to phone, select it in the update preferences section 'about phone=>miuiVersion') In the case you doesn't have the menu point to select the rom package as file. you have to tab multiple times on the miui logo in the update app to enable this menu point.

thanks mate.
it worked properly except this 'cannot download ' update problem.
Interestingly, the google play updates, camera, chrome browser download, xiaomi music plaer... all write files fine. no problem at all.
the apps that has the problem are:
1. xiaomi's getapp app
2. system app updater
3. the miui updater
i found somewhere the OTA zip and recovery zip. what's the difference between them?
if I download the from (recovery zip) where you mentioned, should I:
1. unlock the bootloader?
2. will the process you mentioned clear all my data after the installation?
Thank you so much. I am awaiting some confirmations before proceeding.
OTA is 'over the air' update, this is also a recovery image. There exists also fastboot images, but these are a different thing.
Make sure that you really download the right rom for your phone (look at the exact type number, e.g. RJGEUXM for European phones, look in the 'about phone' section what type yours is), also directly from xiaomi, as I mentioned. If you use these roms, you don't have to unlock the bootloader, and you also will not loose data. If you select them in the updater, it is just as you receive an OTA update. You have to unlock if you flash with adb/fastboot, but in this case you would loose your data during unlocking
Greetings
My phone is bound to update in 12 hours, Is there a way to stop this
I look in App list showing system files couldn't find anything
help me stop the update before its upgraded to OOS12
Go to about phone, version/build number and tap on it for about 7 times, search developer settings and find install updates on restart and disable it.
Hello, I updated my phone to the miui fold 13.1.21. It says that it has updates to the display while folded but do not see any changes. Anyone know what this update has? Thanks
I got the notification that the update was available, but I'm rooted with Magisk and when I tried to proceed with the instructions to preserve root by "uninstall magisk / restore images", I'm confronted with the "stock backup does not exist" so I'm not sure what to do next.

Ignore "After restoring stock images", since other devices can't receive OTA before do that (updater detects root and block OTA) but Xiaomi allows OTA download even when rooted.

AndroPlus: Thank you very much! I googled "Magisk stock backup does not exist" for hours and none of the articles mentioned that you can just ignore "after restoring stock images" on Xiaomi devices. You are a genius. It worked like a charm! The offical Magisk OTA guide should include your information.

One of my issues with this device was that the font on the folded screen was so small that emails and text messages were almost too small for me to read. If I unfolded the phone the font was much larger and more readable. Now, after applying this update, the font on the folded screen is much larger and much more readable.
With this update you now have the option to "swipe up to continue" with app when folded.
If anyone knows a way to force and update please let me know. I've used a VPN to change my location to China, India, etc and still get that no update is available.
when I try to flash manually in the app after downloading the file I get this message:
"miui couldn't verify update package update via usb instead"
I just need to know how I can get the update or flash the file without losing root in magisk and my data. thanks

Not sure I'd be brave enough to try this, but you can look it over:
GitHub - ianchb/MIUI-Flash-Freely: By changing the "support_ota_validate" value in the device_features file of any available Xiaomi or Redmi phone running MIUI 12/12.5/13 to "false", it is possible to freely select the .zip package in the System Upda

Updates are pushed to devices by IMEI number. I got my device the day it was released, so it will hit other devices shortly. There are no major improvements with this incremental update that I noticed other than the display (font size) on the folded screen and the new option to require a swipe when going from unfolded to folded. Are you placing the full Recovery ROM or the incremental update .zip into the update/incremental_OTA folder? Maybe try downloading from a different source. You can use the MIUI Downloader app available on the PlayStore to get the Recovery ROM or incremental OTA directly from the Xiaomi servers.

with this module it works perfectly now, just finished updating.
all you do is download the update file yourself and then you no longer get that error with this module.
just flash and follow the instructions you posted, install magisk after OTA and reboot. all good
So you can teach an old dog new tricks!
