Unable to find automatic daily wallpaper change again to disable it - HTC U12+ Questions & Answers

Hi everyone,
On the stock ROM I found an option to change my wallpaper daily, so every day I get a fresh (Chromecast-like) wallpaper.
The thing is; I am no longer able to find this option and therefore I get a new wallpaper every day, even if I enforce my own wallpaper.
Does anyone know where this can be disabled? I think it was called something like "Auto wallpaper" but I'm unable to find it in Android Settings, HTC Themes or any Google (Home, Services) app.

Never mind, found it as it was an option in the Resplash app :/

[Q] I can't find a feature like this.

I've been spending a while now trying to see if this feature exists via maybe a rooted app or an xposed module but I may be looking in the wrong places so I decided to ask here.
I'm looking for a way to open apps in the lock scree. Just like how you can make calls, navigate, and take pictures in the lock screen, I want to be able to open apps the same way.
For example, I have the hangout widget, all it does is show you the text and when i click on it, I have to unlock my phone to use the app. Why can't it open and then immediately go to the lock screen. I maybe slightly vulnerable then but I personally chose that by having that widget there. Does a feature like this exist?

Wallpaper issue

Recently I encountered that ain't able to change the wallpaper in my galaxy s8 plus. This message comes up
" Set as wallpaper
Seems that you have hidden all the apps from the list. To restore them, go to setting".
I tried from settings, apps to, rest app preferences, but I found all apps require permissions which took long time to give. Any help

Live Wallpaper picker.apk for CM11 - Solved

I found several threads about this issue that did get solved but it is not working for me.
I installed CM11 on my old phone and there is nothing newer for it. CM11 runs Android 4.4.4 .
I tried several live wallpaper picker apps and none of them worked.
If I install the app then I get the option in setting but it just crashes and does not allow to choose a live wallpaper. If I do as the thread suggests in the below link and this to just move the file to particular directory and change the permission and reboot then it would also crash.

app renaming

I have one app with a stoopit name that doesn't mean anything related to its' function.
It won't take to conventional rename/edit name.
It won't take to quick shortcut.
Any other ways or ideas to change it.?
It's a rooted HTC u11 with LSPosed installed running stock AOS9.
Try QuickShortcutMaker what is a simple and reliable program for quickly creating shortcuts on the home screen of your Android mobile device . In a few steps you will change not only the name of your applications on the screen, but also their icon – this is an ideal solution if you need to make some changes to your phone so that it does not look the same.

thanks. tried it. I want to change the name in the app drawer as this app is never on my home screen.
Would you like to contact the developer of the app for help about your issue?
sure. I'll give that a go. But I suspect it's an app issue of the one I want to change, coz most of the other apps I can edit the name within the AOS, in the drawer or not.

Question Google maps dark theme missing

Hi guys. I'm a satisfied samsung Tab S7 FE user, but there is one thing that annoys me. Google maps are always having white theme and I can not find any toggle in settings to change it. I have not found any solution yet (reinstalling an app, clearing cache and any data, latest update available installed). From my point of view, it looks like the google maps app does not support dark theme on this tablet. Of course it is not a very big deal, but I think that it should work on almost every device (there is no reason to delete it from settings section). If you have found a solution, please write the answer below. I would really appreciate that.

this is the google guide
try it
On your Android phone 10+ phone, open the Google Maps app .
Tap your profile picture or initial Settings. Theme.
Select one of the following options: Always in light theme: Dark theme is always disabled in Maps, regardless of system settings. ...
Tap Save.
source : google support
As I said, I can't find a toggle to change an app theme. On two of my phones I can change it easily. On the tablet this setting is not listed in settings section.

I think in tablets we can't change it because I have SM-T585 and google maps doesn't allow me to set dark mode theme
