[LOCKED BL]ROOT and FlashFire - Huawei Ascend G6

ROOT AND FLASHFIRE FOR HUAWEI ASCEND G6 (g6-u10) WITH LOCKED BOOTLOADERSince we cannot unlock our bootloader adn we can't install TWRP, I made this guide for ROOT the device with SuperSU and install Flashfire that does the same function as TWRP.
ROOTING:
Download the attatched apk
Install it on your phone
Open it and swipe down
Click on start now
When it finishes the check click on try root and wait until it roots it
CHANGING TO SuperSU:
Download mrw.zip attatched in the post
Extract it in your adb folder
Open a CMD and type:
Code:
adb push mrw /sdcard
When it pushes all files type:
Code:
adb shell
Then:
Code:
su
Now execute the file:
Code:
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
When it finishes, execute it again:
Code:
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
When the SuperSU Installer finishes the device will reboot
When it turns on, open SuperSU app and set default access to grant
You're rooted with SuperSU!
FlashFire:
Download attatched FlashFire
Install it
IMPORTANT!! Set the date of the phone to: 1/1/2018
Open FlashFire and flash that you want (Xposed, Dolby, etc)
And that's all hope that it helped!:fingers-crossed:

Need Help rooting and Flashing on Sprint?

Hello. I am sick from school today and decided to make a thread to help out some people.
DOWNLOADS ARE BELOW(AT THE BOTTOM!!!)
All of these steps are posted on TheUnlockr.com in a Video but The video is for the GSM version. The difference is just the recovery image. (http://theunlockr.com/2009/08/27/how-to-root-your-htc-hero-in-one-click/)
Ok lets get started.
This method works on all Sprint phones with updates. I am not sure how long this will last unpatched.
First YOU HAVE TO HAVE ADB WORKING!!!
Download my zip file if you do not want to download the entire SDK.
1)After it is downloaded, extract the files to C:\Windows\System32\
(you can copy and past the file-path)
2) Now pickup your phone and go into Settings-Applications and Enable Unknown Sources then from there go into Development and make sure that USB Debugging is enabled.
3) Now connect your phone to your computer and open up command prompt (Start-Run(or search) cmd.exe.
4)When it is open type: ADB Devices.
You should see your'r phone's serial.
Now download flashrec-1.1.3-20091107-2.apk (the download is below)
1) Copy the file to your sdcard.
2) Download any File Manager from the android market.
3) Go to your Sdcard in the file manager app on your phone.
4) Press flashrec-1.1.3-20091107-2.apk
Let it install.
5) When it is complete, go to your apps drawer and open the Recovery Flasher app.
My method requires you to have a recovery image before root.
6) In the recovery flasher app, Press Backup Recovery Image
7) Let it work. You may have to try twice for Success.
8) Now Mount your phone back on the computer and replace the recovery-backup.img with the recovery-backup.img on this thread(MAJOR thanx to Amon_RA)
9) Now unmount your phone and go back into the Recovery Flasher app on your phone.
10) Now press restore and let it flash recovery-RA-heroc-v1.2.3.img(Amon_RA's Sprint custom recovery image)
YOU NOW HAVE A CUSTOM RECOVERY IMAGE!!! WOOT WOOT
the work is still not done.
Download the Superuser.zip(http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=211569&d=1249225060 or in the downloads below) and extract it to your Sdcard
Now go into your new recovery image (power off the phone and then power it on by holding the Power and Home buttons)
Connect your phone to a computer and run command prompt.
IN COMMAND PROMPT TYPE:
Code:
adb shell
mount /sdcard
mount /system
cp /sdcard/su /system/bin/
chmod 4755 /system/bin/su
cp /sdcard/Superuser.apk /system/app/
reboot
(you can copy and past the code into command prompt from the thread)
Download the Better Terminal Emulator app from the market and type:
Code:
$ su
if you get a
Code:
#
then...YOU NOW HAVE ROOT!!
now you can install custom ROMs and root-required apps

Sent from my Galaxy Tab 7in.
Bump
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 7in.
I've tried flashing it twice via CWM but wasn't successful both times. Here's what I did to make it work.
1. Extracted su and Superuser.apk from the .zip file
2. Opened up a command prompt and issued an adb remount command
3. Pushed su into /system/bin and /system/xbin
4. Login as su into Terminal Emulator
5. Changed file permission for su (chmod 6755 su) <- verify this by opening the updater script inside the zip file
6. Open Root Explorer and install Superuser.apk
7. Reboot

Had the same issue today. Totally screwed.
Resolved by downloading through ROM Manager superuser 2.3.6.3-efgh. It fails to be installed through ROM Manager b/c access denied, just disregard. Run any file manager, go to /sdcard/clockwork/download/....further find this zip-file -su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip and move it into /sdcard.
Then reboot into recovery mode, run "install zip from sdcard", find this su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip on your sdcard and install it. REBOOT. Done.

enable init.d support in rooted phones and for every ROM

Requirement:
Rooted phone
Busy box
Terminal emulator (available in Google Play)
Download:
Term-init.zip
Instruction:
Extract the zip and Place the term-init.sh in internal sdcard
Open terminal emulator
Type: su
Allow Supersu / Superuser
Type: sh /sdcard/term-init.sh
Follow the instruction
Finish, Reboot your phone
To check whether init.d working or not:
After you reboot your phone
Go to /data directory (use Root Explorer)
You should find Test.log there, open that and make sure "init.d is working" text there
Please leave a comment if you don't understand

Can't flash latest TWRP, and lost my old install of it. Help?

Hi all,
I was running LineageOS 14.1 on my H830 with TWRP 3.2.1.0. Installed the newest nightly release via the OTA updater, which screwed up. System wouldn't boot, but I could get into TWRP. I ended up having to install it via the TWRP install option, and then had to run this code in TWRP's terminal:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/misc bs=256 count=1 conv=notrunc
to get out of the boot loop that I had.
Now I have the latest LineageOS, but I cannot boot into TWRP recovery. I have the TWRP app and have root from Magisk. I tried flashing via the app, and it gives me a success message, but when I try to boot into recovery either via the app or using power + volume, it takes me to fastboot mode. I tried flashing via adb, but this still didn't work (was getting Failed: remote: unknown command). Really need TWRP back, as I want to switch to XenonHD. Any help?
Update:
Solved thanks to @autoprime
Method (flash via dd):
dl latest twrp from h830 page on twrp.me
rename to twrp.img
place in same folder as install location for adb client (i use Minimal ADB + Fastboot)
push to /sdcard using adb client (adb push twrp.img /sdcard/twrp.img)
open adb shell (type adb shell)
type su
type appropriate dd command found on install guide on device page on twrp.me (in this case: dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/soc/624000.ufshc/by-name/recovery)
if permissions denied even if you have root:
go to developer settings
enable local terminal app
open and type su
grant super user permissions
type dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/soc/624000.ufshc/by-name/recovery
reboot into recovery via adb (adb reboot recovery) or via key combo (turn off, then hold power + volume down till lg logo, then let go of power for a second and then hold again until twrp appears)
and you're good to go!
