Bargains!

Looks to be some massive bargains around at Gearbest in the upcoming sale on 11/11/16 (that is a date where format doesnt matter which helps)
http://www.gearbest.com/m-promotion-active-261.html
The three phones that looked most interesting to me are the :-
ASUS ZenPhone 2 (ZE551ML 4GB/16GB) @ £117.99 although not all UK LTE Frequencies are supported if it is suitable for you it's a very high spec device - http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_230531.html
ZTE Axon Mini - This does have all UK LTE bands and a decent mid range SD615 @ £117.99 - http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_247009.html?wid=11
XiaoMi Mi4 International 3G Version - if you are down with 3G only then this is a beast with an SD801 and a lovely 5inch FHD screen @ £102.09 - http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_452985.html?wid=4
You are not going to get anything like this kind of bang for buck at UK retailers and in the renewed spirit of international free trade then I thought, why not

Oneplus Nord price leaked?

Oneplus Nord price and design revealed? 261€ its a very good price! O hope it is true!

PS: sorry, website is in portuguese. Use Google translate
Nah it's about 500€.

In India, acc. to me base model of OnePlusNord will launch between ₹20k-25k
I don't see this device going for less than €499,
Pity really because they could give it for less
So it's not the same profil than before.... OnePlus is not a flagship killer (like OP5 with the last SOC 835 128/8Go for 529 €/$) now we have the same specs at the same price in 2020 with a low SoC, no 90hz screen, no stereo speaker, no IP68 cert... So always the same missing features, there any advantage to buy +500 $/€ this Nord phone instead a 7T at 499 €/$ or a Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro

No it's confirmed... 90hz was a non officiel information/leak specs, from some sources it's annonced only 60hz
So... Not "lol", i hope it's a mistake, because i want a 90Hz
From my point of view they failed to place the Nord as a successor to the X. They try to mark it eves as "more than a successor" but it is way to big to fulfill the role as a successor anyways for me. Also 500€ is not a "budget" phone, this is already a lot of money tbh. I had high hopes in this model but with this body size and price point this is already a nogo
wow 500 euro for a snapdragon 700 series phone is outrageous.

€400 would be fair, not worth it for any more but then again you are getting OxygenOS and the same 48mp camera on the 7 series, good sized battery too

Agreed, if this is 500 euros, it's dead in the waters.
If it was released in the U.S. at that price, it wouldn't be too bad.
But EU having so many options at budget pricing, this is a bad price.

Realme x50 came out at 349 with same chip so I can't see them justify a €500 price tag,
€400 would be fair but do think it will be hgher
is 399 euro or 499 euro (more ram and storage)
On Amazon there is an offer of €30 off the Nord in most countries like Spain and France of you have Amazon Prime so you can get it for €369 if you just sign up for a trial of Prime.
In UK the Offer is £379 minus £30 which is decent at £349

Cheapest 5G smartphone in India

Realme Nazro 30 Pro is the cheapest 5G smartphone in India costing just 17k (USD 235) with Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset. Do you think this smartphone is worth an investment?

General Where to buy from

This looks to be the ideal 'compact' flagship phone.
Will update thread when resellers have it.

That's probably you're only option unless there is a global release. Custom roms are good with popular Xiaomi phones.
I would have already ordered if it had all LTE bands .. but some are missing (for Germany)
so I will skip the Mi12 and stay with my Mi11.
The Global device will cost to much in germany... thats why I always buy a CN import device
Cheapest at AliExpress - https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesal...lesale&SortType=price_desc&page=1&groupsort=1
More availability to Australia than EU/UK/US though, like the 12X - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003744772674.html

Just got email phone was dispatched today.
I have Xiaomi 12 pro, but I don't know how to sell it to people in other countries. Maybe ebay is a good choice,I can put it on ebay if you need it
got mine today from tradingshenzen delivered to a suburban of germany/berlin
I purchased some from a Retail store in China. So far they've been really great....I just need to change to global version as Im not a fan of the CN one.
I got mine from a seller on eBay UK. CN rom with Google apps side loaded. Got the phone plus 3 cases. It cost me £450 after eBay gave me a discount.
I agree with eshlad about the CN rom, especially the Chinese notifications plus it doesn't connect to my car.
It has one plus point though, better signal reception than my Mi 11.

General P50 Pro is now available for pre-order in several countries in Europe

Personally I'm waiting to see if there's a GMS sideload method. I rely too much on google unfortunately. I had a P40 Pro for a while but back then it was possible to sideload Google services so there weren't any major issues... Unfortunately the Mate 40 Pro (global version) users cannot install Google Play Services TO THIS DAY, and I'm afraid it will be the same with the P50 Pro. The only "solution" is to buy a Chinese variant from China. For whatever reason, the LZPlay/Googlefier apps work on Chinese variants but not on Global ones. Not ideal!
Also the price is kinda high. €1199 in France. Freebuds Pro included for a short time. I was hoping it would be below €1k but I was deluding myself.
Price is 1199€ in Germany stores also, not very competitive pricing, but I guess some people will still buy it.
By pre-order, I bought a Huawei P50 Pro (JAD--LX9, Snapdragon 888 4G) in Russia on February 8 for 1025 euros. According to the promotion, Huawei Watch 3 Active LTE 46mm (305 euros) was received as a gift with the order.
I think it's a great price. Taking into account the fact that Samsung S22+ we have 1100 euros on pre-order, and S22 Ultra 1420. And as a bonus, there are only Galaxy Buds Pro (160 euros)
